It was a great pleasure to stay at addo dung beetle guest farm. We were in a bush cabin. Its cute and we loved it:) Outside shower and toilet was fun. The staff was so kind and we loved the food they prepared. We also went on a safari and just booked it there and they arranged everything, was really nice time at addo elephant park. We also drove threw the park with our rental car, that was fun too:)

Around the bed is not much space, bit it was enough to just put your luggage. For us it was perfectly fine, but uf you like more space maybe book not a bush cabin.

We stayed here as a family group of 8 adults and 2 children (80yrs to 6yrs) and everyone was very impressed with everything from the beautiful valley views to the generous portion sizes of breakfasts and dinner, from the swimming areas to the maze that needed to be negotiated between our cabins/ suites and the novelty of outside showers and toilets in the rustic cabins. Henry and Davie went out of their way to help us with everything including arranging our own braai and making suggestions of things to do in the area. Very easy 5-10min drive to Addo Elephant Park. We'll definitely be back again.

My husband is 6ft 4, so I was worried that the ceiling might be too low - it was spacious enough, which was great. The shower was a little tight though. Location was great, view was lovely and the food was excellent. It would have been a nice touch to add some soft music during dinner and breakfast. We tried the Spa as well, which was nice, although the lady is not professional, it was very relaxing.

I would have liked breakfast and dinner to be served for a little longer so that we didn't have to get up so early. Our massage was booked from 9-10, so we had to have breakfast first, which didn't give much time to relax. Also when checking in, dinner was served from 7-8, so we didn't have much time to settle in before we had to go for dinner. Just a little flexibility in times would be great.

Best way to describe the bush camps are "quirky" - romantic if you enjoy being in the bush and don't mind an outside toilet and shower under the stars! The facilities are part of a very large working citrus farm, so there is continuous 24x7 activity, which distracts slightly from the overall experience, but the views are lovely, the staff great and both the dinner (traditional South African fare - bobotie) and the breakfast were great. We used the facility as a base for exploring the Addo Elephant Park, situated just down the road.

Although not really under the guest farm's control, the access road is gravel and in quite poor condition. Being a light sleeper, having generators going all night and farm vehicles working all night meant I did not have such a great night's rest, but my partner was unaffected.

Breakfast was lovely. Service great. Everyone so friendly and helpful. I want to go back soon for atleast 3 nights.

The bats...kids had to come sleep in our chalet as there was a bat flying around in their room. We could also hear them the entire night crawling around in the roof. They have had exterminators in and they will be called in again. They are working on the problem. Also I would suggest filling the dam by lapa area and add some koi. Will be great for guests to sit and watch. Relaxing. And a protable braai for chalets to use if it is too expensive to build a braai at each chalet But over all an amazing setting and experience

The staff couldn't have been nicer! Authentic South African dinners were an added bonus. My family and I did two game drives that well exceeded expectations!

The pool - I always book a place with a pool for my 9 year old and for me. This pool was dirty and freezing. I had a morning to lounge and would have loved to take a dip :)

We booked a Bush cabin and we would Do that anytime again. It was such a nice experience and for a change something completely different and special. We enjoyed it a lot to use the outdoor kitchen, having a fire at night and relaxing on the small terrace in the middle of the nature. Also showering outdoors felt very relieving. Everything was clean, tidy and cozy. The staff was also very friendly.

Absolutly nothing to complain

Excellent breakfast. Take-away breakfast was also very good. Evening meal was two courses, good quality. Excellent views. Staff and Management team all very friendly, no request too much trouble. Addo on the doorstep. Good local facilities. Supermarket and fuel clo

Lounging around and relaxing was not getting ready until we left. Limited food options.

It was a lovely cabin. A beautiful view through the bush but just enough to still give the feel of being completely in the bush and secluded. Very peaceful and private. There was all the utensils and kitchen appliances you would need for a comfortable stay as well as a lovely braai over hanging from the balcony. The cabin was so cozy.

There was nothing we didn’t like, the only thing that was a bit of a bummer was that the hot tub was out of order.

Breakfast was exceptional, generous and delicious. The Lapa area is beautiful with lush garden, rock pool and stunning views!

We stayed in the Dung beetle accommodation which is such a unique experience. Unfortunately, the Aircon was not sufficient to cool down the accommodation in the extreme summer heat. Luckily, it did cool down in the evening after sun set.
