The location is amazing, just a short walk to the waterfront park and a ton of shops, restaurants, and museums. We were provided with coupons for each day of our stay to use at the coffee shop, more than enough to cover two daily drip coffees. The staff was delightfully friendly and we loved the little touch of leaving a little baggie of cookies on the door every evening with the next days weather. We'd absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in the peak of summer, and the wall unit couldn't quite keep up. It was a little uncomfortably warm and difficult to get a good night's sleep. We'd have appreciated a ceiling fan to circulate the air a little better. The toilet was also a little short, which didn't bother me (I'm 5'5") but my 5'11" partner found it a little uncomfortable.

This hotel is beautifully done. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the bathroom is gorgeous, with a nice big bathtub. It is a great location, nears bars and restaurants and shops. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. They give you a bag every night with the weather report for the next day and 2 cookies. The gym has everything you need and there is a coffee shop attached to the building with delicious coffee and treats. They also sell beer and wines d they leave a bottle of red and white wine in the room for purchase. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is right in downtown on a busy road. I was not bothered by it but there is traffic noise early.

Very clean rooms with large, nice bathrooms. Dual shower heads and bench in shower. Overall, wonderful location in the heart of downtown Beaufort about 1 1/2 blocks to the waterfront, restaurants, beautiful old houses. Also has its own coffee shop, we didn’t realize until leaving that you have 2 free coffees waiting for you there. Super nice and helpful staff. Free loaner bikes available out front.

Great staff, room very clean, nice bathroom with soaker tub! They also have a coffee shop attached with cocktails as well. Our location was terrific, walking distance through downtown with restaurants and shops. Our 1st trip to Beaufort, would stay with City Loft again, enjoyed it!

Awesome hotel and it's literally in the middle of the Historic District. We parked our car and didnt take it out again, as we walked everywhere! There are tons of great restaurants and bars nearby, as well as so many beautiful homes to see. At first it looks like an old style motel, but the inside is quite plush. No breakfast was offered, but they did give us two $6 vouchers for coffee at the little coffee shop next door. Their coffee was awful though and it took us a half hour to get two lattes. We'll definitely stay here again!

The parking was tight, as lots of people who aren't staying there use their lot. Maybe they should at least have a sign or something to not park there.

Excellent coffee and pastries. Appreciated the $5 coupon for each day at Hotel Java and News coffee shop. Good hours and reasonably priced. Loved the robes and fluffy towels and washcloths. Loved the separate tub and shower. Extremely comfortable bed.

Could hear the people in the room above me moving around. At times it was loud and I was awakened during the night. Not loud voices but walking, dropping things, moving around. That may not be something that can be helped. In the future, I will have to be sure I book a room on the top floor. Also would have liked to been able to get my own ice. Having to call the office to get ice when I needed it and then waiting on it was inconvenient.

Was great coffee in the lobby period and we are only a few blocks away from other dog friendly restaurants

It was the last room so No accommodations were available period the counter had burn marks from previous guests and the bed. The drawer was broken also from the previous guest

I never checked on rates here even though I frequented the coffee shop when I used a clients condo on Fripp. I was pleasantly surprised it was actually fairly reasonable. Then I read about 20 reviews and knew this is where I wanted to stay. I actually switched from a really beautiful looking 2/2 bath townhome over in Bluffton to stay here. Was able to cancel that right by the cut off date. Liver everything about this place. Shared my pics on my FB page and friends set it looked wonderful. The location doesn’t hurt either. Very cordial and attentive staff. Young guy I spoke to before arrival when I asked if I would be top floor or bottom he said where would you like to be? I kidded that I tend to bring too much stuff and he said well let me know when you arrive I’ll come help you. So nice! I wound up doing it myself but the offer was terrific

Only thing was the little TV in the bathroom never got a signal. I understand it could be the weather that knocked it out

Only minor issue was that they didn't have any USB plug in outlets. Bring your chargers!
