Very nice hotel with very good facilities. Very good breakfast with great offerings. The staff were cordial and spoke English which was nice. There was a bar and restaurant that seemed inviting. The bar was often lively. The tram was a five minute walk away and 15 minutes into town so it was convenient. My daughter and I enjoyed staying here and I would definitely book again.

The hotel parking was a little bit expensive and it seemed like the staff wasn’t overly keen on explaining how to park otherwise. We managed to find a solution but not being from the area the parking isn’t easy to understand as it is for locals. It would maybe be good if they took more time to explain. Also food was an issue as their isn’t much in the area if you don’t want to venture into town or take the car out. There are sone good grocery stores just two minutes away on foot though for snacks and drinks!

Location was really nice with a beautiful view on the city. The neighborhood was absolutely warm with such a beautiful atmosphere. Breakfast excellent with good choice of food. Great starting point to visit Alsace.

To improve quality or choice of pillows as some people can have cervical problems; I would prefer a bit higher pillows but again , it's a marginal 'criticism'.

We stopped over at this hotel at the end of our holiday on the way home. We did not spend much time here, but the time we had here was great. The room was big and spacious, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fantastic. The view from the hotel and restaurant is gorgeous. And the breakfast in the morning was also very good value for money. This is a hotel I would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again we will be back.

Historical building with nice renovation. Amazing views from the balcony. Location is nice, 5 min drive to Lörrach center. Parking place in front of the hotel and additional area 2mins walk from hotel. For free. Comfy & very clean rooms. Late check-in & early check-out without hassle. Definetely recommended.

Nearly nothing, only thing that it could be improved is the pillow.

Nice place just outside Basel. Plenty of free parking available. The views are quite nice, especially from the breakfast area.

The room was huge with an incredible view from the balcony of the local vineyards. The hotel manages to combine a traditional exterior with bedroom modern decor. We enjoyed a drink (try the local wines!) on the panoramic terrace before heading out to explore the area. A local resident told us about the "Sammeltaxi" - a brilliant scheme where you call the number at the bus stop (50m from the hotel) and they give you a pick up time to take you into the city of Lörrach itself for the same price as the bus; we paid 5 Euros 40 return, dogs and all! The driver booked our return for us and recommended a great place to eat in the city centre. In true German tradition the breakfast, also served on the panoramic terrace, was amazing, with a variety of different bread rolls, jams, cheeses, coffee/tea, juice, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit and eggs cooked fresh on request, setting us up for the next leg of our journey.

Unfortunately, as vegetarians we found the options the dinner menu rather limited and very expensive, but there was nowhere else open in the village until the 26th. However, you'll see from the "What we did like" section that this didn't prove to be an issue!

Use it as basecamp while moving house. EXTRA friendly staff. Clean. Nice view on Loerrach. Parking reserved for the hotel on the other side of the street (not secure but this is in a very calm area - I left my truck full of boxes and furnitures there). Good breakfast. Restaurant is really good (but not cheap).

Sofa bed could have had a thicker mattress (a bit too hard for our taste)

Great location if you are looking for something outside of big city. There are vineyards 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast is average- several types of bread, cheese, some meat, yogurt and fruits. Not a lot of options, but fresh and tasty.

Staff do not speak English at all. We had several confusing moments, but overall it didn’t influenced our stay.

Great place everything was perfect and above my expectations . I wouldn't hesitate a minute to return or recommend to my friends or family .

Staff was friendly and room was more like a little condo than just a room .
