This was a low cost, near the train station hotel/option that I specifically chose. It was a very tiny room, but not at all inadequate. The purpose was for sleeping as I was sightseeing all day. Staff were on duty 24/7 and each person I spoke with was helpful and kind. TIP - several takeaways in the area for breakfast (within 3 blocks) and there is a lovely courtyard at the hotel with 3 tables to sit at. There is a self-service coffee machine/bar and snacks available for purchase. There is a room dedicated to luggage storage - we arrived at 8:30am and left our luggage there until 6:30pm without any issue. This is NOT a place for people in a wheelchair or with mobility issues - stairs are everywhere. Some small sets of stairs, 2-3 going down to a small hallway where 4 rooms are located and longer stairways to upper floors. Interesting - there are numerous outlets and USB chargers in the room. A single bed, small room, yet there were 6 electrical outlets and 4 USB chargers.

I suggest adding a dim light in the room or on the desk - there is a step up into the bathroom which is a bit hazardous in the dark. I realize this is an older hotel, yet I could hear the people next door talking - very thin walls. I put in my ear plugs and I was fine.

This is a very convenient hotel for Kings Cross/St Pancreas. We stayed following a trip by Eurostar. It's a collection of town houses so lots of windy stairs and rather old fashioned but clean and perfect for a one night stay. The guy on reception was friendly and helpful and the desk is open 24 hours. There are great restaurants nearby (try the Spagnoletti for great Italian).

There's no lift to the upper floors - it's mentioned in the small print but not highlighted - so if you have large cases or mobility issues, you need to specify a ground floor room.

Had a great stay at Crestfield. Reception persons were helpful and assisted with option to stay at their sister hotel when we returned after a few weeks holiday as the Crestfield was full on our return days. Great value for money for a short stay. Easy walk from Kings Cross/St.Pancras station. A couple of good Thai and indian restaurants close by.

Our room was on the lower (basement) floor so there was some sound from the underground trains. It was not loud enough to bother us or disturb sleep.. and offcourse there is nothing to Hotel can do about it....A tip may be to request a room above the basement.

We had a room with two single beds at the back of the hotel (quieter as there wre big construction works going on in the street at the front). There was enough space in the room for two people to move around comfortably. Happy to have a small kettle with free tea/coffee and free bottles of water. Glad there were two pillows on each bed. The shower was comfortably spacious and there was plenty of hot water/water pressure. Staff remembered greeted us each time we left/arrived.

We could have done with an extra towel (we received 2 regular and 1 small towel) and a bath mat for the floor of the bathroom, even if that wasn't cold and dried fairly quickly. There was no fridge in the room. The wash basin was very small (only a tiny shelf to put toiletries) and very low (reached to the top of my thighs). We didn't use the TV, the hair dryer, the safe, or the fan, so cannot say if those were any good.

I recently stayed at a hotel conveniently located just steps away from the railway station, making it an excellent choice for travellers. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly cozy, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The room was also pleasantly warm, although it was a bit too warm for my preference. Overall, a wonderful stay with fantastic convenience and comfort. Many thanks for the kind manager, very friendly and competent person - your help and assistance were greatly appreciated!

What I didn’t like much was the noise from the street, especially due to construction works during the day. It disrupted the otherwise peaceful environment, but this was not an issue for me personally, as I was out aduring the day.

The room and the hotel are exactly as advertised. Being in that prime location was most important for me during my stay and it delivered, a 3-5 minute walk away from Kings Cross Station was incredibly convenient for long days out adventuring or doing further international travel. Being a solo female traveler, I felt safe during my stay and the staff were very helpful with anything I needed or any questions I had - being my first time in London, i had a lot of them. The experience was great and again, the hotel is as exactly as advertised.

I think the pillows could be a bit more comfortable, and the room I stayed in didn't have a lot of airflow & no air-conditioning at all. I understand that this is to be expected for the price of the hotel, however given that it was summer and the weather was muggy for most of my time in London, it would've made the nights a little bit more bareable.

Needed somewhere to stay before an early Eurostar departure, and this is literally 5 minutes walk from the terminal - and I only have short legs! Friendly staff, comfortable bed.

This is not the hotel's fault, but there are some pretty major building works going on directly opposite. Obviously there was no noise there at night, but there were a lot of safety lights left on at the site overnight by the construction company; my room was at the front and so wasn't entirely dark. Perhaps bring an eye mask if you are susceptible?

The beds were comfortable and there were lots of hooks in the room to facilitate convenience of hanging bags, air out small outfts. The temperature was comfortable. Location was excellent to get to the King's Cross Station to get a bite of food, travel to other places via tubes. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The shower floor threshold was pretty high and sharp. There were a couple of times we hit the edge of it and almost tripped or cut ourselves. We had to be very careful getting in and out of the shower. No lift. It would be nice to have a lift in the hotel to help with luggages.

Cosy room that was big enough for 2. The bathroom was small but we were very happy about it because it's really hard to find a bathroom that's not shared in London. The beds were good, the pillows were good. The staff was very friendly and after our request to keep the curtains closed during the day because of the heat, they did it without making an issue. When we asked for directions to a place where we could swim, a very nice staff lady printed it out for us and we had a nice chat. It was very clean, rooms were cleaned every day. There is a patio outside to have breakfast, a drink, or a smoke which was great. Very close to Euston station, king's cross/pancras station. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast which didn't bother us because there are lots of food options around. We stayed for 4 nights, the room was ready upon arrival and at the day we left there was the option to store our very heavy luggage. We were also allowed to have one last drink at the patio. We had a great stay and we would definitly stay there again. We recommend this hotel.

We knew there was no elevator but we were at the top of the building and it was quite a challenge to get our big luggage up. I advice not taking a large bag. The room was very hot (it's not their fault it was 32°C outside though) and the ventilator sadly wasn't enough to cool it down but like said, they took our request to heart when we asked to keep the curtains closed. Because of this hot weather we also missed a mini fridge and an airconditioning (maybe a portable one just for hot days)would've been great (but we also knew they had no AC, so there is nothing to complain).

Much better than expected. Really well appointed, clean and tidy. The room was just right for a single person 1 night stay (but even a few nights would have been good). No air con but the fan worked well so that was fine. TV worked fine, the mints and biscuits were welcome, and the small work desk was just right. Luggage storage for the day was handy too. The courtyard looked nice too.

The initial welcome was a little cool but the receptionist soon warmed up. The chair in the room was a little uncomfortable. A vacuum cleaner was left in the narrow corridor which could have been a hazard during a fire evacuation. Luggage storage could be more secure. Minor points which do not detract from what was a nice stay.
