For the breakfast restaurant: It was decent. Food was good. Nice atmosphere. There's a bit of a wait (almost an hour). As non-hotel customers are served before hotel voucher customers. There was a bit of a weird moment where the waiter spilled hot tea all over the table and the floor and told us to calm down and not to be upset and it's just tea in a strangely flippant way. He did this before we even said a word... I wasn't angry and accidents do happen, but it was strangely handled and he walked away without a sorry. Other than that, all the meals were nice there.

There isn't any reception there. All the interactions were handled by paper notes. I thought texts might be a little bit better.

Breakfast was in the restaurant next. Good choices from the menu. Service at the restaurant was outstanding! Downside was that we had to carry all luggage up three flights of stairs. Check in counter is down a few doors from the hotel entrance. Great location to see the town and explore. Short walk to port for cruise (or in our case simple Uber ride - under $15).

Room was clean spacious and quiet. Employee working was very helpful with information. Again no elevator and had to carry luggage up three flights of stairs.

Breakfast coupons not provided on arrival. Contacting staff difficult. Staff not on site until mid morning which was too late to have breakfast. Paid for breakfast for three people for two days but had to pay again for breakfast in nearby cafe. Sought a refund from hotel management just prior to departure.

Unable to contact staff prior to mid morning … unable to locate alternative location to seek help as indicated on website. Alternate hotel was being renovated and not open. Reception area not staffed before 10.00 am.

Friendly reception, nice rooms, great location

Unfortunately the restaurant did not open at 8 am as advertised (due to a lost key) but there was nothing posted on the door, and there were about 10 people feeling rather disappointed. I understand things like this happen but a failure to post a note about that is somewhat unprofessional. Not enough to negatively affect my review, but an improvement in this area would be appreciated.

Absolutely everything. From the style of the rooms, the setup of the hotel, and the location. If you want to be pampered with TV, jacuzzi, etc. Please book elsewhere instead of giving a poor rating. This is a hotel for those who want to extend their experience of old Québec to their hotel and does it exceptionally well.

Breakfast was adequate for our needs. Location was convenient.

We weren't prepared for the three flights of steep, narrow stairs to get to our room. I thought I'd have a heart attack humping my suitcases upstairs that first night.

The breakfast was outstanding.

Accessibility was a bit hard but that’s due to my physical limitations. I just had to take the stairs slowly. Thankful we were only one flight up.

Dora... She was exceptional! She was very pleasant and friendly. And, very helpful to make our stay perfect.

Ice Machine inside the hotel. Although, I cannot complain because the people at Sagamite were pleasant and attended to us quickly when we needed the ice. Also, we very much enjoyed our breakfast experience at that restaurant. Josee-Anne (the first) was an exceptional waitress and exceeded our expectations.

The hotel room was exactly as shown on the site. Amenities were also as mentioned, location is really convenient if one wants to explore old town. Staff was courteous.

The GPS may not take you to the correct building so it's better to reach on time within the check-in limit. Our purpose of visit was relaxing and exploring, which was met.

The room is very well maintained, clean, bathroom is new, the room and bed very good. The building is old, but that is Quebec city, you go for the old. Enjoyed it very much.
