a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Bath, you couldn't ask for a better location. all the staff were extremely polite and helpful. It is also a very good breakfast here, definitely worth it, with the hot food made to order through to a really good buffet offering as well.

someone needs to explain that scrambled eggs are not omelettes. Bed was twin pushed together and had extremely hard sides. Room wasn't serviced, despite being out all morning and afternoon. Friday evening there was no music in the bar, lacking in atmosphere, completely different on the Saturday though. Guide and messages from the hotel sat you can park in front of the hotel to drop off and then check in, you can't.

The hotel is in a great location, the Christmas market is right outside. The room itself was luxurious and comfortable. Our building had no lift available, but the hotel staff carried our luggage up for us. Great views of the city from our room.

We had to use a car park down the street which was fine, but the hotel staff at the front desk told us it was ok to pull up outside the front entrance to unload our luggage, despite the street being closed for the Christmas market. We did that as instructed, and were berated by some outside workers for doing so. They really shouldn’t be telling people it’s ok to pull up outside. We’re the ones who get an earful about it!

Fantastically located round the corner from the Abbey and close to the river. (This does mean there is only drop-off parking and you have to use the pay-for parking down the road). I offloaded my bags and they were taken to my room which was such a treat. Room was in an annexe 2 doors down, which meant it was very quiet - no slamming doors. Very luxurious and comfortable, with huge windows. Wifi was good and there was a desk for working. Delicious breakfast served early which was helpful. And price-wise, cost no more than a very ordinary Travelodge type hotel.

Not an issue for me but if you have mobility issues, make the hotel aware as the rooms in the annexe had a steep staircase with no lift, although I saw a lift in the main hotel

Arrived and was offered an upgrade to a two bedroom suite. Absolutely fantastic facilities in the perfect location to explore Bath. Couldn't have been more comfortable in the accommodation. Lots of storage space and a bathroom to die for. We felt like we were VIPs and were warmly welcomed by reception and checked in swiftly and efficiently. Once we secured the car at Bath Cricket Club, we had no need for transport to explore the city.

No parking. There is space and provision to park out the front to offload bags etc, however it is congested with tourist buses and you get chased to move on quickly. Parking options limited with no real guidance from reception. Thoroughly recommend Bath Cricket Club for parking (secure and easy walking distance). Breakfast was a bit hectic which probably contributed to our order being incorrect.

Everything, the lady on reception who welcomed us couldn't have been more accommodating. I discussed my need to be here for medical purposes and honestly she was fantastic, understood my condition and helped provide extra pillows in order to make my back more comfortable. It was a small detail but to me it meant a lot and she is an absolute credit to your hotel and for that reason alone I would gladly stay here again. We are planning a family trip to see the Roman Baths and other sites with our children. I will most definitely look to come and stay here. I also managed to obtain a late check with zero fuss or questions asked which again made my medical appointment so much easier to attend. I was due there at 1400 and was able to get a 1300 check out. Given my current health this was so welcomed as I would have struggled trying to kill time whilst so uncomfortable and in pain. I wish I had remembered the ladys name and hope you are able to figure out who it was as her customer service was the best I've had when staying away. As I say it probably wasn't a big deal to yourselves but when I am struggling in pain, got my children with me, away from home etc. To be treated as if nothing was a big deal to ask or too big to ask, it just set the tone for a very positive trip on my recovery.

Nothing. Even the parking was no issue and very close by. Usually this would be a drawback for me especially as I didn't know the area, however like I say it was a wonderful stay.

This is a beautiful hotel and the bar areas downstairs are so inviting and cosy. The service was amazing and the staff so friendly. It was my husband’s birthday and they upgraded our room and left delicious lemon cake in our room for him as a surprise. It was such a lovely touch! The decor in the room was so nice and we stayed on the third floor, so it was super quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious too.

I would stay here again, as nearly everything was perfect! The pillows were the only thing and we didn’t sleep very well because of them!

This hotel is in an excellent location right near everything and yet isn’t noisy! The rooms are spacious with a perfect mix of decor that complements the Victorian style building without being too historic or overly modern. Absolutely perfect for our family and i would recommend to anyone traveling with kids.

Car parking not onsite but close by. There wasn’t an elevator to our room so stairs were used. Not a problem for us but something to be aware of.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for six nights. The location is excellent for walking around the city and its sights. Several tasty restaurants within a block or two. Easy walk from the train station. We enjoyed the wide range of menu options both at the buffet and hot breakfasts. There's cozy bar for evening reading and conversations. The room has good lighting and the bathroom is pretty with a versatile shower. Each staff member was welcoming and helpful.

Very stylish property with comfortable beds/pillows. The staff were so friendly and helpful it made the stay even better and the bar area is very relaxing if you fancy a drink. They also allowed us to check our baggage into a side room as our room wasn’t ready yet and upon it being ready, the baggage had been placed in our room. Very thoughtful.

When the upstairs bathroom toilet was flushed, a strange noise (although quiet) could be heard where water would be moving in the pipes above. Barely noticed this though even when I’m a light sleeper.

Staff were very friendly on check in, didn't feel the need to greet you every time on the way in and out which personally I like! Room was stylish and spacious, good sized bed. Bathroom had a little motion censored light which I thought was such a great touch for in the night. The room was on the front and there was noise on a night but it had usually stopped by the time we wanted to go to sleep, this was midweek however so may differ on a weekend, especially with a pub right outside. Location was great, we went scenic routes a lot of the time not realising how close everything was! Sally Lunn's was steps away, Bath Abbey and Roman Baths not much further!

The bathroom left a bit to be desired. My eye immediately went to the seal on the shower screen, which was filthy. The walls had mould on them, which could have been sorted with the correct paint. The window also rattled a lot but granted it was windier than usual. We wedged it the best we could but that in turn let in a lot of noise from outside.
