Economical Motel away from the downtown.

My wife and I recently traveled from Ontario to Newfoundland in an electric vehicle, staying at economy motels such as yours, along the way. We were rather disappointed that no economy motels provided overnight EV charging. I would highly recommend that economy motel owners consider installing Level 2 240 volt EV chargers of approximately 30-40 amp capacity connected to a network such as FLO or Chargepoint. The network would collect the cost through their network RFID card or app to compensate the motel owner. A reasonable charge of about $1.50/hr. would be much more attractive to me, then staying at a luxury motel and paying $50 to $100 more per night and receiving “free” charging for approximately $10 worth of EV charging.

Very comfy bed. I slept great and the hotel is very quiet. There were, however, contractors that were staying in rooms nearby whom I heard outside the door early morning as I presume they were leaving for work. All in all, I would definitely come back as the value for the rate is unbeatable.

The free coffee in the lobby was a nice surprise although it was a bit watery.

Easy access from the A-40 and the old city; Super clean room; staff is professional and friendly; Real wood furniture in the room is a plus, as compared to the modern hotels. Great tea available anytime during the stay;

Good and strong coffee would really help; light breakfast would suit the clients before extended walking into the old Quebec.

The room was huge, though a little odd in the decor. The bathroom was newly renovated and there was good pressure. The wifi was excellent and the location is very well located and easily accessible off the highway.

Unfortunately there was no breakfast presently being offered. Also, the lack of a water heater or a coffee machine meant a long walk to get hot water or coffee to get to the lobby from my room which was a bit inconvenient.

The courteous and friendly staff. Though they understand a little of English they helped us a lot in making us feel comfortable. The free Wi-Fi and unlimited free coffee added big smiles to our stay. I felt regretted not to have booked here for my entire four days’ tour in this part rather than than having the worst ever experience of moving to hotel Au Poste De Traite in Sainte Famille for next two days

Almost nothing worth mentioning

For the price, this is a great option. I honestly don't have much to complain.

I stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past month and in all 4 rooms i've stayed in, all 4 of them had sheets too small for the bed and i'd end up with my feet directly on the matress at some point or another of the night. Also, one of the 4 rooms had a non-functional AC unit, while all of them had pretty loud and dusty units.

The room was an excellent value for my money. I would book it again if I could. The neighborhood also offers good services like restaurants and car repairs which I happened to need.

The only minor item that was incorrect was an older misadjusted toilet tank flapper. It sometimes did not operate properly so I had to manually put it back in place. But this can be easily fixed so not much of a concern.

They make an amazing coffee and as always were very kind with my very bad French speaking skills. Added bonus was the trip was for a World Cup Paracycling event & a Primeau Velo was across the road to help with equipment issues.

Requested main floor but ended up on the second (no elevator) which made it a bit difficult to get 2 big bike boxes up to the room. HOWEVER, the room was so large, it made up for the minor inconvenience. They did advertise a continental breakfast but all they had was their amazing coffee- yummm but hungry. Good thing there are a couple of restaurants near by.

This place has everything you needed for a tired traveller. The bed was comfortable, room was well temp controlled, shower pressure was good and the room was clean. We paid $89 and it was well worth the price. During a road trip would stay here again.

Large windows, plenty of Natural light, quiet and that was a blessing after a long drive. Clean property, well lit parking area.Very nice, polite Staff and my special thanks to the gentleman at the Front desk ( Muhammad) . He made the stay memorable and guided us to some nice places to visit in our short stay. Check in/out was seamless.
