Excellent location, close to all centre attractions in Worcester. We stayed in the Tilley and the box bed and large bath and shower were nice additions. The room was clean and well appointed with good character. The staff were very courteous and showed us to our room personally and explained how everything works.
My only very minor criticism was that the WiFi was down and the signal is bad due to the age of the building. This is a temporary problem though the staff explained and apologised for any inconvenience.

I liked that the room was very thoughtfully renovated and with a good quality - I wouldn't necessarily expect that from such an old building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best thing though would be the breakfast - it's sent to the room in a very stylish old-style picnic box which is a great idea. Not only does it mean you can have breakfast any time you want, but also in your room.
Given that the breakfast is taken in the room, a bigger table might have been useful. It's fine when you're alone but even then the night stand is a little awkward to eat on. The service times are tied to the pub opening times which needs to be taken into account for the arrival date. However, when I was faced with a flight delay and called in, the staff made it clear that they would make the check-in possible anyway.

Great location in Worcester. The cathedral and the river are just around the corner. The inn has wonderful character. The staff are friendly and attentive. Martin is a great host. I really liked the breakfast picnic basket put outside my room every morning. The ensuite bathroom was modern and immaculate.
The modern car parking ramp directly across the street is an eyesore for such a historic street. However, there isn't anything the inn can do about that. Fortunately, there wasn't any noise from it.

The room had a nice feature in a place to hang coats and take off wet boots as you enter the room but before entering the main room. I was asked if i wanted the cooked breakfast or the standard, I opted for the standard. I was informed it would be left outside my door in a basket, it was a picnic hamper with plates and cutlery. The breakfast itself was more than enough and very nice.
I found the bed a little short but that was only a problem as I had a restless night.

Bed was really comfy. Great duvet. Lovely roll top free standing bath. Young lad checked us in and served us breakfast was really nice and helpful. Cooked breakfast was definitely worth the £5 extra, hot, freshly cooked, and good quality ingredients. Great central location with parking close by. Worcester is a lovely city to visit. Great atmosphere in pub and good beer.
It was a little noisy from the bar at night, but we didn't mind as its to be expected if you book a room in a pub. Our floor in the bathroom was a bit slippery when in socks. Maybe try a different floor cleaner?

Room was quite spacious, clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean and functional. The pub was very good, but the room quiet. Breakfast was simple.
Too much clutter with excessive pillows/cushions on the bed. Where to put them? It's summer, I don't need a tog 12 duvet. I ended up taking it out and sleeping under the duvet cover after cooling off. Kettle could only be filled by loading in several glasses. Unable to do so in the bathroom directly. Breakfast basket had seen better days. No butter with the croissant.

Very good position, warm comfortable room, good well replenished coffee and tea making facilities, continental breakfast was included, good value. Access was easy through the staff entrance-so the pub didn't have to be open for us to get in.
The room was quite small and there was no hanging space for clothes- only a hook and drawers, the bed was a little soft- good for a night or two, but cramped for a couple for a week.

Hotel is in a great location - NCP parking opposite. Staff were friendly, and the rooms are great - all individually styled and comfortable. Nice breakfast, good price.
Booking says breakfast is included, but when you get there it's a continental and they want an extra £5 per person for cooked. To be fair it was worth it, but a bit misleading not to say so up front. At the end of your stay the front door is locked so you have to go down a fire escape. Don't really understand why not unlock the door to let us out?

The staff were amazing! Really attentive and kindly told us about the history of the building (and the ghosts) over breakfast. Room was clean and tidy with good facilities (tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries etc) Breakfast was beautiful. The pub had a really nice vibe and good beer selection. Shout out to Ellis who was just lush. He even made us a coffee for the road which we really appreciated.
The parking was a bit of an issue. They no longer offer a discount for the NCP car park opposite so we ended up luckily finding a parking space outside but had to move the car at 8.30am to avoid getting a ticket. We moved the car to the NCP and parked for about 2 hours which cost me £6. I hate to think what overnight parking would cost. (This is cheaper if you download the NCP app though)

The room was spacious with a quirky bed you could enclose yourself in. It was clean and well stocked with tea/coffee etc, as well as water. The bathroom was large with an enormous bath and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast on day one was really good with lovely fresh produce. It was too much for me so stuck to continental on day two. Staff are very friendly and helpful and always around.
I had booked a double deluxe but believed it was one of the rooms with a bed accessible all round. We had the bed you have to climb up into and only one side access. With mobility issues this provided difficult to negotiate, especially at night and with two people in. This should be noted as unsuitable for certain people. Although there are always people around we did have a bit of a wait to check in.
