The Sunbird lodge is a very cozy facility surrounded by greenery. Situated in a great location, very close to the center of Phalaborwa, but especially very close to the Kruger entrance gate (10 minutes by car). Large, clean and quiet room. Excellent and plentiful breakfast. The added value, however, is the fantastic Dave, who gave us so many useful tips and answered all our requests. Highly recommended!

Simply outstanding warm and friendly service from the host who really understands customer service. The room was big, the pool was warm, the breakfast was fresh.

The breakfast was good both in quality and quantity. The accommodation cottages are comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a large, well-kept swimming pool and a spacious garden.

Some of the paintwork on the accommodation cottages needs attention.

Dave from the Sunbird Lodge simoly is sn exceptional host! He organized a restaurant for us, stayed around for longer thsn normally when our flights didn't work out, packef us breakfast to take into Kruger and besides all that was just super friendly and fun. If yoz look for a place around Phalaborwa gate - take this one!

Breakfast was perfect and nice part is that it is not far from restaurants. Dave is such a nice person. Very welcoming and makes you feel at home.

Very nice place, close to the Phalaborwa gate. The host Dave makes sure you have everything you need and is more than happy to share some tips and tricks when going to Kruger, which was exactly what we needed. Thank you again! We had a great time!

Dave is a great host! He made us feel very welcome. The room has everything you need. If we enter the KNP through Phalaborwa gate we will defenitly stay here again the night before!

EVERYTHING!! perfect in every way! we really enjoyed our stay! from the moment we rang that bell at reception to handing the keys back to Dave it was AMAZING!! this place has everything you need! Kruger not too far away. Restaurants literally round the corner and hosts that literally would do anything for you! we would highly recommended this place to everybody and would deffo stay here again!
