We were really satisfied with the way the staff treated us. Everybody was always nice and helpful, always smiling and ready to solve any problem. I really liked the vegan option at breakfast. Public transportation is pretty close as well as supermarket.

Our first room was great except for the fact that the door was not closing/locking properly. Amazing receptionist helped us, checked the problem and gave us a new room. Which had a working door and was nice and clean. But the AC/heater was broken, window was not closing properly therefore the room was pretty cold and also there was a lot of noise from the street/cars passing by. But the main thing for us was safety and properly locked door. Receptionist gave us a space heater which solved the cold. Overall problems that occurred were solved by a friendly staff! :)

A good English breakfast was included in the price of our room. The room was comfortable and relatively clean. The quiet atmosphere was a highlight, as we did not experience any annoying noise from other guests or the motorway next to our window, which was much appreciated. The staff were super friendly, and as we stayed on Christmas Day, they had small presents for the kids under the tree, food for the reindeer and chocolates for Christmas Eve.

My only concern was the parking charge, which was quite expensive for our week-long stay. I would prefer the parking fee to be included in the room price, as it is in other Holiday Inn hotels we have visited in the past.

Staff were friendly and approachable. We had a one year old with us and we found the staff to be very accommodating when it came to cutlery and cups ect for him. The room was clean and tidy but extremely small. We had a double bed, double fold out bed and a travel cot. When I say there was a foot of space then all the beds connected up to the window wall, it was like playing the floor is lava getting across the room with four of us. I'm pleased we weren't in the room for long we were out and about during the day but in the evenings after showers ect before bed it was very difficult navigating the room with next to no floor space and a toddler wanting to roam. Our teenager loved it lounging on the bed settee and kept himself out of the way. Overall we had a pleasant stay and we'd happily return in the future especially when our toddler won't need a travel cot so we would have extra floor space.

How small the family room is.

Holiday Inn Express hotel at Chingford is located a little far from the central city of London. But this place is well accessible by busses (W11,158,97 )from the nearest underground rail station Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow central station. Holiday Inn Express hotel has a very good ambiance and room for a peaceful stay. The beds were very cozy and comfortable. The hotel is very very close to a big supermarket Sainsbury where you can get everything that is needed during your stay . The hotel serves good and hot breakfast everyday which gives you a good start for the day. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and available for any assistance required. Overall I would say this is a good place for stay.

We stayed in hotel For more than six days and the breakfast menu was the same all the days. Variety in the breakfast menu would have definitely added value to our stay.

Location was great right next door to sainsburys, hotel was comfortable and staff we're friendly and helpful & breakfast was also excellent with a good variety to choose from . If like us you are not driving they also have a direct line to the cab office and it will cost you only £8 for a family of four to get to Walthamstow central which will bring you into central london or wherever you want to go including all airports . I would definitely stay again when visiting London because it's cheap and cheerful and a fraction of the cost of staying in the city !

I would probably like a bigger more spacious room for a family of four but otherwise there wasn't anything else I would find fault with . We had a pleasant experience staying here and would definitely stay again when visiting London !

The room was quiet and I easily achieved a comfortable temperature. The bathroom worked well. The room was a nice size and I had everything I needed, such as desk, TV, kettle, iron, etc. There was ample parking, which you do have to pay for, but my 12 hour stay only cost £7. Evening Meals are provided, from a limited menu, but the Pizza I chose was surprisingly good. However, if you arrive around five there is a Food Court next to the big Sainsbury's across the car park where more food choices will be available. The Supermarket will be useful as well.

Breakfast, this FREE but fairly limited. Only 4 hot items were available, but as I don't eat meat the bacon and sausages were out. Now I see that I could have ordered vegetarian options. Electric sockets were provided but in odd positions on the floor, or by the desk. There were no sockets around the bed.

The size of the room was really good with a pull out sofa aswell so I could relax on something other then the bed when I got back to the hotel. Bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. Plenty of space to hang to fold clothes away. Air conditioning!! When I stayed the temp hit 30 and the air condtioning was like heaven!!

No plugs next to the bed only USB ports,I have a micro USB for my phone so I had to plug my phone in at the desk,nothing major to be fair,but would have preferred the option.

The location was great. It was close to the bus station and a. Supermarket. The breakfast was great and had nice options. Would recommend adding pancakes or crepes.

The price was very high. I needed to add another room and the staff was able to accommodate us. I was taken back by the price. Looking at booking the next day, the rooms were £150 cheaper. The shower dials were confusing and the water is extremely hot. The shower basin didn’t drain and filled with water.

very large room, nice view, there was secure parking, although if your not familiar with this hotel, the payment meter is located just inside the doors and not in reception like most. If you need a VAT receipt for the car park choose email not text receipt. Breakfast was buffet levels were good and staff efficient.

staff appeared under pressure at reception as trying to run bar, take food orders and check people in at same time. Entrance to car park not clear in the dark, there are electronic gates from the supermarket car park which don't open and confusing.

The personel was absolutely amazing. Very understanding and kind. Every time we needed something extra we could just ask and they would deliver. Absolutely fantastic.

The cleaners. There where a few times where the cleaners didn't do their job in my opinion. Didn't make the bed. Didn't provide us with more toilet rolls hence the asking at the front desk which isn't a problem per se. But my girlfriend got on her time of the month during our stay and a got blood on the douvet and bedsheets. Us expecting it would just get cleaned we didn't mention it. When we came back the same day the beds where made. But the douvet and bedsheet didn't get swapped out. Had to ask at the front desk for a douvet and bedsheet myself. Thankfully the staff there was amazing and understanding.
