Beautiful room so comfy , netlfix and the hot chocolate sachets in the room was a nice touch as I don’t drink tea or coffee . Food and drinks delicious and staff lovely .

Working in an expensive hotel myself , the fact the spa isn’t included in the already expensive room is honestly ridiculous. £20 per person onto off the room price is daylight robbery as the spa is so small .

The location is marvellous with amazing views. The hotel is modern & clean with lots of space for residents to sit & chat in inclement weather. Lookout food great but we all agreed that some dishes both @ dinner & breakfast could be improved upon eg Although the poached eggs in the Eggs Benedict were perfect the ham was thin & pretty tasteless & the hollandaise sauce had virtually no flavour. However the presentation was great & there was a good variety of dishes including vegetarian which suited two of our party who are not carnivores.

See above - plus we were glad that a somewhat surly barman in the afternoon was replaced by a nice cheerful & friendly one. The loo roll holder in our bathroom kept coming apart & we all felt that the bedrooms were a bit warm & the air on refused to adjust to our desired temperature.

A luxurious retreat in the middle of a bucolic countryside. Modern and relaxed would be the way I would describe the decor. Our room was spacious and well equipped. My daughter and I did book massages at the spa, which were wonderful. We tried both restaurants and were happy with our meals. The views from the restaurants were amazing.

It was a little out of town enough so that we took a cab to get there. My only issue for us was the bed pillows, which were very flat.

The hotel was welcoming and set in a beautiful location with stunning scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and great value for money and there was an excellent selection at breakfast. The Thermal suite was compact and it was great that numbers were limited so everyone could use the facilities without queuing.

The jacuzzis and seaweed baths have limited access and would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Also, there should be more handrails up to and into both to prevent accidents. A fridge in the room would also be useful.

The hotel decor is beautiful and it has an elegant cosy feel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and service all round was excellent.

It was very warm in the restaurant but since we were having a very wintery weather this week it’s not surprising that they were keeping it warm inside. While our dinner was excellent the breakfast was slightly disappointing, it was fine but not as good as I expected based on the dinner and breakfasts in other hotels of this calibre.

Hotel location was excellent with beautiful views. All the staff were very friendly and full of information. We don't think we've been to a hotel before when the staff couldn't do more for you. They were so full of information and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was outstanding and very good choices. The bar was really snug and beautifully decorated for Christmas. All in all we really enjoyed our short stay

Nothing everything was really good

Beautiful hotel, very clean, with comfortable spacious rooms. Has great views over the coast and lovely outdoor areas, plenty of car parking space. Staff were friendly, good food ( we had breakfast x2 and ate dinner in the Lookout Restaurant x1).

Travelled with 16 and 14 year old daughters who could not access any Spa facilities...therefore l didn't book either. We were disappointed there wasn't access allowed to hot tubs at least unless booking the Spa facilities.

Location lovely & quiet & bedroom was in a good position .

The noise of the barman throwing bottles into the bin right BESIDE him was totally unnecessary especially for a hotel with such standards & ⭐ rating my husband fortunately spoke with a member of staff & that Helped a little __ kitchen door leaving the kitchen not entering NEEDS adjusting as it BANGS shut every time a staff member LEAVES the kitchen __my husband was wanting to get a screw driver so as to release the tension on the over head DOOR CLOSER ARM on right hand door .just to slack it off .🤗

The Salthouse Hotel is in the most beautiful location - views from the bar/restaurant and the spa are spectacular. I visited Fair Head and Murlough Bay, both of which were short drives from the hotel. Ballycastle beach is a just a walkable distance away too. Room was very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Really enjoyed the food at the restaurant too, I had breakfast, lunch and dinner over my stay.

Breakfast was included in my rate which was great but felt lunch and dinner menu was a bit too pricey
