The staff are friendly. As my luggage might be overloaded, the staff gives me a weight scale to solve my problem! Location is super good! It is just 5-10min walk from King's cross station. And it is very good in price! You cannot find any better option in London as it is really good deal. You can also store your luggage there for a while. One more thing is the have lift! So I do not have to climb the stairs with my suitcase, which is really nice and much better than the tube as the tube sometimes got so many stair for me to climb!

The room inside is too hot! The windows can only open a tiny gap. So, even it is cool outside, the cold air cannot enter the room and the building. Hope that the windows can be fully open so the ventilation will be better. The bathroom is tiny and just got 2 hooks for hanging inside, the more the better.

Lovely friendly hostel ideally located for Kings Cross train station. On the main road and next to a Co-op store which is very convenient. Staff are very nice and the room has individual lockers. It was extremely hot when I was there but we had a floor fan. The bed linens were crisp and fresh. Each bed has a dedicated light and charging socket with USB point. The breakfast was lovely with a big selection of foods. Cereals, yogurts, fruit, cheese, ham, breads, jams, fruit juices tea and coffee. Very nice refectory and a lounge and working space for internet. Connection was good. Seating area at the front looking into Gray's Inn road. I will definitely be back again.

Key cards don't work very well. Room 1 had only a tiny window in the glass skylight for ventilation. I have mixed feelings about paying £2 extra for a bottom bunk. Whilst I was extremely grateful to be able to request this, I don't think one should be charged more because you have a disability!

The rooms are super cramped and small, some privacy curtains would really help to remediate the lack of privacy. The cleanliness wasnt the best either, at no point my room was clean and the bathroom was a bit messy. My biggest concern was the lack of maintenance of the building infrastructure, the elevator was out of order and in the entire building I could only find 3 toilets for male usage but only one was really usable(one was out of service and another was constantly clogged and unusable)

This is a great hostel in a really convenient location, very close to Kings Cross-St Pancras. Staff were really helpful and friendly, and there is loads going on for guests so it would be brilliant if you wanted to socialise with others. Kitchen for self catering or hostel meals.

My friend found the bed uncomfortable. The lighting in the room wasn't great. Quite a bit of noise in the night from banging doors in corridors and shared facilities downstairs, doors separating those areas off were fixed open so sound and food smells went up to the rooms.

After reading previous reviews,I was worried..but there was nothing to complain about as far as hostel organization goes :) I got bottom bunk bed - and it was perfect dark hole to sleep in. Privacy, darkness even with the room lights on, reading light,charging socket+usb hole right above my head and the most comfortable blanket! Lockers also big enough for backpack or carry on. And the temperature in the room seemed alright, not too hot or cold. And I definitely recommend getting breakfast as well! I will miss those pancakes.. Overall - it all depends on the random 17people you get in your room with you. If you have considerate roommates that don't decide to reorganize their entire suitcase at 1AM, let their 4:30 alarm ring for 5minutes, or snore extra loudly the whole night, you will get a good sleep :)

Great location. Staff were very nice. The private twin we stayed in had a double bed on the bottom bunk.

The bathroom situation was worse than most hostels I have stayed in before. For the girls bathrooms I had to go down a floor, which I can accept. But the boys bathrooms were broken or full meaning my partner often had to make his way all the way down three floors to use the bathroom. The kitchen area was not chatty or lively, but I think the set up had potential to be good with the right people.

I liked the type of beds, when I look for a hostel, I try to get the most privacy as possible as I sleep, so these little cubes with a curtain or door on it are always great. There was also plenty of space in the provided lockers. I am quite short but I found the cubicle plenty big. The sink in the bedroom is also very appreciated for a quick face wash or tooth brushing. The kitchen is free for using, very well equipped and plenty of space. I didn't have breakfast there but I saw it quickly and it looked pretty decent.

The bed's curtain bar fell on me couple of times, I noticed other people having the same problem, they should be more sturdy. The shower's water was barely warm. I understand you don't wants us use much water, but it sucks to arrive to an almost a cold shower when it's freezing outside and after a long day of walking. The bedroom needed a bigger mirror, to check my clothes, it only had the sink's mirror. I needed to go to the entrance mirror, which is too public, or the bathroom's mirror that is pretty cramped.

The bed was firm, mattress covers n pillow casing were clean with no pests. There is a small basin in 4 in 1 female room w a metal box for us to lock our things inside so bring a lock. Toilets n bathroom were clean too.The staff were friendly n helpful too. Especially Adam a tall young man who is patient n he is details n thoughtful n kind to help a customer kept her 3 hardboil eggs n my hot flask that I left it outside the toilet. Adam is just amazing, attentive n his kind gesture delighted our day.

No hair dryer, have to charge for luggage storage. Room were quite small for 4 pax if you share w a stranger who threw everything on the floor occupying the walking space.

Repeat visitor and stay at CLINK261 and this is no coincidence. Having booked twice before, I knew very well what I was getting into and which of course did not disappoint. The location is second to none by being a five- to six-minute walk from St Pancras and King's Cross stations and this is especially important if you have a late arrival into the city. The facilities are just fine with clean bedding, clean bathrooms and excellent/friendly staff. The pricing as per London standards is excellent. I truly believe to have my accommodation for all future visits to London looked after thanks to Clink261.

The staff were active and helpful! The bed was not that bad but it was comfy as of its value. The location is prime where you are initially connected to major area within steps from bus stops and tubes.

I did not like how independence of the guests compared to the hostel I have been to. There are not much of activities and I did not know anyone new. The guests are mostly mixed of ages from teenagers to old uncles. Additionally, i highly suggested that you should buy a lock! My usb socket got stolen. Fortunately, i had the cable left. The staffs could do nothing. Thus, it’s not only in this hostel but it can happen anywhere. There are lockers where you can store your belonging safely. Therefore, don’t forget to buy a lock! However, my charger was on my bed; plugged into the socket. Fortunately, again, there is a usb socket. Thus, it’s quite handy when i only had a usb cable left.
