Property was clean and the staff were friendly

The food in both the Pantry and the 15th floor restaurant was awful. Pantry: Caesar salad. Minimal lettuce, made very soggy by the fried hot spicy chicken and bacon that was thrown on top. The dish was further ruined by using processsed smelly dried Parmesan on top. Please employ a chef who knows how to make the basics. 15th floor restaurant: offers a chicken burger - and it was topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pineapple and mushroom sauce. The side was potato wedges topped with cheese and bacon. We asked for the chicken burger with salad on the side. Again, the “2 crispy chicken breasts” were slices that had been coated and burnt on a plancher grill. Just horrid.

Great location, spacious rooms incl. bathroom, sufficient and fast elevators, parking (also some outside spots for 4WDs with rooftop tents), exceptional breakfast buffet, very friendly and well trained staff

roof top pool is more to just look at it or take nice pictures rather than using it as it is super small. Additionally, there is no free space or sun loungers to just hang out/sunbath. The complete area around the pool is reserved for bar/restaurant tables.

The location, it is in the only centre. The area is very safe and the hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall with a large grocery store, Spa and lots of curios stores. The hotel staff also made is “birthday plates” for both breakfast and dinner. It was a very nice touch to a special celebration In Windhoek👌. There are plenty of seating areas especially the roof top bar with the most magnificent views of the city. Very flexible and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay in Windhoek and will go back to Avani Hotel Windhoek!

The location was right at the centre of town and was very accessible from any business districts in town.

I didn't like their hidden Dunes Restaurant. This restaurant is not only hidden, even its food prices are hidden as i only got to be told of the price of my meal when the bill was delivered and it was way way out of my reach and their food worth far far far less than the price. I suspect the restaurant was made with Casino customers in mind yet the riduculous prices.

The hotel is located in the centre of Windhoek close to nice shops in Independence Avenue and to city highlights as Christuskirche and Independence Museum. It has a very good parking with access to the hotel. Check in and service from the reception staff was excellent. The hotel has a roof top restaurant with best view over Windhoek, amazing! Dinner and breakfast was very good. Wifi too. The room was spacious and with a nice view.

The design of the hotel is a bit outdated. The breakfast room is dark and not very attractive

Variety was good. But try to keep the water hot for tea.

There was an attempt to steal my spare tyre from the Toyota Hilux and was only saved as it had a lock to the chain. We noticed it dangling on the highway as my son drove behind me. This was very disappointing as we had parked on fourth floor , on the AVANI Car Park and was Manned by a Guard. Definitely an inside Job and could not have noticed it had I been travelling with a single vehicle. The Hotel should check this as a lot of people could be missing things through this unfortunate practice.

It was the second time staying at this hotel, after 8 years from the first time. Everything was great for spending a week for work in Windhoek. The location is as central as it gets, the room very spacious with a big desk and good internet allowing you to work effectively. The room was very clean. Three restaurants inside the building as well as good room service for the times you want to have a quick lunch / dinner without leaving the hotel.

A usable pool or at least a sauna in the gym would give this hotel a 10/10.

Excellent rooms, immaculate clean. Fast check in, professional staff all around. Great rooftop bar with nice diverse food menu. Super sweet and professional waiters. There was a big group dining that evening in the corner, no hick up in service and staff went out of their way to accommodate other guest, putting terrace tables inside… really top top notch service minded crew in the rooftop bar! Spot on, please celebrate their contribution! Parking next to hotel, so convenient and located in / next to a mall. What else you need?

The Avani Windhoek Hotel is in the centre of Windhoek, within short walking distance of Christuskirche and the Independence Memorial Museum. Large, comfortable, standard hotel room. The skybar was great for a drink, with fantastic views of Windhoek. The breakfast was stunning, with everything that you could possibly think of.

The food in The Pantry coffee shop at the hotel was poor and service was very, very slow.

- The attitude of the receptionists towards us was neutral at best, we felt like being judged by appearance - The service of the bar on top floor was simply terrible. We gave it a try twice and on both occasions, we waited for too long to get a menu, to get a drink, to pay (we even had to pay at the bar upon leave once), while many people who came after us got served earlier. We waited 55 minutes to get our first drink.
