Position for Eurostar, canal walk & lots of other activities. The restaurant. Staff very friendly & seemed happy even late at night. Very convenient location. Nice terrace bar.

For your standard of hotel, it would have been nice to have had the first bottle of water on arrival on the house? Also with my early morning coffee or tea, I was looking for a cookie of some sort? Usually in hotels you are offered a small packet of 2 cookies on the coffee tea making tray each? Cookies can be bought wrapped in twos....! Another important fact, I was disappointed after having been to the theatre with my nephew & his girlfriend from Belgium, we w had a nightcap in your bar & wanted a few nibbles, but the kitchen had just closed! The time was 22.35pm,? I thought this country wants to boost the economy? London used to be the be the best capital in the world? All in all I enjoyed my stay. But next time remind me to buy some sandwiches when returning from a show?

Friendly and helpful staff at the hotel's reception. Perfect location for trips by train. We arrived from Edinburgh and stayed only a night before taking Eurostar. We had a free upgrade to a larger room. The room is pretty spacious with everything we need. Their bed is comfortable. I personally love the minibar's coffee. We appreciate the luggage storage after checking out.

We tried their bar restaurant on the 10th floor. The waiter was friendly but the receptionist was on the verge of getting on our nerves with her unwelcoming behaviour. When we saw the service charges on our bill, we really thought twice before paying...

I really enjoyed the front desk staff there was they were very attentive and helpful. The room was very spacious and a perfect with amenities in the room in addition to one of the best beds and pillows I’ve ever slept on at a hotel in London

The fact that almost every night, if not every night there was an event at the restaurant double standards and or the rooftop was either booked or close for a private event On Saturday I did want to attend the live DJ at the Mexican restaurant decima, but then I was told that it was closed for a private event, even though it doesn’t say that there was a private event and I already invited my friends to hang out there so that was quite disappointing

Lovely hotel ,very close to rail services and taxis ,room with a reasonable view of the city ,exceptionally clean ,very comfortable bed and good quality linen . had a a small snack in the Library cafe ,was VERY impressed that I got a good size teapot of tea.with REAL !! tea leaves !! and good quality tea ,also better for the environment best tea Ihave had in a hotel 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.the coffee was also delicious . Staff very friendly throught and very helpfull ..Would stay again ..🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Complimentry water in the room would be a nice gesture for the price of the room.. as it was only available from the mini bar .

I find it odd that a hotel of this quality and calibre does not supply a complimentary bottle of still water. there was a supplement charge. every hotel I stay in (even lesser quality) tends to supply one bottle as standard. I found it slightly irritating but enjoyed my stay and room nonetheless. there is water available to purchase in the mini bar.

The hotel is SO amazing. The location is the best of the city, as it's next to St Pancras station you can walk straight into the hotel when you get off the train. And you can get anywhere fast and back from here. The interior is beautifully designy but also cosy. All bars and restaurants are amazing. I love the breakfast in bed option, to be ordered the night ahead. My room had a bathtub overlooking St Pancras station and that was funny and amazing. I wish I had the colourful woolen blanket at home! The pour-over coffee set with Ozone coffee beans are great for coffee lovers.

The breakfast was not great this time, I ordered and açai bowl but it was completely melted. I'm sure this was a glitch because usually the breakfasts are amazing.

Spectacularly good. Been meaning to stay for ages - excited to finally see somewhere this strong open near KC/StP - and it exceeded expectations and reviews! Lovely room (maybe a wee bit dark and light controls both sides of bed would have helped) with superb facilities including really good large table for work, fantastic amount of storage, super-comfy bed, top notch shower and loads of space. Some cool touches too from the extras to the bathroom style. Fabulous design. Really exceptional food and drink offer and some great spaces - lots of them! - to work, relax, eat and drink. Reminds me of probs c20 years ago first visit to the original Soho Grand in NYC raised the bar for me in what design boutique hotels could be. As a business / leisure / design / all-round hotel this raises the bar for north London. And the best thing of all - amazing customer service. From leaving bags over a weekend to constant care and attention, responsive support, brilliant service and just the loveliest of people to greet and look after you.

I loved the overall styling of the hotel, the bars, lounge, evening entertainment location and the room view was amazing and space of the room. Staff were polite and helpful. I did receive two bottle of still complimentary water a packet of pretzels and marshmallows for my 50th Birthday welcome .

I didn’t like that an additional service charge is added to our room at the end of our stay. I asked to have this removed. We were asked if we had any special requests, we asked for a an early check in and a room with the clock tower view at the front of the building but this wasn’t met. Also I called reception to ask what was complimentary in the room, items such as water and face masks appeared on our pillow when we were out but it wasn’t clear to wether these were complimentary. So on departure our invoice was £0.00 balance but we were charged for mini bar items and I emailed to ask what the charge of £7 was for but have not received. a response.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything was excellent! The room was exceptional: modern, beatiful and comfortable. Bathroom was excellent, it had both a bathtub and a sepearate shower. Bathtub was a must for me on my trip and it indeed exceeded my expectatioons. 2 large mirrors with lights in the bathroom, 1 large well lit mirror in the area between the room and bathroom (at back of the WC door). Large comfroatble bed with 4 fluffy pillows. Room window can be opened if needed. TV with local channels as well as caste from device option which was appreciated. Staff were great, very friendly and very accomodating! Thanks to Amarachi! Breakfast was great! Coffee was exceptional! Thanka to Nicos!

I wish it wasn't so expensive

Our stay at The Standard was perfect! The room was really spacious with plenty of closet space, and the bathroom was also really large with a separate shower and tub. The water pressure was good and the hairdryer was really nice, as well. The quality of the room was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary. The location is ideal being situated at Kings Station so it is easy to access the trains as well as multiple metro lines to get around the city easily and there are so many good restaurants at your fingertips!
