Stunning location Amazing views Excellent customer service

Our room was a little tired and definitely in need of updating to provide better value for money. The food options and service were fine but not outstanding

Staff was superb. Great stay because of the highly attentive and kind staff. They went out of their way to make my husband feel special on his 45th Birthday. The property is charming and is well kept.

Our room was cooled by a AC unit that was pulling air through our window. That window was therefore, unable to be used and the other window in the unit did not have a screen. We could not sleep with the windows open. Also the stand alone unit didn't cool the room enough. Its a shame that with all of the resort fees assessed, they charge additional for certain amenities such as kayaking or canoeing ($100 rental charge).

The setting is fantastic. Wonderful friendly staff. Pet friendly and family friendly. Beautiful outdoor heated pool in winter is heavenly.

You never know what kind of room/cabin that you are going to get. House keeping staff seemed to do the bare minimum. Room service menu is fairly limited

We stayed here at Jasper Park Lodge when she wasn't "Fairmont" yet some 30 years ago. The property has been well maintained and upgraded . The environment and the wildlife are still perfectly preserved. I still remember few deers knocking our lodge window decades ago but this time it is full herd of elks greeting us every morning. We can hear their voice rumbling in the mountains now and then. Walking at dawn along the lake to the golf course is very memorable. Even though the room is quite old-fashioned, it is still very practical and comfortable. I like your new Nespresso machine very much.

We checked in late around midnight and I forgot to inform your front officer of my ALL Accor membership number. I emailed you later but I haven't got any reply at all yet. I asked Fairmont Lake Louise to do so but they said it must be done via original property only.

The lodge and grounds are amazing, beautiful lake, beautifully kept grounds. Pleasure to walk around, good food in main hall, grab and go options also.

The rooms are too basic and need alot of TLC for the money per night paid. Simple things could make big difference to the overall tired appearance. Hot inside room even though September, had two fans both of which were very dusty. Bathroom was nice and modern. 3rd day no house keeping, was out all day and came back at 8pm no new towels, or rubbish removed etc. Called and they said short staffed so we asked for towels which we received, but no offer to at least have taken the accumulated rubbish etc. Details like this you don't expect paying such a high per night rate, you want to come back to clean tidy room after full day out hiking. They did apply 50 CAD refund at check out due to this but really you expect it done.

A last minute booking as the lodge had not been reopened when we planned our trip. It was a nice addition. Clearly still recovering from the fires and we were pleased to see that the lodge was donating 100% of our fees to the funds to help rebuild the town. The room was spacious and we loved the log fire, we had bad weather so it was very welcome. We enjoyed the planetarium evening.

Service was very slow, possibly due to lack of staff, but the hotel did apologise for this at the time.

property itself was excellent. the facilities were great and we loved our lake view room

staff wasn’t great. the phone in our room did not work and we asked for it to be repaired at least 3-4 times, but no one came to look at it. I had to call room service using my cellphone (international roaming). also, we asked for room service and immediately within 5 mins called to cancel the order, but they charged me delivery fees. I had to go to the front desk to get that taken care of. it’s these small things that make the experience not so great especially when you pay soooo much for the room.

We loved staying in our cabin, just a short walk from the main lodge building. Restaurants, bars and outdoor pool were great. Hotel was quite busy with their Senior's "spring fling" event taking place, but we were well looked after as well. The courtesy shuttle buses were fully committed for this event, but the hotel arranged for us to be taken to town and Marmot Basin by private taxi, Wow ! We enjoyed our stay here more than the 3 days spent at the Chateau lake Louise. See you next year.

All good

Rooms have been renovated. Excellent job with the bathrooms, good taste, beautiful, practical and all we needed was there. Lodge beautifully decorated, staff was excellent. They could not find my reservation at first, but all was solved. Spa was good, grounds are beautiful. They have a planetarium but does not open on Sundays, so we could not visit it (only day it was clear).

Rooms have been renovated. Room itself lacked charm, coziness, etc. Engineer beige all around. No comfy chairs, no decoration. Very institutional looking, not a room you want to stay anytime in. Mattress old and out of shape. No coat hangers. No rug at entrance, snow made a mess of things. Also getting the room to be serviced was a challenge. Had to ask on second day. It appears they were short staffed. Pool as always not hot enough, everyone in the hot tub instead!

The hotel is more like a village and has beautiful grounds. The room was well equipped and comfortable.

The "experience" fee was an issue especially if you don't use any of the experiences such as spa, valet parking, etc. We were using the hotel as a base to sightsee not to use on site facilities. The parking was a nightmare, the roads narrow so when valet and service cars were using them it was difficult. There was no parking immediately outside the unit. Being woken up two nights on the run by noisy late check outs and early arrivals with banging on the doors by staff.
