Absolutely amazing place. There were reindeers passing by in front of our cottage and it made our stay. We were also lucky with very sunny weather, therefore we could eat outside and enjoy the surroundings (the view is out of this world and the area is very secluded and quiet). The cottage was fully equipped (kitchen with all the utensils, hairdryer in the bathroom, linens and towels etc) and quite big (definitelny enough for 4 people). Everything was very clean.

The sofa bed in the living room wasn't the most comfortable, but after all it's a sofa bed, so we didn't expect too much :)

The cottage is really lovely and the mountain view in front of the house is amazing. We arrived late at night but the process of checking in was easy. We are group of family (6 people) and there are 2 bedrooms and 1 sofa bed which is suitable for us. The bedsheet in under the sofa bed (at first we cannot find it but it is kept tidily). There are also 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining area and area in front of the house that we can sit to see the beautiful view with fresh air outside. The host is kind and supportive.

The bathroom door and bedroom door is a bit difficult to close and open.

We stayed at multiple locations during our Iceland trip. These were the cutest cottages of all. It felt like we were in the middle of no-where, just nature all around , yet the place was easily accessible from the main road. Do not miss visiting the beautiful waterfall right behind these cottages. It was very windy during our stay , so we couldn't walk around, but the location was beautiful. Cottages were small, yet comfy. Small kitchenette had a few dishes and a sink which is very handy to have. The small space was organized and arranged keeping our comfort in mind. We had breakfast here, it would have been quite basic if not for the freshly made fried eggs and bacon. Then again keep in mind that we are in Iceland , not in any all-inclusive resort. Nothing is wasted , only what we need is provided ( I wish the rest of the world followed this norm !)

That was one of my favourite accommodations I've stayed at in Iceland! Such a stunning location! I'd stay there for a few weeks just relaxing and starring at those mountains and the ocean. We had incredible views and deers right in front of our cottage! Also the girl at reception has let us stay a bit longer because of the road closure when we got stuck for 4 hours. That was really nice! I can't describe how beautiful the place was. I'd stay there again.

The bathroom didn't have a lock and when there was a gale, the toilet door was opening on it's own, which was a bit awkward :))) Also took me a while to figure out how to connect the wifi, as you have to wait until it will come up in the list. Nobody replied to me when I messaged about that problem. But apart from that everything was absolutely perfect! :)

The location was amazing and the reception and dining was better than we expected. The outside doesn't give an indication of how nice it is inside! We were told there was no dining there, and ate dinner elsewhere, so it should be advertised in the listing that meals are available. Breakfast was very nice. You could prepay, which we didn't know, or pay that day.

At first it was a little confusing, but I called the phone number and they told us the house number. It was unlocked, the keys were inside. Once we got the house, it was phenomenal. Beautiful location, gorgeous views, nice large windows to enjoy the view.

I guess the only thing would have been nice if they told us our house number in the email. But we did book late in the day, so maybe that was our fault - that they didn't have time to communicate that information to us. Once I called and got the house number, it was exceptional.

The little cottage was very cute. We arrived late in the evening and the key was lying in the house. It is a simple small cottage with normal standard rooms. The kitchen was very small and there is no oven. However, everything was there to make a simple meal. The location is very nice and comfortable to travel in the east.

The bathroom was a bit cold.

Cozy location, well cleaned cabins and clear instructions for everything. We arrived in the dark and were woken up to the most amazing view of the valley! Bonus points for the portable stove so you could actually cook some food :)

Cabins could be updated and get a coat of paint because you could tell that there was some old water damage to the surface at places. But this is a minor detail!

Think about a lovely wooden cabin by the fjords... That's what it is! Amazing views and surroundings, quiet area. They simply left the door open and keys inside. Simple. It's a very safe in the area. Perfect place to rest for a couple of days during our Ring Road trip around Iceland.

Not that it was a real problem, but be aware that after three showers in a row, water would not come out warm. We had to plan when each of the 6 of us were taking a shower.

It is very thoughtfully equipped, well maintained, clean place. Wide open spaces, privacy were added features. Stalk was very responsive, helpful and supportive.

We liked everything. Just that car parking was away from the cottage and carrying baggage between our car and cottage was a little difficult.
