We had a dog-friendly room which was spacious and met our needs exactly. We attended their Pride event, the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from the main stage area. The room was spotless and well decorated, it had both a shower cubicle and a bath. The air-conditioning was quick and effective, the breakfast menu offered a wide selection to cater for all diets. We will happily stay here again.

Other hotels we have stayed in have given us a simple doggy goody bag containing treats and a toy, and use of a towel, and food/water bowls. The Earl didn't so we had to pop back to the car, it wasn't an issue but it's a thoughtful touch that is offered by others.

The restaurant has seriously gone off. I had garlic mushrooms I was enjoying them they were lovely then the other side of the dish I got a mushroom that was icy cold! I asked for medium rare steak and it was well done. The Diane sauce was solid and would not pour out the little jug. Other people were leaving their food I noticed. The lady across from.my table had barely touched her salmon. There seemed to be a lot of new staff who were not as friendly.

Very conveniently located to visit Doncaster racecourse and Yorkshire Wildlife Park. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel to check in the staff were so friendly. The room was ready 1.5 hours before check in and I was offered a walk in shower room as I was on crutches. I declined but it was lovely to be offered. Very quirky decor, lovely atmosphere and an amazing breakfast where again the staff went above and beyond with their customer service. We will definitely be back.

unfortunately the bathroom was not up to standard, I think a safety issue. The shower you could not open if you tried it hit the sink and also the bathroom handle stopped the screen opening. It was poorly built and equipped. I having had a knee replacement and another poorly knee i had difficulty getting in the bath I had to hold onto the two handles within the bath I could not get out so my husband helped me. Bath towels were wet in the morning because only had a rail to dry them needed a heated rail.. No shelf to put your things

I believe I was misled by pictures on booking.com as I was expecting a traditional quirky art deco room as advertised instead we received a modern room which was no better than premier inn . So I was disappointed having booked over 12 months ago that this happened. Booking.com should state clearly which room is available since you have the option to ‘select room’ . Paying for what I received was rather expensive. Diane at reception did offer to change to a room that I wanted but we had already unpacked . This should not have happened.

Truly fabulous hotel, with amazing staff. A great experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend a stay there if you are visiting the area. Don't forget your velvet smoking jacket and Dickey bow tie!

The only very small thing that was negative, was the cooked breakfast, where some of the ingredients had been on the warmer for a bit too long. Don't let that put you off though, as I might have just been unlucky.

I liked the style of the hotel outside gave me feeling of a vintage style like the Jeeves and Wooster vibe the furniture carried on into the reception with the seating area dinning room and bar had the same vibe to was looking forward to seeing my room by this point

After seeing the lobby and bar and restaurant I got excited to see my room opened the door and was kind of disheartened my room was like the room I stopped in at the Novotel the week before don't get me wrong the room was bright clean tidy had the norm items you tenned to find in a 4 star hotel now weather the suite are like what I hoped my room was I don't know it's a definite I will be going again to find out this isn't a bad review and I hope you don't see it like that

Been coming to Doncaster for three years and always stayed in the Holiday Inn. Looked around for somewhere better and wow we found it. Beautifully decorated with art deco look. Spotlessly clean and the facilities are superb. We only ate breakfast this time, which was excellent, with plenty of fresh fruit and fabulous fish. Next time we will dine here. Staff were lovey. Just a great find!

A slightly different hotel, faux art-deco, but kinda fun. Bed was super comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good.

The restaurant was closed as they were taking down the decorations for Christmas, fair enough, but I had to eat in the lobby and the table and chairs weren't suitable. It was a shame as the food was so good.

Quirky hotel, the art deco theme was incredible. Felt like I was in a Great Gatsby movie. That theme extended to the rooms. Very comfortable bed. Overall, great stay.

The room was a bit warm, woke up sweating in the night. The AC was noisy and didn't do much to cool the room down. A window would have been nice to let some air into the room.
