The apartments are new and very well furnished. There was a washer-drier in the room and there was a cleaning kit with 1 pod to use (but it was big so I used it for 2 washes). The bathroom has shower with great water pressure and toilet has built in shower too, loved it. Wifi was great, quick and stable. Apartment was big, spacious, comfy. Living room and bedroom have separate heating systems so that was nice. Blackout curtains were great and so were the windows - it is above street and across 3 bars but when windows are closed, you can't hear anything. Location was very good, easy to walk to Guggenheim, Casco Viejo, and nearby funicular. Would recommend to families and travellers who need to combine work in their schedule (and washing clothes).

Sound isolation from the hall is not the best. If somebody is sleeping on the couch in living room, they can easily hear talking in the hall. (The bedroom has great additional doors, so that is not the issue there. ) The apartment we stayed in had a funny smell which caused me to have problems breathing, but since others were ok, I am adding it to the allergies list. Next door apartment didn't have the smell so I guess it has to do with that particular apartment (103).

We were very happy with our decision to stay at Abba Suites. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I slept through the night every night and I don't even do that at home. The room was very quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. The location was great for our needs. We wanted to be near the Guggenheim, a market, some cafes, and within walking distance of Ribera Market. Most of all we liked Indira, who was kind, knowledgeable, and very accomodating. We are thankful for all her assistance, as well as that of the rest of the friendly staff.

The apartment was spotless and really spacious. They let us check in early as our room was ready but if it hadn't been then lockers are provided on site to allow for luggage to be dropped off pre-check in. The staff were really helpful. The apartment itself was really well located, just by the river. About a 10 -12 minute walk to the old town and on the edge of the new town. We didn't use the cooking facilities more than once but they had everything you needed. And great shower. Really recommend.

Struggling to think of anything here. Some milk sachets to go with the coffees in the machine would have been great. But thats a nice to have.

Very nice apartment, really nice and new, very well equipped kitchenette with lots of details for a comfortable stay. We were gladly surprised by the cleanliness and so new. Nice furniture and design. Very helpful and friendly staff at the reception desk.

I never received the access code and I sent a whatsup and email to the number and address provided and I never received a response. Luckily the afternoon staff arrived and gave us the codes to access our room. Unfortunately, the room views were quite poor to an ugly courtyard

The staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. Easy check-in and check-out. The apartment is cosy, spacious, clean, comfortable and very safe. Modern, new and high tech facilities. Complete with all the basic amenities for a very cosy stay during a very cold winter spell. Location is great, easy access to local attractions, old town as well as the viewpoint. Highly recommended and value for money. Will definitely return if visiting Bilbao again.

Hotel is pretty close to main destinations in Bilbao - you can reach all of them by walking. Nice quiet location with public parking around (you have to pay - you can use an app). Room was nice with a large terrace. Bathroom was nice as well with top of the line amenities.

Aircon was switching off everytime the room door or the terrace door was opening. I understand the goal of this but it was quite uncomfortable to keep switching the A/C on continuosly, especially as we were a few people in the room, so with a lot going on. Maybe it would be nicer to have a timer associated to this function?

The hotel is in a convenient area of central Bilbao, we could easily walk to all the central sights, and to the Metro and bus links. The reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. Everything was very clean and in good order. The beds were comfortable. There is a very small underground parking publico just nearby under another hotel.

Just one thing, getting out of the lift into a dark, unlit corridor! The lights do come on automatically but you have to take a few steps into the dark first, unnerving.

The City Centre Bilbao Abba Suites was a fabulous stay - a perfect aspect near the beautiful river, the funicular, the Guggenheim, an good walk to the big markets. We also had Barik cards - so cheap to use to get to the beach, on trams, buses, trains - and also on to Donostio (San Sebastian). We'd been travelling for a while so really appreciated having the space to stretch out and facilities to cook a couple of meals. We extended our stay by a day and the staff were very helpful, so polite and obliging. The room cleans were exceptional!

Not much really - the air-con worked and wasn't centrally controlled around seasons.

Great location. Only ten minutes walk from the Guggenheim and the old town. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. They provided a little bag with mini washing up liquid, a dish washer tablet, a sponge and cloth for the kitchen and toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The view wasn't great from our room. It was just of the wall next door. Also, the doors were quite loud when people came and went from their rooms so could hear it in the middle of the night sometimes.

Location was brilliant. Short walk from Guggenheim/bus stop/tram stop/city centre...and don't forget the funicular railway! Good little bar/restaurant directly opposite and small supermarket a block away. Don't forget to buy a "Barik" card for very cheap access to all the city's public transport system (metro, bus, tram....and the funicular railway.) You only need one card to share between a group of people.

Small criticisms:- electrical cords from coffee maker and kettle not long enough to reach the plug socket easily. Wardrobe door will not open fully - hits main access door closing mechanism. Both of these could be fixed.
