We didn’t have breakfast as I need gluten free food so we brought our own food in and ate it in our room which was fine. The late checkout at 1100 was very much appreciated. Monday is apparently an evening when almost all Argentan restaurants are closed; fortunately there is a supermarket

Difficult to say. Location wasn’t pretty but very quiet at night and facilities were good for the price

Please don't be put off by a slightly tired exterior (decorators are working), this is a real find, it provides a decent quiet room, excellent evening meal , good breakfast with early start for onward travel, interesting town within walking distance or very short drive, and has good road connections,, dog friendly, all at sensible prices. Would definitely stay again.

Evening meal was delicious and good value. The hotel bar provided an added bonus. Receptionist was great as she handled a small group of English people who had very little French. The rooms were comfortable and we really enjoyed the choice at breakfast.

It took us a while to work out how to open the window blinds!

A bit out of town and the sound insulation of the building wasn't wonderful.Parts of France begin working quite early in the morning and I became aware of it.

Just the right distance to break my journey from port to destination. Comfortable and clean room, friendly staff, very good food evening and breakfast. Very agreeable stopover, close to the motorway.

Nothing to note at the hotel. My satnav was not all that helpful though. Might have been useful to know it is situated on a trading estate.

Easy to find despite being near a main road remarkably quiet

Nothing apart from eating beforehand if I had known there was my favourite type of restaurant next door a large Chinese restaurant I would saved myself and had Chinese food

I had a bath, which was a godsend after 6 hours on a ferry and 2 hours in a car.

My husband and son's room, they had had to jam 4 cards in to the room key card holder to get it to work and it was intermittent.

Cleanliness, good heating.

We had difficulty entering my room. After much delay, the staff gave me a different room.

Friendly hostess. Bar and restaurant. Good place for a stopover.

Great bathroom and super-comfortable bed. Looks to be recently refurbished, excellent location if you are arriving via Caen ferry at night and heading south (or to stop off on the way if you have an early ferry the next day).
