Staying at Fattoria Terranova was a dream come true. I feel so lucky. The place utterly exceeded all my expectations. It’s sometimes hard to commit to a week in a place when you’ve never been there before, but I wish we’d had two. Definitely the most relaxing place we stayed in. We stayed in “Limone” apartment, with a king bed and 2 singles for the children in an alcove in another room. It was very clean, great firm mattress, a super air-conditioner which was such a relief in the hot weather, and plenty of space. There was a huge terrace with comfortable chairs and an outdoor kitchen with incredible views of the land and sea. We were so relaxed and well taken care of, with friendly and efficient daily housekeeping. The kids loved the pool – a short walk through sumptuous gardens, where you brushed past so many beautiful plants with fragrant aromas – rose, lavender, lemon verbena, rosemary and more – and olive and oak trees. It was like a Garden of Eden! There were chickens and turkeys to see, and we loved waking up in the morning hearing the cockerels call (and a nearby donkey!). The pool was small, but spotless and a refreshing temperature with sun loungers in the shade. Drinks service and a golf cart back to the room were available (and my kids loved their golf cart ride). The restaurant was heaven. Fattoria Terranova prides itself on local and sustainable food, cooked with passion, and it was true. Every morning we had an incredible and abundant buffet breakfast with a delectable selection of house-made pastries and tarts, fresh eggs cooked to order, and fresh coffee and juices. The restaurant looks beautiful, a series of little outdoor covered terraces, with plants growing all, and flower plants on the table, so it feels like you are eating right in the garden. (but no bugs or mosquitos at all!). Our dinners were spectacular, and the chefs obviously care greatly about their products. Delicious tubbetone past with sweet onion sauce, veal ossobuco, gnocchi,

The location was amazing for views and the property was beautifully kept. You would probably want your own car though, as roads are very tiny, twisty and steep and taxis from nearby towns like Sorrento or Marina del Cantone are expensive. You'd also need a car to get to a beach. Make sure to rent a SMALL car for parking and roads :)

The staff was wonderful, super friendly. We upgraded to a deluxe room and had a delightful day hanging out on our terrace overlooking the beautiful view. It was super relaxing lounging in our large room. We strolled the gardens above and loved the view of both the bay of Naples and the Tyrrhenian Sea a minute walk from our room. The ambience of the restaurant was charming; lots of plants mixed in with hanging bouquets of dried garlic, braids, and dried flowers. The food was excellent. It was a 15 to 20 minute walk to the bus stop that took us to the Amalfi coast where we spent the day in Positano.

I love climbing steep hills but some folks might not so much. It was a good workout getting to our room.

Beautiful setting and beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea from high above. Rooms were very large and well outfitted. Staff very friendly and willing to help. We drove there but chose to take a taxi to Positano and another to return. €120 each way but worth it not to have to drive there because the road there and even in Positano was pretty crazy. Little parking. The hotel arranged the taxi for us.

Too many steps to go down to the pool - 5 banks of stairs. No pool towels were available either day so we had to take our towels from our rooms which meant we didn’t have dry towels for showers. They do have a golf cart to drive you around the property if you need it We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was absolutely delicious. Service on the first night was outstanding but the second night service was not great.

Our stay at this accommodation was nothing short of spectacular! The venue itself was beautiful, offering amazing coastal views that took our breath away. We had booked dinner in advance, and were so pleased with the friendly service and delightful food. The meals were delicious and the staff made us feel right at home. While the wifi was a bit spotty in some places, this was understandable given the different levels throughout the property. It didn't detract from our experience at all. The owner was courteous and accommodating, even offering to take us down to the pool and back again using their golf cart. This level of service was greatly appreciated and made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool was clean, warm, and provided incredible views. It was the perfect place to relax. They even brought us pool towels, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was plentiful, and the personalized omelettes they made for us were amazing.

A tip for other travelers: make sure to ask for directions and avoid relying solely on Google Maps. It took us down a steep, narrow country road to the back of the property, where we almost got stranded. Following the road signs is definitely the better option. The roads are quite narrow, but once you speak to reception, they'll guide you to the best place to park, which isn't easy to find otherwise. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to enjoy beautiful views, great food, and exceptional service.

Spectacular views, with a very spacious apartment and excellent food onsite. You almost have to pinch yourself, looking out over the bay from high on the hillside. The staff were very helpful. The washing machine was a big bonus for us, on a long family trip.

There was some confusion around our booking and it was hard to get a clear answer (as each of the staff gave us a different opinion). The pillows are really hard but that seems to be an Italian phenomenon - we've found that everywhere. You need to know it's a moderate long (and hilly) walk to the nearest village, but that's part of the beauty of it.

Staff and main building were excellent. The restaurant and reception area are both beautiful. The food was also fantastic - we ate there for breakfast lunch and dinner!

The room was good, but we had thought we were getting a balcony (our fault for not checking properly) and there wasn't one. The room was also advertised as having a great view of the pool, but we definitely couldn't see one from our room. I think it was still closed as we visited very early in the season (March) and much of Sorrento is still prepping for the summer season.

We liked the rooms we stayed in, clean, spacious, suitably equipped. Amazing, beautiful location. We loved breakfast, plenty of variety. Great bathroom, clean & bright , a good shower. Loved the pool.

A regular shuttle bus from the hotel into Sant'Agata would have been very useful. The outside areas were big , but looked tired. Everywhere needed some attention to make it look more presentable. The food in the restaurant was too expensive for us, so we ate in Sant'Agata most nights. When guests were in the room next to ours we could hear them using the bathroom & also their dog barking, which we did report to reception. Overall a great stay, but some areas need updating & tidying.

The staff, the breakfast, the room, the view, the pool area was soooo nice. We will definitely come back. We brought some stuff in the nice shop as well and it gives us such good memories. And we follow them on Instagram as well, so glad to re-experience them there.

We have nothing to complain about. You have to enjoy driving on curvy narrow roads to get there. And maybe try to arrive when it is not completely dark, it probably helps.

This place is amazing, owner operated, well organized and clean, beautiful flowers decorations everywhere, owner Luigi and his family and staff are always welcoming, we experience a stay for two night’s, the location its a bit high in the mountains, its more like a nice and peaceful relaxing place to stay, but if your plan is to explore Sorrento, and Capri, it will take you like 25 minutes each way, we experience their restaurant, food was very good, the rooms need a extra air conditioning since they use split Air conditioner, one is in the main room, but is you have someone sleeping in the sofa bed they are on their own, it is fresh at night but you can’t leave your windows open because they don’t have screen panels to prevents the bugs and they are so many of many species there lol, there was a wedding that was amazing decorations, this is very recommended, staff is very friendly, we will miss you Terranova.

During the whole stay in Fattoria Terranova - it felt like we are in some Italian movie - the property is so beautiful and the staff is very hospitable and helpful :) It is a perfect place to stay if you wish to explore Amalfi coast. There is a scooter rental Sorental 20 mins walk from the property - it is the best way to explore nearby cities and beaches :) The room had amazing view and the bed was the most comfortable we ever slept in. It is also very convenient that there is a restaurant on the property where you can have lunch or dinner - try octopus (it is delicious). Breakfast buffet was very tasty as well.
