Our room was bright and clean. Staff were flexible and very helpful. The location is a stone's throw from the quiet Alcaravaneras beach, which has a view on to a port, and a 15 min walk from the lively Las Canteras beach. The busy shopping street Avenida Jose Mesa y Lopez is 10 mins by foot. Ruben's cafe on the ground floor (separate business) serves fantastic tortilla, I especially recommend the blood-sausage tortilla and Basque beer. There is a regular and cheap bus service on the main road (GC-1).

Didn't like the online check in, I was busy enough with preparations for the trip without an extra job, but the staff were flexible and check in was carried out on arrival.

The accomodation was very central, close to the beach and to lots of restaurants. There was also a terrace and a rooftop place with a nice view of the city. The hostel as such is visually quite appealing as it's in an old house that has been renovated and is now quite modern. So it has a lot of character.

There were for some reason almost no shelves in the sleeping pod. There was generally almost no place to put things of daily use. Most beds had a sort of side-pocket, but mine didn't. A small metal locker belonged to every bed but directly at the bed there was no shelf to put the small things. Another problem was that everyday there was a three-hour time window where everyone had to stay away from the hostel. So in case someone wants to just stay in the hostel the whole day, it's simply not possible. I have not experienced anything like this in any other hostel.

Easy to book in the moment, great for an emergency. Good location.

Not super clean, fluff on the floors in the corners, a few long hairs on the bed, same in the shared bathroom, but maybe to he expected in a hostel that has a high turn over and a wide variety of different guests. My room was a bit noisy, some guests don't give a s**t, a TV or radio was playing quite loud in one room till 3.00 in the morning, and guests dont talk they shout. I was next door to the toilet and the cistern was broken the water didn't shut off after a flush and was constantly running, in the end I turned off the supply tap.

I stayed here last bee Christmas 2022 and paid 40 euro per night which I thought very decent. location in great. the room is basic but everything was new, functional and super clean. they had a great kitchen and even a roof terrace. You can pick up the key from reception which worked for me. They also work with security codes. very professional set up that values giving good service to their customers. There was a loud party on the street around the corner on Christmas Eve but that was a one off. I was probably the worst for making noise. Their shared bathroom was also very good. Wi-Fi was a bit weak but I found that everywhere in the Canaries anyway

It is a very nice hostel, close to Playa de las Alcaravaneras (1 min on foot), which is not very special and 15 min on foot form Playa de Las Canteras, which is great. The hostel is close to bus stops that can take you anywhere on the island. Inside we found a large room with too separate beds, a bathroom and a balcony. However, not every room has these amenities, it depends on the price. A very cool thing is the kitchen on the top floor with a roof terrace.

Everything was great.

Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, close to the beach. The Hostel is also quiet at night so you can get a good night sleep. I also recommend going to the Gastro Bar underneath it. They have amazing food.

Wifi stopped for 2 days on the third floor.

The room was basic but clean and quiet. The common kitchen, roof terrace and bathroom were easily accessible, clean and quiet as well. Access was easy and straightforward. Everything was well arranged

My room was ok. For the money you can’t complain. The roof terrace was nice. At the end of the day it’s a hostel so you wld expect much. I’d stay again for sure.

Friendly staff, great location, clean, and cheap, what more can you ask for. I've stayed there twice now on mountain biking holidays and no doubt I'll be staying there again.
