Staff was very kind. We enjoyed our stay in Calais because of the location of the Hotel. They are also very helpful and kind. Room was okay and also had airconditioning which helped in the warm days. Breakfast was lovely and the check out was fast and kind.

It could use some upgrading on it's rooms. They look a bit ran down and also we saw some cobwebs on the roof and some spots in the roof like if someone was playing with the smoke detector...some paint will be nice. I also was asked kindly to join the travellers for Holiday Inn..and it took a bit of while...but was okay. We just wanted to rest soon so trying to join that was not needed in that moment but was welcomed.

I only stayed one night before heading back to the UK, but the hotel was really nice. The staff were friendly, and the hotel is situated really close to a lot of bars and places to eat. Parking was on the road, and was free which was a bonus and there was plenty of room to park our large pickup. the hotel is also really close to the beach. the channel tunnel is only a short drive away too so it is excellent if you are travelling early.

I didn't like the fact that we ended up almost bringing a stowaway back to the UK on the back of our pickup. That was nothing to do with the hotel though, i just felt like moaning about it lol

Very easy to get to if you are a ferry foot passenger, there’s a free (very mini) bus from the port called Ballad’In, it drops you right at the back of the hotel or in front of you press the bell in time (lol) note it doesn’t work on Sundays. The hotel is right in the town centre, beautiful sea views if your room has it. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our room and Manon (I hope I spelt it correctly! Pardon if it’s spelt incorrectly) was so helpful and arranged an alternative upgraded room for us. She was full of information about the local area and transportation and is an absolute joy. The rooms have air con and radiators so you can be very toasty on those cold nights. They accept pets if you are travelling with one, there’s a breakfast buffet but we didn’t try it. It’s accessible with a ramp and a lift. The hotel is very clean and the showers are huuuuuge you can easily fit 2 adults and they have a rain shower and standard hose. Highly recommended

The availability of lunch / dinner, however you can use apps for delivery or stroll into the town.

The room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable i have slept in after nearly 70 years of travelling In fact i am tempted to return for another visit and add an extra night just to enjoy the bed again. The location is good with classy restairants a few minutes away.Car parking is very easy - just opposite the hotel. The staff are excellant. All in all, a very enjoyable visit and i hope to return soon.

Great location, friendly staff and lots of free parking. Breakfast was included everyday and not too busy. It was very quiet when we went so you could get a drink at the bar or ask the staff a question.

One small lift which was a bit awkward with lots of people and luggage, or if you had to wait for it. Rooms were slightly dated but not too much of an issue. There was noise at night from the local area.

The property is well situated with ample restaurants nearby. Rooms were spacious enough for our overnight stay and breakfast was fine too. I will give a special thanks to front office staff Rania who was very polite and helpful with our many questions and requirements including arranging for uk to Europe Plug adaptor

The lift button probably as it is small and got pretty busy in morning.

The hotel was only a 10min walk to the station and town hall.there is also a free public bus service to and from the ferry terminal for foot passengers within a 2min walk.had a nice view overlooking the harbour.plenty of good restaurants around the place de l'armes which is just around the corner.

No housekeeping services on multi night stays unless requested in advance,whereas other way round seems more logical but that's just a minor inconvenience

Location is fabulous, right in the centre with access to bars, restaurants, sights, port, Le Shuttle etc. Great as a jumping off point to get to other Northern French towns and then onward to Belgium and others.

The hotel is a bit tired and could do with a spruce up but it is clean, functional and comfortable. Lovely warm welcome. Decent shower.

We were walking the Via Francigena and so the location of this hotel right on the track was pefect for us. The free bus from the ferry terminal dropped us virtually outside the door and the track passes the hotel! There were also some good places to eat nearby for both dinner and breakfast. It's also a very short walk to the symbolic commencement of the VF in continental Europe. The facilties were fine but certainly not luxurious. A good, reasonably priced hotel for a couple of nights.

There were very limited tea making items.

Room was ok although cooling fan broken. Breakfast was okay. English breakfast available. Hotel in great location for local bars in main square and a fab restaurant called Le Channel.

The broken cooling fan meant that we had to have the balcony door open. We asked for 2 queen rooms. One came with balcony. The other overlooked the rubbish bins at the rear of the property.
