Everything! The location was excellent, it was away from the main area with shops and bars which meant it was nice and quiet, but close enough to walk to shops and bars, or you could take a tuk-tuk, which reception would call for you. The local area is really nice and family friendly, lots of little shops and market style areas, there is a lovely little night market which is more like an outdoor food court, you can buy all kinds of lovely food then go and sit at the bar which is like a dining area, order a drink (If you like cocktails try a Tipsy Mermaid!) and eat your food. There are lots of little bars and cafes. A little further away (200 baht in a tuk-tuk) is a huge night market where you can buy all sorts of clothes, bags,& souvenirs. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant location overlooking the beach and the pool was beautiful. I loved the fact that real coffee was prepared for you at breakfast, not just a pot that stood there for hours. The coffee was individually prepared and there was wide choice. There was also a live cooking station for eggs, so you could have your eggs individually prepared to your liking. There was a good selection of either Asian, continental or English style cooked breakfast, and of course you could mix and match! The beach was beautiful and clean, and although the pool was beautiful and never crowded I chose to swim in the beautiful blue sea everyday. The hotel was full (which is why I was given a fabulous room upgrade!) but it never felt crowded. There were always lots of loungers available at the pool or by the beach and the restaurant/bar area never felt crowded either. I stayed during October half term and was eager to visit again at Christmas or Get but they were fully booked until March. Not surprised really, beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and warm, friendly staff who did whatever they could to make your stay wonderful, and at a really good price.

Nothing, I loved everything!

This hotel was a real paradise for us to which we would always come back for another stay at Khao Lak. We loved everything here: the very helpful and friendly staff, the pure jungle feeling including new discoveries of plants or animals every day, the pool area including Cosy bar, the clean and quiet beach, the rich breakfast that varied every day. Last but of course not least the room was large enough, clean and it’s design fits perfectly to the rest of the hotel. On top there were always little surprises and unexpected details which showed the enthusiasm and spirit of all staff members to make the stay here an outstanding experience for their guests

The breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Location was very good on a beautiful beach with easy access to the town. Taxis always available outside the hotel or you can walk which takes about 20 minutes. Enjoyed the spa on a few occasions.

We had 3 nights in a delux room and then we were given an upgrade for 7 nights in a villa, which was beautiful. I would suggest you take your own hairdryer as the wall mounted one is very poor. There also wasn’t a mirror at all in the bedroom near the plug sockets or over the dressing table.

It's a beautiful resort in a natural setting (it's like the whole place is set in a botanical garden) with great facilities, comfortable rooms, a good restaurant and a lovely staff team. It's also right at the beach in a small bay area which keeps it free from the hoards of tourists that visit the area.In the evening little hermit crabs roam the beach front side of the resort. The restaurant is great and recommend ordering the seafood platter, which needs to be done a day in advance - really good!

The desserts.The rest of the foods (particularly all the Thai foods) are great though!

The room was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was wonderful and the spa treatments were easy to book and of high quality. The staff was incredibly attentative and friendly too. I can recommend asking the hotel for a shuttle service from the airport - it was very comfortable and reliable! The garden and the beatiful "huts" with traditional roofs made the resort stand out to me.

Since there are many steps between the reception and some of the rooms, it may be a little difficult for people with mobility issues. The reception was always available via phone though, so it is certainly not necessary to walk the steps often. The hotel also carried our luggage to the room, so no problem if you can't carry your luggage for a long time. The Wifi was sometimes a little unstable in our room, but it worked really well outside of our room.

Breakfast superb, good choice and all fresh. Plenty to eat. Staff great, great location with view of beach Pool superb. Location fantastic. Very quiet but exactly what we wanted. Small restaurants nearby on the beach. One hour from Phuket airport. Beautiful Gardens. Very serene.

Misunderstanding re check in time but resolved. They could improve the Gym. air conditioning wasn't working initially. They fixed it eventually. One of the aerobic machines not working, the stepper and only ONE other option. But in the scheme of things not important. just for feedback!

We had an amazing stay at Paradise Resort. The hotel is in an idyliic setting next to the beach with abundant planting throughout which makes you feel like your're within a forest/natural setting. The hotel arranged airport pickup and drop-off so arrival was stress free. The staff were amazing, attending to our every need. Food and drinks are available ever day from the beach bar which means you can enjoy your drinks and food by the pool or on the beach itself. Room was was very well presented with top cleanliness and facilities (including fridge, mini bar, safe etc.). Gym and spa are also available if needs be. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing stay within Khao Lak.

Didn't like the automatic 10% service charge on all food and drink orders.

Beautiful setting amongst tropical gardens. Staff excellent. Amenities very good. We had a villa near the pool and beach. I would not recommend this resort for anyone with mobility issues as there many steps to access from the resort reception desk at street level to the accommodation level at sea level. You can order staff to transfer you via small transfer vehicle on the access road at rear of the resort. Tut Tuk required to take you into Khao Lak for 150 Baht each way. We visited during low-season. Very few guests. Food was good although a limited menu due to low-season. Overall a great resort.

The hotel is in a very unique location, the jungle right next to the beach. All of the accommodation feels very integrated into the surroundings and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide good things in the room like nice quality soaps and things. The location isn't close to Khao Lak but is walking distance to restaurants and things both on the beach and road, just at the entrance to the hotel is a really great cafe.

Due to rainy season and our villa being wood there was a strong smell of damp. But when we mentioned to the staff they bough a dehumidifier and helped to fix it quickly. Also the breakfast selection was limited, not much Asian options but again I think this was due to low season. I don't recommend if you have accessibility issues or if you're not into nature.

A true individual family run hotel, where you felt at home from the start. Ideal location directly on a quiet part of Khao Lak in a beautifully kept jungle, full of mature trees and exotic plants. The staff were engaging and forever helpful, and we ate most of our meals on the beach. Memorable and unusual in our bland resort world.

Awkward for anyone with reduced mobility, though the staff were always attentive to our needs.Khao Lak main strip is under whelming.
