The hotel was very cosy, it felt like you was at home with the dim lighting during the evening/night and the soft carpeting. Our room was lovely and the bed was massive. It was very cute having different themes for the room, me and my partner had a fox theme and my parents had a bee theme. The host was extremely friendly and sweet and made us feel welcomed from the start and helped us with any questioned we had The breakfast in the morning was excellent, the sausages were amazing. Was also lovely to have their fresh honey from their bees, the honey was sweet and so smooth. Overall the hotel and the company we had was outstanding. 100/10 recommend and will be going back.

Only a 15 minute drive from RSPB Minsmere and an easy walk into the centre of Yoxford. Although close to a Main Road, and in a front room, the traffic noise was not a problem. My room was beautifully decorated and kittted out with coffee machine (coffee & hot chocolate pods provided) plus real milk and a bottle of cold water in the mini-fridge. The bathroom and walk-in shower was spacious and modern, with toiletries provided. Kirsty, the owner, was welcoming, friendly and professional. She gave advice on where to go for an evening meal and a local walk. The choices for breakfast were great and included local produce - I’ll have to go back again to try them all out!

Perfect in so many ways. Kirsty was so welcoming: not only being very friendly but running everything so smoothly it felt very relaxing to stay at Copperbeech. I loved all the quirky decor and really appreciated the practical touches: fresh milk in my little fridge in my room (as well as chilled water), nice walk in rainfall shower with additional handset, chairs for putting stuff on, being able to drop my bags off late morning, Varied and yummy vegetarian breakfast with homemade preserves and honey. I’d definitely go back when I want to be in that lovely part of Suffolk. I had a room with a garden view so it was quiet with the windows open on a warm night.

Not staying long enough.

The welcome from the host, the easy parking, the quietness, cleanliness and size of the rooms, the extra touches like fresh milk and water in a little fridge, the comfortable bed and walk-in shower. In addition, the breakfast was fantastic. A big choice of buffet and cooked items. The full English was huge and delicious, the vegetarian version equally so. There was homemade jam and marmalade as well as honey from their own hive - all of which could also be purchased to take home, which we did.

Absolutely nothing.

A friendly and welcoming host. The owner/host, Kirsty, made sure I had everything I needed during my stay and even allowed me to pre-order my (delicious) breakfast, as I had an to leave early after an overnight day for business. The room I stayed in had everything I needed, including a comfy bed, great shower, coffee machine facilities and small fridge. Highly recommend as a place to stay for business or family leisure. The homemade honey available to sell was a bonus too.

Everything that one could need was supplied in the room, and the breakfast was excellent. I particularly appreciated that unnecessary plastic waste was avoided; milk was in a jug in a fridge in the room and jam, marmalade, etc were in little bowls rather than plastic pots.

The only drawback is the location, which on a rather nasty bend in the road. So going in and out of the drive was a bit stressful. But they cannot do anything about this, and there was plenty of parking space.

We visited the Copperbeech B&B due to its close proximity to RSPB Minsmere, NT Dunwich and Thorpeness/Aldeburgh which we visited during our stay. Although other hostelries might have been available, I was particularly attracted by the breakfast reviews. Oh my word ….were they spot on ! Kirsty puts on an amazing spread which went down very well. Smashing. The room was clean, comfortable, well presented and in an excellent state of repair (No faults found!). So well done to Kirsty and John for the hard work that have put in to make the Copperbeech B&B a great visit. PS. Walk up the road and visit "Yoxman" via the public footpath. You wont be disappointed.

This is intended as a observation not a dislike. The A12 runs outside the Copperbeech and even this far east, its quite busy at certain times of the day (Rush hour in rural Suffolk!!!). As we had a road facing room, we did notice some road noise until we closed the effective double glazed windows. However, it all quietens down later on and our nights sleep was not disturbed. If this might bother you, see if a garden facing room is available.

We love staying at Copperbeech so much we went back and guarantee we’ll definitely be back again. Rooms are all clean, comfortable and recently decorated in very modern styles. Breakfast is delicious and the choice is huge with something for everyone from cereal, yoghurt and fruits, continental to full English. Kirsty is an amazing cook and everything is locally sourced, fresh and served piping hot. Sat bang on the A12, the location is easy to find and perfect for exploring the beautiful nearby resorts of Aldeburgh, Southwold and Thorpeness. So much time and effort has been put in to Copperbeech by Kirsty and John to make your stay welcoming, comfortable and relaxing you too will love staying here.

Kirsty was very welcoming and attentive to all the guests and myself present at the B & B. The bedroom was immaculate and much thought had gone into its design. This included little touches ,for example, providing milk in school size milk bottles rather the distasteful little sachets of milk. The breakfasts were carefully crafted and Kirsty enjoyed producing a great breakfast. The property was very convenient in its location for beautiful ranges of differing natural environments including, woodland, heath, marshland ,beach and shingles.

Nothing to dislike

Well designed bedroom and smart en-suite shower room, with practical features such as coat hooks and shelves in useful places. Excellent breakfast, served on a table that was plenty large enough for two.

The B&B is on a fairly busy road, tricky to cross on foot in order to explore the rest of the interesting village. But that is pretty minor, I'm really struggling to think of anything negative.
