Absolutely breathtaking atmosphere of the hotel, settled in a lavish tropical green. We loved the traditional architecture of the wooden houses and the decor - that´s why I chose this hotel. Excellent location in the city center. 15mins walk to Pub Street. Very pleasant pool and lovely massage (although you can get those anywhere in town - prices in the hotel are actually reasonable. I recommend Khmer massage). Breakfast was ok-ish, but the surroundings made it unique. Beds were comfy, no TV. They bring each night some sweet treats and a traditional bedtime story - a pleasant touch.

The hotel is defininetly on the higher end in terms of prices compared to others in Siem Reap. That said, if we pay $150 per night (they charge $20 extra for the rooms on first floor) we expect a welcoming attitude from the staff. It felt the opposite, which was very disappointing. The only time the staff approached us to ask how was our stay was when they asked us to write a positive review about them. Ouch. The breakfast slection is also very limited, although sufficient. I would still recommend a stay in this hotel for its amazing atmosphere and architecture.

Love the architecture and style of this place, very unique in Siem Reap and highlighting Cambodian culture and tradition. The staff is nice and helpful. The atmosphere is so green and relaxing while the location is perfect, being right in the town center. Room is spacious and clean with a strong attention to many details. Breakfast is amazing and super complete. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Angkor Village! Note: The restaurant of the hotel, Aaraama, has an original and interesting menu telling the story of Cambodian cuisine. A must try!

We booked 4 nights in a Lake View Double Room. Everything was exceptional, location, view, decorations, jungle village feel, interior, staff, small details and attention given to us. We tried the food many times, pool, room service, massage, basically everything that was on the offer and everything had the same exceptional level of service. Vathna and his team are doing an amazing job, supper friendly and professional.. They helped us organise Apsara tickets and tours with driver and guide included, all the tours were amazing and we actually learned so much about local culture and history during the tour. They knew ahead that this is part of our honeymoon trip, and they went to great lengths to help us enjoy every single moment and made our stay in Siem Riep unforgettable.. We are completely in love with this peaceful place! Everything is beyond beautiful and the staff are all so sweet and helpful. We booked a room with water view, definately well worth it. Spacious, tranquil, good bathroom, great smelling body products. Cute restaurant in the middle of the pond, also very peaceful and good. The hotel just reopend this november and renovations were made in covid time. Now they are ready for a fresh start with you, don’t hesitate! The location is also perfect, in an area with lot’s of nice restaurants and coffee bars, much nicer than busy old town in our opinion. But easy and nice walk to there if you want.

The beds are very good, but quite hard. It depends on your taste if you like it. For the breakfast it’s really nice to sit by the water, the quality is ok. Not too abundant, but ok enough.

Well appointed room. Serene atmosphere and meticulously maintained grounds. Perfect place to relax following the rigors of the exploration of Angkor Wat and other historic sights. Snacks and signature cocktails around pool most welcome. Enjoyable Cambodian set menus for dinner and tailored breakfast options rather than buffet. Impeccably polite and attentive staff. Good location within walking distance of river, night market and broader restaurant options.

Difficult to find fault - although use of automated machine at check out would enhance efficiency.

I don’t think I could’ve loved my stay at this hotel more. First off, the hotel and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. The food is great, the staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in the center of town and most places are reachable by foot or a cheap, short Tuk Tuk ride. The massages are little more expensive than others in town, but in my experience, they were much better. Another bonus is having the Apsara Theater across the street, which is technically a part of the hotel, which I highly recommend attending one night. I travel a good amount and this place is without a doubt one of my favorite and most memorable hotels experiences ever. Well done Angkor Village Hotel.

It was all perfect.

The architecture of this hotel is everything you dream about: authentic and comfortable with great attention to detail. The personel is extremely kind and profesional, we felt a 5 star experience from beggining to end. The rooms are a true oasis of calm and zen in a bustling city and a day full of adventure. The spa is great, available and fairly priced. The pool is a welcome refreshing pool in beautiful gardens for what feels like a 80% humidty weather, and you can order lunch at the pool, which believe me is a plus when you spent 8+ hours exploring temples. Its rare these days to be in a place that is as beautiful as the pictures on booking are. The restaurant is really good, and breakfast is a highlight wide a wide array of a la carte options, its fresh and delicious… and FAST! This hotel brought us back the wonderful memories of the regal hotel experiences of the memorable trips of our childhood… And if this wasnt enough, they went above and beyond/ 1. Lent us a room after we checked out so we could shower before leaving to the airport, and welcomed 2 friends who came over to spend the afternoon in the hotel with us. This hotel deserves a 10 out of 10

the entire property is just heavenly- the grounds, the room, the restaurant- but the staff is the best part about this hotel- especially Lyhour, Leak, David and Thean. All of them made our stay so incredibly amazing and we will never forget it. Thank you for upgrading our room. #40 was the best room to celebrate our anniversary. and the glass of bubbly and floral arrangements with the desserts was just so thoughtful of your hotel staff. we were completely in awed from the minute we stepped foot on the property.

Wonderful hotel. And just a 2 minute walk from the town, 5 minutes from the centre. Great pool (cool enough to get relief from this hot weather). Gorgeous rooms with excellent housekeeping. Good breakfast. Great customer service from the staff. They helped us organise our sunrise Angkor Wat trip and other trips. I recommend using their driver and guide. So good, we extended our stay 3 times! We've been travelling South East Asia for 4 months and stayed in 36 accomodations so far, ranging from budget to luxury. This is the best one.

This hotel is out of a dream - gorgeous, lush, so green and peaceful, so full of colourful flowers. The pathways are full of greenery, and lead you down into hidden areas, such as a serene pool that feels like an oasis from the outside heat: covered by palms overhead, with a smattering of sun peeking through. Room are pristinely clean, comfortable and perfect for the Siem Reap days - not overly fanciful, but just right. AC works well. Service is absolutely lovely, welcoming and effective. Location is perfect, great for walking around, lots of coffee places, restaurants within a few minutes walk, with shops and convenient stores right next door. Wifi works well. Breakfast fruit is good, fruit drinks are perfect for poolside relaxing - and there is service for cars and tours if you so choose.

The only issue is the restaurant, unfortunately. While the staff there is fantastic, the food is really sub-par. Breakfast is mediocre: fruit is delicious, of course, but the bread table is puzzling, especially because there is a delicious bakery with excellent croissants, sandwiches and the like just across the street. Pomelo salad was okay, but again, you can get better anywhere, and other lunch and room service dishes were really not that great for such a beautiful luxury hotel. Not bad of course, just a little off for such a great hotel. Again, the setting is so gorgeous and the staff so lovely, that if they just invested a bit more in the restaurant food - it would be a splendid hotel.
