The room was clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We also liked having the various streaming services available (Netflix & Prime). The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon checking in, he gave us a nice room on the top floor & a discount on the parking since we were there to celebrate our 29th anniversary. Overall, it was a pleasant stay in Newport!

Parking is expensive if you have to pay full price ($42/night). My "Bayview" was overlooking the parking lot, so you may need to pay extra or request a room with an actual view. (It's also more like a small lake.)

Very nice location, next to extensive hiking trail around the bay. Very spacious room that was a good value for the location. Good restaurant with attentive staff. Nice outdoor space with fire pits and nice view. Parking cost extra but was convenient.

Slightly dated decor, but still very nice and clean. Bathroom was spacious with both shower and bathtub, but the shower had only a standard showerhead (a handheld shower, etc., would be nice).

The hotel is very big...room is clean..but when the cleaning service came to clean the room..not too clean....didnt fill up the sugar n tea...n the bed was not too clean...it waa ok

The customer service didnt give complete informatioan...i order for 4 people n when we went to eat breakfast....only got 2 people free n have to pay another 2 for $30 each for breakfast...no information in front yet.. No information...suddenly i paid more than i expected When i asked..but the answer not really nice.. My advice....your hotel is big hotel...so be prepositional...you need to give the complete information to customer... No valet parking...

I am a neighbor to the hotel that needed a place while my house was tented. I payed what I expected for 2 nights but was given a room on the second floor looking at a roof. Really? It was midweek and the hotel was not very busy. I think our experience could have resulted in a return visit if we could have at least SEEN the back bay.

The property is clean, cozy, has a beautiful pool area with fire pits, and an extremely kind staff that are very accommodating. Please be sure to tip staff well as they work so hard! The rooms are all beautiful and big with very cozy beds. The bathroom is so nice with a shower and separate bath. It is very kid friendly to the point of making movie nights for them in the pool. The view of the bay is beautiful. It’s only about a 30 min drive to the beach.

The food is very bland. The burgers patties tasted like water without seasoning. I don’t know if it’s meant to be that way because the clientele doesn’t like too much seasoning, which is possible. I’m just used to more flavor. The front of the hotel is ugly because it looks dirty like it needs a power wash, but the moment you walk in it’s gorgeous and so is the back pool area. The view is beautiful, however it looks more of a lake than a beach since it’s about a 30 min drive to the closest beach pier. It is very kid friendly which can be a pro or con depending on what you’re looking for.

The weather and location. if we were staying longer, I would have specified a room with a bay facing view. The staff was super friendly and made accommodations where they could.

Extra cost for amenities. Besides parking costing $35 per night, Internet was $14.95 per night (which I didn’t opt for) and bottled water was $7 in the room which I would expect, but the lobby concession was $6.

I loved the customer service. the whole staff was nice and we felt like everyone genuinely cared about our needs. the food and outdoor amenities were outstanding. i would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. hotel was immaculate!

The rooms need a little bit of upgrades. maybe add some usb charging ports in room. there was an iphone radio clock that is non existent no a days.

Room was spacious with good light and very clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Coffee bar downstairs is convenient. Location is good and convenient but not luxurious. Free Showtime was a nice bonus.

Pool and fitness areas are small. Parking cost extra. For a longer stay I would have liked to have a bigger fridge, a microwave and better coffee machine.

This property was clean, comfortable, great food , nice patio area , pool was heated and the fitness center was great, not to mention the walking trail around the back bay was very convenient.

The parking fees and internet fee was a little high, especially since the room rates are not the lowest. The air conditioner did t have a continuous fan on it so the room did get stuffy at night if we didn’t crank the temperature really low.

It was next door to where my husband had surgery, staff was extremely nice and went out of there way to make me feel comfortable being in a hotel by myself for the first time. it was clean, bed was super comfy, food at the restaurant is phenomenal

The price is outrageous but had no choice considering my husband was having surgery next door
