Everything here was amazing and worth every penny. We had such a good stay and an amazing safari with a very knowledgable guide. Hasindu was super helpful. We would definitely love to return.

Only comment would be that there were loud children in the pool and the screaming was a bit annoying.

The service and the theme of the hotel and the attention to detail of the managers and staff is amazing.

The rooms are not far apart enough...noisy neighbors will disturb your sleep and the serenity of the place

An incredible setting within Yala National Park with wildlife around you - literally in the round of the location. The quality of the tented lodge accommodation and the food were both outstanding - the best we experienced in Sri Lanka in both cases - by some margin. The quality of the three safaris we did were excellent, with a great guide and great drivers! Our location meant we could access the park more quickly than many other tours and we seemed to have VIP 'fast track' access through the entry gates, ahead of many, many other safari trucks. The overall customer service was excellent with Sashi attending to our every queston and need via Whatsapp and in person. Thank you Sashi! The food and service in the restaurant were both outstanding and special mention must go to Tilshan who looked after us in the restaurant every day of our stay - he was superb, remembering our preferences after day one.

Very small comment - housekeeping need to ensure they also sweep/(vacuum?) the floorboards of the lodges as we found they hadn't been cleaned so became a little gritty under bare feet, the more time spent on the safaris and then coming back to the room. Bathroom supplies weren't always restocked also, we noticed. Our one, very small polite gripe!

The hotel features a truly unique room design, with every detail carefully crafted to align with the safari-inspired theme, making it a special experience. The staff is absolutely amazing, with Rohan standing out for being exceptionally attentive, though the entire team was always helpful, friendly, and welcoming, consistently greeting guests with warm smiles. The food is absolutely outstanding, with flavors that impress, and the presentation of the dishes is consistently incredible, elevating the dining experience. Having the safari included in the stay is another major highlight, as it eliminates waiting in queues and ensures a well-organized experience, with guides who are very knowledgeable about the safari, adding significant value to the visit.

The lunch menu is quite limited, offering only three main dish options, which falls short of expectations for a hotel of this category. Additionally, the lack of access to the beach limits the experience, particularly for those who would prefer a swim over staying by the pool. Lastly, the loungers could be of better quality, as they are not cushioned and do not match the standards expected from a five-star hotel.

A very unique and beautiful hotel. The room was spotless and had a beautiful private pool surrounded by trees, a great mix of tented/safari style and luxury. The staff were all fantastic and the foot was amazing, especially the meal that we had on the beach (shout out to Aishira for his amazing service and providing a birthday cake for my partner). The safari's themselves are very well organised and we saw Elephants, leopards etc. They pre book the entry tickets to the park as well so you go straight to the front of the queue and you have your own, highly knowledgeable, assigned driver and guide for the duration of your. The all inclusive package is also very good and everything you could need is included. Our room host Shak was great too and always responsive via WhatsApp, Venura was another stand out waiter.

Outstanding in every way! Thoughtfully and beautifully appointed cocoons / pods with an old colonial feel. One of the best place’s we have stayed in - nothing we would change! We loved the Suite layout. The outside deck with a plunge pool that was very clean and at a perfect temperature! Binali deserves special mention for her help arranging a surprise anniversary dinner. Meghawarna the manager was also helpful re our pre transfer arrival and made us feel very welcome. Sumit and Asangar our guide and driver (+Ashant) were all brilliant helping us to see 4 leopard’s and many more animals and birds. The food was very good and we would recommend dinner on the beach Ruhini (?) Yahesh (?) who looked after us were really excellent also.

Literally nothing we would change!

This is an incredible hotel that exceeded our expectations in many ways. It is hard to fault - the staff regularly went out of their way to meet our needs. The facilities were exceptional - our family pods were very comfortable and the decor classy and in keeping with safari vibes. Kids loved our private plunge pool! The spa was fabulous - possibility one of the best massages I have ever had thanks to experienced therapists. The quality of the food and choice at the restaurant can not be faulted.

Everything.... We've never stayed anywhere like this. It was unique, amazing, and memorable. Every little touch was well thought out, and we didn't want to leave. All the staff are wonderful and make you feel very special. Kavi looked after us, and he was extremely attentive and professional with a lovely personal touch, nothing was too difficult. The food and drinks were delicious, and sunset cocktails a beautiful touch. The included Game Drive was soooo good!

One of the most uniquely and beautifully designed properties we have stayed in. It's literally like someone has tried to put the cocoons there without disturbing the surrounding nature, which is a rare feat in today's times. We stayed in the family cocoon which has a private pool. The room is fantastic with a vintage / Victorian design aesthetic inside. There are so many small touches that make you realize the seriousness towards sustainability. The stay is all inclusive and has a laundry inclusion as well, which was great for us. We also had a safari included that was great too! Adding to the beautiful design is their amazing service and hospitality! Rohan was great and always available. Tilshan in the restaurant was superb with his service. As we were celebrating a special occasion, the staff organized a special table for us by the beach, under the stars and it was just amazing! The food across all the meals was great too, their cactus, passion fruit chilli and salted caramel ice creams were some of the best I've ever had! Overall, a great choice for a stay at the Yala National park.

We booked all inclusive and we really got to see the true meaning for all inclusive. Food was simply superb. Cocoon rooms were very beautifull and really wud love to spend another day. Check in smooth like i havent seen before and got the room ahead of check in time which i really liked as it was hot. Overall the surrpundings beach area and pool area were amazing to spend time Chathuka contacted us ahead of time and arranged everything as planned and as per out watsapp chats. All the staff were very humble and very nice looking to make us happy and comortable
