The rooms are beautiful. Beds are so comfy. Tea coffee sugar coffee machine and toiletries are good quality. Bar and restaurant is great. Decorated lovely throughout. Location is ideal .Staff are spot on 👌 asked the inn before we arrived if they could help me with purchasing a helium balloon for the room as it was my mums 60th birthday and we were travelling from Devon to get there in the evening. They got the big 6 0 balloons attached to the headboard of the bed :) my mum was so so happy . They went above and beyond. Thank you so much guys . We loved it here were definitely coming back !!

The location was perfect. A short walk from the train station and a few steps from the city centre. It was especially convenient being able to drop things off at my room during the day and keep exploring. The room and bathroom were spotless and modern. The coffee machine and TV were a definite plus. They take great care in making sure you enjoy your experience, down to the little things.
The building is old so the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours. That being said, it wasn't too much of a disruption. I would still stay here next time I'm in Bath.

I loved the location of the Inn. It was very close to everything I wanted to see. I loved the charm of the place; being in such an old building had cool vibes. I liked being able to grab a drink easily at the bar right there. I liked it that there is a separate entrance to go in if I didn't want to walk through the entire restaurant. And I also loved that there was a special seating area/lobby that the guests could use which contained tables, chairs and games to borrow. I thought that was very convenient although I didn't use.
I'd say the only thing that was a bummer was that in the app it said we could reach out if we wanted to store our luggage. I text the phone number provided as well as called several different phone numbers several times and I was not able to reach anyone. So unfortunately on my checkout day I did have to carry my luggage around quite a bit which was a little bit of an inconvenience. But this would not deter me from rebooking, I would just plan accordingly.

The bed pillows bedding was very very comfortable,it was lovely and clean . When arrived to the room there was a radio with music playing in the back ground. Food was good in the pub . Nice touches with the bottled water and biscuits. Staff friendly and polite. Rooms a little small but very cosy .A fantastic was in the room which I liked
Will only thing ,didn't like was no kettle for tea am a tea drinker but was only there one night ,plenty of cafes around it for my morning brew . Everything else was spot on .

Fantastic location - situated in a quiet street but just 2 to 5 minutes away in either direction from the City Centre shops, attractions. Station a little further away but easily walkable. I prefer to stay in a pub rather than hotel for short breaks as I often find it a less formal/stuffy environment - The griffin didn't disappoint. The room was comfortable with everything there that we needed. Plenty of storage space and tea/coffee making facilities that were topped up each day. The staff were fantastic, made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much to Pete, and Elle (cocktail maker extraordinaire) for looking after us so well. I'd definitely look to stay here again. If you're looking to partake in a spa-day during your visit, we would highly recommend the Gainsborough. May look on the pricy side but not surprising when you consider that you are bathing in THE Bath waters and get to spend most of a day there - I haven't ever felt that relaxed I don't think ever. My treatment was fabulous, facilities excellent and with a lovely afternoon tea at the end.
The only very slight grumble was that the room (particularly the shower room) was chilly in the mornings.

Brilliant location to explore beautiful Bath. The room was almost perfect for my needs - tastefully decorated, a very comfortable bed, radio tuned to a favourite station, and my own bathroom (not en suite). Breakfast was not included but that was fine - Bath had plenty of breakfast options!
I happened to stay on the hottest day of the year (30 + degrees) and the room was like an oven. But I did appreciate the quiet fan and window that opened.

I stayed in the Beau room and it was perfect for a solo traveller. The room was super clean and had great facilities. It was modern but had great classic decor. The whole pub actually had a great homely feel to it! All the staff were super friendly and helpful! Really enjoyed my stay at the Griffin. Location is great too - pretty much centre of town and yet on a quiet side street. They were more than happy to store my luggage before check in and after check out on the days I was travelling which was so kind!
Not an issue but quick info - No one is available to check you out until 11am - if you're leaving straight away this is no problem you can leave your room and key and it's all done. If you're travelling later in the day and want your bag stored meantime, you have to wait until 11 for someone to be there - again not really a major issue but good to know.

I selected the Griffin Inn for my 2 night stay and it turned out perfect for my needs. Not only was it centrally located, but the staff was exceptionally kind and a accommodating. The downstairs pub was warm and welcoming with tasty beverages and gastro pub food selections. My room had everything I needed with an extra comfortable bed. If I return to Bath in the future, the Griffin Inn will once again be my home away from home. Special thanks to bartender and host Ry...? So sorry I can't come up with the complete version of his unusual name.
Griffin Inn was perfect for me!

The Griffin inn is a lovely place to stay it is very clean and has been done to a high standard. The The owner and staff are all very friendly and welcoming there is such a lovely atmosphere and is popular with locals and travellers.
There’s nothing I didn’t like the only thing I would of maybe liked if I was been pickier would of been able to get a breakfast but I can fully understand why they don’t offer this but it wasn’t a problem as there are loads of places near by to get breakfast and are all very good .

The manager Rycroft was exceptionally lovely and warm, making my parents and I feel so welcomed and at home immediately. He helped us up the stairs with our bags, shared some history with us, and consistently made sure that everything was cared for with a kind smile. The pub is a very charming place to spend the evening, and location was great - close enough to everything, but slightly away from the commotion - a great balance. Would certainly recommend.
