Friendly staff throughout our stay, spacious room, good wifi connection, some great restaurant options within walking distance (We especially loved Sahara and Sohl for their beautiful open-air dining environments)

We booked the room for 3 guests but only 2 towels/cutlery sets were provided. The restaurant next to the pool was one of the reasons we booked the hotel but they were out-of-stock on so many items everyday during our 10-day stay. Therefore, besides the buffet breakfast, it was not a convenience to have the onsite restaurant. Laundry room was used by hotel staff for washing/drying towels so we were having to check 4-5 times/day to see if the machines were finally available for our use. Surely the hotel has their own machines to use to ensure the guests have access to the two washers/dryers they advertise?

Room was comfy ,clean and spacious. It had a sink, microwave and fridge too. I like that, very helpful. Wish there were plates and knives too, so that we could cut our fruit.Also a hand towel. We stayed at Oakwood Ho chi Min, they provided all that and more even. I enjoyed the spacious rain shower and spacious bathroom that had big bottles of soap, handsoap and shampoo. I liked the free flow of filtered water . Good to have iced water downstairs in lobby and the DIY Starbucks corner. Excellent idea. Bed was comfy and clean. Room and lobby smelt fresh and clean. Great location too. Easy to walk to 7 11 convenience store, and some food options nearby. Small Grocery store and pharmacy across the road. A nice groc store a block down.

The hotel is on a busy four-lane road, but the noise doesn't carry much to the higher floors. Good connections from the centre by bus (stop is in front of the hotel) or metro (10 min. walk). Staff is attentive, room facilities good, bed comfortable, wifi reliable, two lifts, small fridge in room. Swimming pool, good choice for breakfast, there is a nonstop 7/11 shop next door.

The hotel looks better in some of the photos than it actually does, but overall it was good. Could do with some maintenance/repair in some cases - e.g. the outside facade of the balconies, possibly the shower in the bathroom. The breakfast is more for Malaysians and Indian, its variety but there is something for Europeans as well, sometimes there was chaos at breakfast. There were many people swimming in the pool dressed in what they came in, which is not exactly the most hygienic thing to do, so we preferred not to swim.

I recently stayed at Oakwood Hotel, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, the welcoming atmosphere and set the tone for my stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. They went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, making me feel right at home.

The room I stayed in was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had restful nights throughout my stay. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities. The location of hotel was another major plus. It’s conveniently situated near popular attractions, shopping, and dining, making it easy to explore the area.

big spacious suite rooms with oven and all the necessary cutleries. rooms were clean and they cleaned our room everyday. breakfast was good. great value for the money but most of the items were repeated everyday nothing was changed much. location was the best thing about this property. its right on jalan ampang and this road has everything to offer on both sides. its also very close to klcc.

the key cards are very old and sometimes they dont work in the lifts or the doors. you have to try multiple times. they are also not touch based but you have to insert the whole card. maybe older technology. this is something they can work on.

Friendly and Attentive Staff. 5. Good Amenities. 7. Beautiful decorations. Overall, my stay at this hotel was thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations in every aspect.

1. The air conditioning system could benefit from an upgrade for more consistent performance, as it was not working effectively at cooler temperatures. 2. It's advisable to book in advance for weekend stays, as extending your stay upon request at the desk may not be possible due to high demand. 3. While breakfast includes a variety of options, adding more choices that cater to international tourists and reducing the oil content in some dishes could enhance the experience. 4. Ensuring the milk in the self-service Starbucks machine is regularly checked and replenished would improve the quality of this amenity.

The rooms are large and comfy with lots of storage, which was especially great 'cause we stayed there for 2 weeks. Nice large bathroom, too. The hotel has a good pool and gym, the latter having solid Technogym equipment. But I would specifically like to compliment the staff (at the reception, the guards and those in the breakfast area): they are so kind and helpful, a big thank you to them for making our stay extra great!

The breakfast could have more variation. It was more obvious to us, since we were staying for a rather long period. If you're staying only a couple of nights, it should be diverse enough.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for the cost of a few nights stay. A large room with comfortable furnishings, a nice bed, big TV with several channels, a microwave oven and well-stocked kitchen, and in proximity to shopping, restaurants and transport. I walked into central KL three times and caught the MRT back to a nearby station. The pool was large enough to allow lap swimming to cool off. Across the road is a 7-11 store and a super market. The hotel is also secure and clean. The breakfast offered local and western variety. The staff were friendly and helpful with all inquiries. With no other buildings around it appeared that all rooms had a view.

The hotel is 4 star and offers quite a lot for a lower price at that standard. The tariff was very reasonable. It is located nearby a district of foreign embassies, with a lot of police presence and expatriate accommodation. So a safe area. There is nothing I could complain about.

great breakfast spread with 1.5m deep clean pool. the staffs were excellent and the rooms were clean. had no issues with the lift; fast and efficient. the single beds were huge and comfy, definitely a plus. mesh internet connectivity for the room; getting about 400mbps.

connection from parking to lobby is via stairs. it's ok if you remember to drop elderly, kids and/or spouse at the lobby first. smoking guests are a nuisance. there's an open bar next to the pool so guests treat it like a pub. while the kids are swimming, there's a guest puffing away at the deck.

The room is very spacious and location wise is convenient . The housekeeping attendant by the name of Mr. Ram was very helpful and courteous. The Front Desk staff should be a better example but I was disappointed. No greetings whatsoever when the guests were in and out of the building

I have found a German cockroach on the table. Upon reaching the front desk there were 2 staff behind the counter. 1 was attending 4 guests and another staff was on mobile phone. I stood there in front of the counter unnoticed. I was invisible. No greetings despite he was on the phone and not attending anyone.
