Staff were attentive and informative. The walled garden rooms were exceptionally comfortable. Great choice at Breakfast. As you would expect by a 5 star hotel.

Wedding party could have been all housed in one location in dining area. Other guests were scattered. Felt overwhelming at times.

Stayed there for a conference recently. I don’t think I’ve stayed in a place where the staff were as nice and friendly. They really went out of their way to accommodate guests. The thermal spas and treents are work doing. Very chilled experience. The food was amazing. It was so good that I had to bring some with me. There is an onsite Farm store where you can buy both vegetable & Meat that is produced onsite. The head butcher of the estate also spent time showing me how he cures different types of meat. The onsite walks are amazing, the entire stay was very impressive.

The breakfast choice was good although after several days it had very much a sameness to it. Perhaps one choice in the buffet that is different for each day would be nice.

The chemicals in the hydro pools were quite strong and certainly on one day uncomfortable to the eyes in the lap pool. Given the hotel is a supporter of health and green ideals perhaps the hotel could investigate changing to salt water as a means of chlorination. Must better for the skin and the environment.

Lovely room and large room. Comfortable bed. Surroundings stunning. Buggies up and down the hillside for less mobile guests is a nice touch.

Too warm. Room was way too warm and there was no air con to cool it down. Our room had no windows so couldn't leave a window open to let the cool air inside staying on the ground floor with a patio door which we did not want to leave open. There was a small fan left in the room which did help a bit but not ideal.

So many things. Absolutely beautiful location. Staff went above and beyond and seemed to love the work they were doing. Aaron was the best bartender we have ever had, the bar going forward for our drink expectations is very high. He also gave us great recommendations for points of interest. Katie was amazing at the front desk and very helpful with points of interest as well! Cristian made sure to check in about our stay and was an absolute delight to talk to about everything. Whatever the team there is doing to create a great environment to stay and work at needs to continue!

We love this hotel. Its extremely clean and the grounds are beautiful. The beds are so comfy and the room is so modern. special mention to the lovely young lad ( sorry I did get his name but can’t remember it now. he said he hasn’t been at reception long). He was so informative, friendly and lovely to chat to as he showed us to our room. His professionalism really stood out for us.

We have stayed here several times and think that the temperature in the bath could be warmer. We were disappointed to find out we couldn’t use the facilities after we checked out this was a shame as it was extremely busy the day we arrived and had to wait on people moving to another part of the spa to use the different spa equipment.

Breakfast was lovely, (especially the pancakes!), & lots of choice. Thoroughly enjoyed evening meal in Bistro. The surrounding countryside was impressive.

If all hot food had been cooked on order rather than by buffet it would have been preferable. Though I understand it was good to have a set time for families to use the spa, the early morning period would have been the better time for us, before getting into the rest of the day. As a result, we didn’t get to use the spa which was disappointing.

Was a valentines stay for me and the mrs so just wanted a quiet few drinks nice dinner and comfortable room but it absolutely blew me away how comfy it was. How much the bar staff knew about the drinks etc also how clean the whole hotel was

We had a slight noise from the shower when the water was on I suspect plumbing issues however it doesn’t affect how we felt about our stay as nothing in life is perfect

Fantastic Hotel in a picture perfect location. Great facilities and the Castle is so beautiful a real gem with a large function room behind. The Spa area whilst compact was adequate but could do with extra pegs to hang your robe, and maybe a couple more poolside loungers.. Friendly attentive staff working in the Bistro for our evening meal with a reasonable plant based menu++!

Being on a Plant based diet I was slightly disappointed with the options particularly at breakfast. A big no no is putting the button mushrooms in the same warming pan as the beef vegetable rolls!! No thought or else they just discriminate against plant based. No plant based sausages, nor hash browns, no beans except you had to ask for them and when brought there was no spoons to use to transfer to my toast. Overall we're now in the 21st century and whether like it or not plant based is here and here to stay. Was it just me or where there a coach load of German tourist's as every pool lounger had a towel on and no one on them!

This was our second time staying at this hotel and we are so impressed each time . The staff, the facilities, the chefs the venue and its surroundings are top class. 4 stars is one short in my opinion. I would very highly recommend this hotel to all family and friends. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Killeavy
