Perfect location walking distance to CBD, and nearby nice places to eat in Darling Harbour as well. Not a particularly noisy area either, or at least good noise insulation at the hotel; I slept very soundly! The rooms were clean and very well-appointed (e.g., Dyson hairdryer, coffee pod machine as well as kettle, clothes steamer). The downstairs restaurant is also great and does a fantastic coffee.
My only negative piece of feedback is that the (King bed) rooms were fairly small; I was traveling solo and struggled to find space to open both a carry on and a big suitcase. I expect it would have been quite a bit more difficult if I'd been traveling with my partner. That wouldn't stop me from using the Hotel again if traveling solo, but it would lead me to look into either bigger rooms or other options if I weren't.

I was so pleasantly surprised with our stay - the location was ideal to the star where we were going for a show, short stroll into Darling Harbour and only 10 mins into the main shopping area. The rooms were beautifully presented, small but perfectly sized for an easy stay. The shower was great and the products supplied great quality - the dyson hairdryer was a win for sure. Staff were so helpful and the eating area was comfortable and the food was great. Overall I can't recommend it enough, if you are looking for an easy location and know you'll be out and about all day this is the place for you
I have no complaints at all. Every need was met with a smile.

I loved the boutique feel of the hotel, very modern and chic, and an excellent location. The room was clean and had a nice balcony. Omberline at the front desk was absolutely amazing! She was always pleasant and helped suggest things to do. The food was very good and I had an overall lovely experience. As my first time visiting Sydney, I'd stay here again.
I think it would have been nice if breakfast was included in the stay and some of the wash cloths weren't the cleanest.

Very helpful staff. Nicole helped us book a day tour to Canberra the day after we arrived. The website did not give us a pickup location. So Nicole checked the tour site & gave us the location as Furama, depart 7:30 am. Oon Oct. 26. We were happy to be able to do the Canberra tour though it cost AUD $328 for 2persons on Oct. 26. No contact from the tour company until 7 am, Oct. 26 when we were waiting for the light rail arrival. Rude guide who didn't care about customers!
While Aiden staff did their best to come knock on our door to remind us of 6 am wakeup call, the tour company guide said pick up was at 7am & refused to wait for us. I emailed the tour company, "GetYourGuide" that there were no subsequent tour available to accommodate our time schedule as we were joining a cruise from Sydney on Oct. 28. The reply was no refund. So, apart from bad website information, we lost AUD $328 and 1 day vacation in Sydney. Very bad experience!

The Aiden was well situated for all of our needs. It was clean and tidy. The staff were excellent and answered all my questions. From the moment I was helped when I was lost finding the hotel I knew it was a good place.
All staff were wonderful and helpful the four nights I stayed there until the morning of my check out. I left at about 07.30 and my family member was checking out a few hours later. The girl who first met me at the check out was very rude and certainly did not show any professionalism as the rest of the team had for the four days prior. She did not acknowledge me and raised her eyebrows when I advised my family member was still in the room (check out time was available until 11). Another staff member assisted me with the computer check out who was very kind. I am unsure who the awful woman was but she really put a dampener on what was a fantastic stay. She needs to learn some good customer service skills.

Staying for 10 days at this hotel definitely made my trip fantastic. The strategic location allowed me to easily walk to Darling Harbour, the Fish Market, and the city. The surrounding area is filled with great food options, and the Pyrmont light rail stop is just a few minutes away. The hotel even provided us with free-flow sparkling water (self-service), which was a nice touch. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, making our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Staff were friendly, bar service/bartender was great. The rooms although small were extremely modern. Bathroom was beautiful. New appliances throughout, the soap and body wash smelt amazing. Almost purchased some when leaving. TV was great. Bed was comfy. No issues with the room itself. Great place for a couple spending the night out in Sydney.
Parking was non existent. $55 for a third party carpark with a discount. The dinner menu was quite lacking for a hotel. I would like to see some things expanded. No steak or simple mains courses. No where to pull up and take bags in. And no staff to assist people with luggage. The bar/foyer closing at 9.45-10 on a Saturday night in the middle of the city is disappointing. Should open until at least 12. But it was a modern hotel, with good staff and a great location, still enjoyed my stay.

The Aiden Best Western Darling Harbour was ideally located, a 5 minute walk to my conference at Doltone House. It is only 100 metres from the light rail, and a quick trip by Uber to Central Station. It is directly across the street from the Maritime Museum with excellent access to Darling Harbour. It has a restaurant/bar where you can get a meal, a drink or sit and work. Additionally, there are multiple coffee/dining options nearby, including a Coles supermarket. So it's great for the car-less traveller! The rooms are well provisioned with complementary coffee maker and pods, as well as hair dryer and iron. The decor is modern and well-finished. A good place for a short stay.
The rooms, my room at least, was very small. I estimate that the room was perhaps 2.4 by 6 metres. More like a cabin on a ship. The bathroom and shower space was generous and the fittings were modern and attractive. There's no room for a desk or chair so if you are on a working trip you have to work on the bed or in the lounge bar downstairs. At $300 plus per night I expected a bit more space, but for a single night it was quite tolerable.

The staff went out of their way to help me. The food was delicious. It was the little details in the room like the dyson hair-dryer and steam cleaner for my clothes that made it extra special. Had the best view of Darling Harbour from my room. I could change the pillow to suit my comfort. And most importantly, the coffee was perfect!
The fire alarm going off and evacuation, but that was not the hotels fault at all. They were very professional about the evacuation and re-entering of the building. Kept us informed of the situation the whole time.

Great location for catching a show at the Lyric Theatre and for walking around the Sydney CBD and Darling Harbour. The rooms are perfect - small but more than enough space, and the bathroom was great (even had a Dyson hairdryer!). The small bar/restaurant in the entry foyer was really lovely, and the staff were great. The hotel seems new and fresh, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. We had a room towards the back of the hotel, and it was nice and quiet despite being a central location.
Just needed one more towel, but I probably could have asked for one to be sent up.
