This property is a gem. It’s full of rich historic charm. The location can’t be beat - we were able to return throughout the day to change outfits, freshen up or rest if needed. This is located on the best street, just a few blocks from Chateau Frontenac. It’s easy to get to lower town, and to the citadelle from here. The hosts are just lovely. They are really special, kind people. They put a lot of love into running the B&B and go out of their way to make your stay special. I loved the extra details like welcome tea and cookies to go on our last day. They also change the breakfast each day for guests. The breakfasts were excellent. One day was heavier carbs, the next had lots of protein. So there is variation. The room was warm but with the AC it was completely fine at night for sleeping. I liked that our room had a sink in the closet - it is quirky and unique. This helped reduce time spent in the shared bathroom on the 3rd floor.

The shower on the 3rd floor did have some mold/mildew. This could be scrubbed with bleach or something on a regular basis. I wonder if the ventilation is perhaps not working well.

The couple that hosts this B&B were beyond welcoming and so nice. They offered us water coffee and tea upon our arrival, and once we left our bags in our room , they gave us tips on how to get to know old Québec and where the best spots for photos were. Breakfast was delicious and generous and you get to meet other people staying at the B&B as well. Ps: we got some homemade cookies to take with us!! Definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay at St. Louis was very memorable. From the start, we were warmly greeted by our hosts, Salouha and Ahmed, as if we were family. Even though we arrived around 8 PM, Salouha served us tea with some of her delicious fresh baked cookies. During our two-night stay, both our hosts offered helpful tips on what to see and how to get around and return to the train station. Salouha and Ahmed are lovely people, and we’ll always remember their kindness during our visit to Quebec City.

The property could be refurbished but then again, this is an old historic building and was the first city hall of Quebec City.

The hotel is an old house it looks like a cultural heritage, you feel you were recreating the life years ago. The hosts are a couple so kind and friendly. The offer a warm welcome and make sure you feel like you were at home. They cook delicious breakfast, everyday the menu is different, and they show you the map of the city and explaine you the best way to visit the main places. They offer the transportation service to go to the airport.

I couldn't neither use the wifi nor TV. The connection was bad they suggested restart the modem because they said each floor has a different modem. However, I didn't need it too much because I spent most of the time out visiting the city.

You could not find a better spot to stay, as you walk in the door to smiling hosts who have opened their home. The location is incredible. Central and walking distance to everything, the breakfast is homemade and delicious. I had an early start which had me leaving before 730am breakfast time and the hosts lovingly packed me a quick breakfast to go. Just amazing.

This is an older home, with the expected wear and tear but you know you see past all of that when you see the heart of the guests. I would still highly recommend this property.

The location is ideal since it is right in the heart of Olde Quebec. The breakfasts were unbelievably fresh and made with pride by the innkeepers - new every morning. Their friendliness and helpfulness were so noticeable throughout the time we were there.

There was a difference in what Booking price said and what Innkeeper said. Small difference but I think it should always match.

The location in Quebec Old Town was exceptionally good, walking distance to several excellent restaurants Our hosts were terrific & clearly cared about their customers; nothing was too much trouble including tea & homemade biscuits whenever we returned to the B & B Breakfast was always homemade & very very good.

I love our stay at B&B Saint Louise. The owners are really friendly and welcoming. Instead of traveling, I felt like I got to visit my grandparent in other city. I would definitely try to stay there again if I plan to go back!!

We could here voice from outside sometime but it is still acceptable. There is nothing else that I didn't like.

The hosts were fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. They made you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious. The fresh juice and snacks were unexpected and really appreciated. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again.

There is no central air conditioning. We were told they tried to have it put in, but the contractor said they couldn't install it. Thank goodness for the window air conditioner in our room (but it was noisy).

The hosts are adorable! They are very friendly and welcoming, but do not interfere with your stay. They speak French fluently but also are able to communicate in English. Guests are free to come and go as they please and are given their own key to their room and also the main front door. The breakfasts varied each day and were made in-house with fresh ingredients. I would say they were exceptional and served elegantly. The location in the old part of the city was ideal and safe. It was a short 5-minute walk to the visitor center where the tours are purchased and to the Hotel Frontenac.

It was clearly stated that the room was on the third floor and that there was a shared bathroom so there were no surprises, but that is also why the room was relatively affordable. Just be aware of those conditions before you book your stay.
