Perfect location! Easy 10 minute walk from the rail station. The accommodation itself is very chill. Unlike other hostels I’ve been too this one had a “chill out” room on the top floor which is very neat. It’s basic but if you want to relax but not in your room you can use that has tea coffee water books tv and dvd player. I booked a bed in 6 dorm room and had only 1 roommate very chill - possibly just time of the year? Staff are super lovely !! You get discounted beer if your a guest at hostel and they allow you to use the laundry room which is wildly helpful!

Rooms were very very cold Breakfast wasn’t worth the money…went once and didn’t bother the other days. Go to the shops across the road or a cafe for breakfast

I’ve stayed in many hostels, also two of the same chain and I might say this one is different. Thanks to the building configuration, there are not many rooms and they’re well distributed. Everything seems so calm and quiet. Top notch location, literally 3 mins walking from most of the landmarks and the cathedral. Restaurants, shops and a supermarket nearby. While we’ve stayed there they had many free activities arranged and my friend and I (as well as many other people) were invited to join for Free Pizza Night. It was fun and the pizza tasty. Staff at the reception are also very welcoming and friendly. I sincerely recommend this hostel ☺️

Price is good (for Bath), and location unbeatable. We are an older couple so our days of backpacking are a thing of the past, and we opted for a double room rather than the dorm... Room 5, to be precise. Excellent view from the window and really good facilities; my wife was really impressed with the Revlon hair straighteners left in the room for guest use, plus the Lavazza coffee machine with plenty of pods and a fancy kettle! We were only in Bath for a gig at The Forum, and this budget stayover is ideal for a one-nighter. Clean, tidy and a certain charm in the boho decor. We both loved it.

There was nothing we actively didn't like, but would have preferred a private bathroom rather than shared with numerous other guests. Who wouldn't? But then you're welcome to pay £200-£500 per night somewhere else on a bank holiday weekend in Bath if you wish... knock yourself out! I will describe the bathroom (at least the one we used) as akin to a shower block at a campsite, except its clean and tidy! 3 sinks, traps 1-4 and 4 (I think) shower cubicles. And you don't have to tramp through sodden grass to get there😆. And there aren't that many people using it so, unlike a campsite, you don't have to get up at 6am to avoid 'plague pit' conditions.

The location was great. I booked a 6-bed female dorm which was a good decision. The toilets and sinks were good. The activities every night at the bar were cool. I stayed for 4 nights and we had 2 live music evenings and a really cool open stage night.

It was quite loud in and outside, you could hear the people next door and out front moving. The room was really hot despite mild temperatures and open windows throughout the night. The showers weren't the greatest and the toilets weren't regularly cleaned and we had no way of cleaning it ourselves. The staff was OK, but not too friendly.

Great location, female only room was nice (the dressing table area was great with hair dryers & plenty of space in the room), plug & light on the bed, storage cages under the bed, luggage storage lockers are easy to use and affordable for a full day and amazing deals & discounts on the connected/attached bar downstairs!!!

The shared unisex bathroom. Bathroom was not always very clean. Mattress on the beds was okay not the most comfortable but fine for a few nights. Shared common space is small but okay - free tea & coffee which is nice but no milk :(

The bedding was very fresh and clean. The rooms were very good clean. Nice personal lamps charging portal at each bed Large enough underneath bed storage per person. The only thing one must have they're own padlock otherwise you have to search the city for one in good time! Discounted food and drinks. Very friendly security and staff. I felt very safe. If there were any issues, it was dealt with straight away! I would certainly stay at this place again!

It would have been better to buy a padlock at there instead of going out to buy a padlock. However Waitrose was just on the other side of the road which resolved everything as I was able to buy one there. I was so happy to finally lock my things away and experience Bath city as much as I could

I like the fact that the bathroom was very clean and environmental friendly. The room was well accessorised with coffe, tea, sugar, a kettle, straightener and hairdryer. Also, the reception is inside the pub called Belushi's and will give you different deals as the hostel guest, like discount on food and more on drinks.

The only thing that I didn't like is that the walls of the room are very thin and I could hear every kind of noise and I couldn't sleep during the night. I could hear from people going to the toilet flushing the wc, washing their hands and activating the hand drayer to the buses in the morning going back and forth down the street. It was a bit frustrating.

We really appreciated the central location of the hostel and were really impressed with how modern the equipment of our room was. Having the hostel bar-restaurant downstairs proved itself very useful and we also made use of the lockers which made the beginning of our journey easier. The staff was lovely.

We know it's part of the hostel life but we had some trouble sleeping when the hostel hosted some karaoke event (bad sound insulation)

The staff are amazing and friendly. I am yet to leave but because I extended my stay, I will write about my first few nights. ❤️ The place is awesome and fit for anyone and everyone. I love the lady from Thailand at the bar and Damion and the tall guy. They are really friendly and welcoming. 😊☺️ Meals are 25% off if you stay at the hostel. If you do come here, please try the burger and fries!! 😝🍔🍟 If you drink, they give welcoming drinks and they have shots for 1 pound!! 🍻🥃 I mean!! An all you can eat 6 pound breakfasts is available too. Very filling!! 🌤 They have activities for every night of the week like karaoke and live music and etc. It's right at the heart of Bath. So much to see. Not too far from the train Bath spa station and not too far from Bath bus station. 👌 I love the place and falling in love with it everyday!! ❤️ The hostels are clean. The rooms. Clean sheets and all. Bathrooms are clean. They have a chill out room too! I have met amazing people since I came here. I unknowingly booked a mixed dorm but no issues at all. The guests are mature. I didn't even change to a female room. 👏👏 I love the decor and art along the stairs. They have quite a niche! The whole St Christopher's Inn and Belushis bar. Just awesome!! ❤️❤️ Love! Love! Love! 😊😊 I prefer them to their London Branch. I unknowingly mistook my dates and even when I was willing to pay, they said there aren't any rooms even when booking.com showed there are rooms. Mind you, it's at night in London. A whole girl by herself with 3 suitcases and I was told to walk off. Bath, Thank-you!! ❤️ PS: Please pay or fix the upstairs TV decoder so that guys can watch TV at the chill out room and check the microwave. 😊😊❤️ Will upload better and more photos with next review.

Very convenient location, wifi and comfy beds. The dorm was really warm (20 degrees Celsius) which was much appreciated considering the temperature outside was sometimes negative. The staff were also very friendly.

There was a group of at least half a dozen Indian people (about half men, half women) who stayed for 1 night. They had booked beds in a mixed gender dorm, so tried to have sex inside the dorm. It's not the first time I've seen this happen in a hostel, unfortunately. They also spent the whole evening at the hostel (in the dorm and in the chill out room) and were really noisy. I really don't understand why people travel to Bath to stay inside a hostel. It's full of pubs, bars, nightclubs, fast food joints, money can't have been an issue, especially for a group, and they didn't look very shy.
