We loved the amenities and the location so close for day trips to the war memorials.

The restaurant- for a hotel of this size we wished you had more to offer for dinner. After being in holiday for two weeks and eating in restaurants we really wanted a simple green salad. It was available- just a Caesar salad ( which I ordered) but it only came with fried chicken fingers, which were not very good. Grilled chicken was not an available, which surprised me. We ate in town after that.

All staff very friendly and reception excellent. Location for visiting Normandy everything we required. Breakfast good. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of hot water for bath and shower, Port en Bessin- Huppain very close, lovely small fish restaurants. Pool looked great but a bit cold for us in April.

Mercure rooms are usually larger. Small bathroom. Did not like floor covering in room. Dinner menu quite limited , only ate once but food very nice. Larger bath towels would be nice. These points however did not distract from our enjoyment.

The price of one night for 3 of us wasn't bad. The breakfast had a wide variety of carbs, meat, and vegetables

(Information only) The breakfast room had some mosquitos, but I don't believe they bothered us. I think that's for anywhere around because I saw hundreds of mosquitos stuck to the ceiling at a restaurant (not at the hotel) and didn't get bitten. I had a good night sleep but realized that my back hurt when I got up. Compared to my home bed, it's a bit uncomfortable. I chose this location for good price near the Omaha Beach, which was only 15 minutes away, but it's in the countryside where the roads were narrow without street lights. Just be careful driving at night.

It is a very nice place very well located near Port-en-Bessin, the mid point of the beaches of D-Day. Main purpose of our visit. The nearby Port en Bessin has very good restaurantes for lunch an dinner. Rooms and property are very good, as expected, located in a very nice area in the country side with a Golf course. Very pleasent location. Front desk very helpfull

The rooms at the floor level facing the pool or near the bar are very noisy., We stayed for two nights and we did not sleep well.

room was nice and comfy. the breakfast was absolutely brilliant and could not have been better, and the view and proximity to normandy d-day landing beaches was amazing, and the service was fantastic, the nicest hotel staff I have ever met.

the restaurant could have been better but it was still alright if a little overpriced.

all staff from the cleaning ladies to reception to ladies at breakfast super resturant staff all great. Plus buffet breakfast very good. Good parking.

a long walk to "privilage" room with lots of luggage with dog and no lift to get to room, thankfully very helpful reception lady helped us. Bath/shower was not what i would call "privilege" not easy for my 77 year old legs despite being reasonably fit. Lighting not good in a very small tea/coffee making "shelf" not good.

Shower over the bath not ideal. Would prefer just a shower. Bath towels were poor and would expect better from the general standard of the hotel Tea coffee provided but had to ask for milk but no fridge to keep it fresh

Great location to Normandy D-Day beaches. Nice property for the price.

Was upgraded to larger room but was on second floor and buildings don’t have lifts/elevators. One of the younger males at front desk help lift our large bag but it seemed like an inconvenience even though we tipped him nicely.

Views, food, room. Beds are very comfortable and good air-conditioning. Big tv.plenty of sockets.

Food for children..eg chips, plain pasta. Would have preferred a snooker table instead of the no pocket billiards table. Also vending machine is in the golf club house which closes at night. No option for sandwiches but food is very well prepared with fresh ingredients and priced well.

The swimming pool and spa facilities where excellent, very good hot tub. Also the golf facilities are very good, didn't have time to play on any but all looked in great condition from the road. Used the putting green and practice range and let you hit on the grass which is very rare and definitely preferable. All was maintained to a high standard. Room was good size with nice balcony overlooking part of the course. Free drinks in the mini bar was also a nice touch.

The dinner wasn't the best, was told by reception it was a BBQ so we decided to book which cost €40 a head (Not cheap). When we got there discovered it was wasn't happening and got the choice of a chewy old steak or tuna. Very disappointed and very overpriced.
