River view balcony views of Cargo ships, riverfront, historic scenes are all good. 4th floor has garden terrace which is nice. 7th floor has Sun Deck. Both operate 6 am to 10 pm. Without Room access key, no one can access parking lot or the car. Valet parking is good service. Just that booking.com and Hyatt should convey this service is charged during booking for car parking. Room had king bed, one Sofa, TV, refrigerartor, coffee maker. Room and restroom was nice, neat, clean. They do provide electric iron and one little closet.
Valet parking charges should be disclosed in bookings.com. Also, description regarding city view, river side view, balcony river view is not clear on booking.com So, this comment is for booking website, not Hyatt. Hyatt service was great. I feel that instead of common microwave for the floor. They should provide in room microwave for the customers. Everytime , we had to go in the lobby to hear the food. Rest all was good.

This is the only hotel I will ever book if I ever return to Savannah GA in the future. The staff is amazing, friendly and kind! The perfect distance from anything fun to do in Savannah, or any restaurant you can imagine. Wasn't crazy about the $48 per night parking charge, but you have to pay to park anywhere in Savannah (also not crazy about this!). The balcony with the view of the river from the 4th floor blew us away! Stunning hotel inside. Nicest place my daughter and I have ever stayed. I originally had a Bed & Breakfast booked for my week in Savannah, but once I went inside and saw my room & all of the amenities it DIDN'T have, I cancelled & walked out the door without even having another place booked. Found this hotel online, was fortunate enough to secure a room for the entire week, and I absolutely couldn't have been more pleased with my sight-unseen choice!
Really, the only thing I wasn't crazy about was when you scan your code to have the valet retrieve your car didn't always work. You would go down to pickup your car & the valet didn't receive the notice to bring your car around, even though you received a text message that it was received on their end. It's a fantastic service-just maybe has a few bugs to work out??? Also, if they could put an ice machine closer to each hallway so you didn't have to go so far to get it, or to heat up food since a microwave wasn't in the hotel room would really help.

The Balcony was not too good because it was a partial view of the river
My biggest problem was booking thru third part that was a overseas office. They could not answer local activity question nor could they answer any questions pertaining to discounts ,i.e. Senior, Government or Military therefore I received no type of discount then having to pay a higher price because they did not provide any information on discounts.I was told by staff upon checkout that the booking agency is responsible. I would have cancelled had I know this fact but I really like HYATT.A post discount would certainly be appreciated.

I arrived after a 10 1/2 hour drive evacuating Florida for hurricane Milton. I got there at about 1 AM. The drive should have only taken me 5 1/2 hours, So I was exhausted and scared. As I was driving, I prayed that the staff would be kind. When I pulled up to the valet, the Lord answered my prayer. This beautiful young woman London said, my manager said to be gentle with them. That’s exactly what I prayed for! The fact that the manager would actually use the word gentle was beautiful and then London was so caring and loving with me as she took my luggage and helped me check in. Her care was exactly what I needed. I am incredibly grateful to that manager and to London from the valet team, she was amazing! Thank you.
The rooms are dark and dated.

This was the BEST hotel experience that I have ever had. My husband and I booked this hotel for our anniversary weekend and we weren’t sure of where to book since we had never stayed in Savannah. The staff at this hotel are the sweetest most genuine people you will meet. The hotel location was so great the elevators even take you straight down to the heart of riverstreet. This hotel experience was the best we have ever had and if you are thinking about booking you won’t regret it! Seriously job well done! Thank you for everything.
Nothing it was perfect!

The location was right on River street with an elevator at the entrance and within the hotel that brought you to ground level on River Street. We had an inside view that had a tiny balcony, perfect size to look and see what was happening. The room was great, we asked for a regular king size room, they gave us one that had accessibility, wasn’t an issue. They unloaded our bags and brought them to the room, we received credit to the corner pantry as well. The staff was excellent and greeted up with a complimentary cocktail.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I will admit parking wasn’t the best, but you could do valet for a fee. There was a parking garage across the street that helped if you didn’t want to do valet. The parking onsite was only for those who opted for valet.

River view from room was really nice. Room was spacious even though it was a single bedroom unit. Location to River walk, attractions, restaurants, etc. was really nice - able to walk and see multiple things, eat, and enjoy our weekend there in Savannah.
One of the door entrances from hotel to River Walk was broken…..not a very secure thing. I know every city has its challenges with homeless people, but coming down to River Walk out of the basement elevator exit from hotel in evening to enjoy walk along river and surrounding shops, etc. wasn’t very enjoyable having to navigate homeless people laying around near hotel exit and Christmas shop next door.

Convenience of location. And what I thought was very funny was that I got a better rate through booking.com than I did from Hyatt Regency direct. Even better than this special group rate we had.
The room was fairly clean. However, as soon as I looked on the back of the door for the bathroom, it looked like some crazy things had happened there. There was a lot of splatter on the back of the door and the crevices and Corners were not very clean. Outside of that I would say it was fairly okay with the exception of the $50 to park your car....

Two Hyatt Rock Stars: Ms. Tequella at the front desk was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable thru out our stay. Also got to speak with Conner concerning his valet parking crew. They were a great reflection on what you would expect at the Hyatt, especially a young man called Z.
I did not care at all for the lady who checked us in Thursday. She was what former Educators and administrators would call professionally rude. She read the script, went through the protocol, never smiled but you always had that hurry up and get out of my face feeling from her.

Location was excellent. Walking distance from great restaurant choices and riverside shopping. Staff was exceptional in friendliness and helpfulness -- from bellhop to front desk to breakfast waiters. Lobby is impressive and well-decorated. Riverside view was perfect! Breakfast was also very impressive and a great value. Breakfast buffet had wonderful and extensive selection of food and drink.
Entry skirt into hotel driveway was low so we severely scraped our van's front and back bumper on the cement. Valet lane was so busy that we had to make two lanes of waiting cars. Took about 15 minutes for a bellhop to be able to help us with our things and valet to take the keys and give us a tag. Valet seemed understaffed. White comforter had a noticeable red/orange stain at top left corner, just by the pillow (surprised the cleaning staff missed it when making the bed). TV remote did not work well -- had to press buttons multiple times for TV to respond (batteries probably dying).
