It was wonderful ! I went with my husband for our 5th anniversary, and right in the entrance my husband stated *We have to come back* The entire space was clean, very welcoming. The best part for me was the no children allow. The room was big enough, and the jaccouzi did work. The food was excellent. I highly recommend it. Plus the have some couple activities which make it less boring.

The only thing, I just which the bed was lightly longer or bigger, because my husband is almost 6ft tall, and his feet were hanging because the heart shape bed wasn't really big, but it was conftable.

We love the premium rooms that have the in suite personal swimming pool and sauna. The deer and squirrels that roam the property are cool too. You can buy feed for them at the gift shop and feed them all. The staff is curious, friendly, and helpful. In our opinion, this is the better location of their brand.

This is an aging resort that has had some renovations done, but the age still shows through in many areas. It was probably a cool place back in its heyday, but those times have passed, and there never seems to be a lot of other guests while we are there. It's definitely a great place to go, and have a peaceful retreat with your loved one! The light switches are all dirty, and some worn to the point of not functioning. There also seems to be multiple switches for all the suites lights, some in areas that make sense, and others are a mystery, so you may have to search and determine what operates what.

Our last night and day we had no power. A place this expensive should have a sufficient backup generator system in place. Weather cant be controlled but they slacked on the foresight to prepare to preserve their customers quality of stay. No reimbursement or rescheduling was offered and they will lose alot of repeat business for their "oh well,cant control the weather" attitude. Also I chose the eggplant for dinner and it was inedible for me.the sauce was bitter . I ate part of my wifes ribs which was very good

The 1st room we checked into the PTAC unit did not work. The quickly moved us to another room. We enjoyed the room , Loved the pool and the hot tub. It was our 1st time visiting the Poconos. The inclusive dinner and breakfast was amazing. The hostess and waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. The music entertainers did an amazing job. Cove Haven was just what my husband and I needed to help us with rest and relaxation.

The facilities itself seem to be outdated. The Schooners had a musty smell to it. You could tell it was older. However, the bartender was super nice and the games were so much fun.

The room was fantastic, and QUIET! Sure it looks a bit dated in spots but the pool, hot tub and round bed were just so much fun. Staff was quite lovely, Dennis the server was a trip! Check-in and out was fairly painless. Lots of activities too.

The restaurant food was good, but nothing to write home about. It had snowed during our stay and some of the roadways and walks weren't as well salted/cleared off as we would have liked. Also the room had no windows, which I assume was for privacy but it made it hard to gauge the time of day when waking up in the morning!

Everything. My boyfriend and I were here to celebrate our 7 year anniversary. It was absolutely the best trip we have ever had. We went mid week and there was still so much to do! Even with it being cold it was a blast! From bowling to archery they had so much to do on your own. Or you can do their scheduled activities like naughty pictionary, couples crafts, and almost impossible challenges! Our CXO Brittany was amazing! She had such great energy & her games were so fun! We got to know some couples there as well & had a blast with them in the activities! Our room was beautiful, a nice little living room area, super comfy bed in a separate room, and the heart shaped tub! The ceiling above our bed had starlights which was such a cute touch! And for those who love music, they have a blue tooth speaker for your room! The indoor pool and hot tub were super nice too! Plus they were open til 11! The dinner was delicious , honestly the salad bar was my favorite, plenty of variety. The live music and comedian We saw were fantastic! One-night we went to Spooners for dinner which was great bar food (burgers, tenders,etc)

We had to leave . Lol, seriously this place is a blast, we already are booking our next trip here

Absolutely loved the heart shaped Jacuzzi in our room, the musician and magician were very entertaining. Yummy drinks and we booked a massage which was amazing and super relaxing! The food was excellent as always! And super friendly staff!

Our coffee maker was nasty but they brought us a brand new one promptly! Also while they have a few new activities I was disappointed that a lot of the indoor activities they used to have are no longer like indoor archery and racketball. You can’t win tokens at the arcade games to use at the store anymore.

I like indoor pool and feeding the deer and finally find the bowling day before we left but wish we found it sooner. Like the room was dark.

The service at restaurant one was rude to me and couldn't get my couple massage that I wanted and had eat so late cause couldn't get earlier time and we couldn't eat breakfast the day we was leaving cause we had to leave early plus we lost water in our room for a while .The bed was hard .

I enjoyed the location and the facility. It's nice that it was all couples and no children or animals. It's nice that it was all inclusive and we didn't have to worry about purchasing anything for activities or food.

The only negative thing that comes to mind was the quality and condition of the mattress. It was so caved in in the center that you felt like you were sleeping in a cereal bowl. One of the things that everybody wants to experience when you're staying at a hotel is you want to feel like the room is fresh clean and that you are the only person that has ever been in that room. When the mattress is that deteriorated it only let your mind believe that there has been a lot of people that have been on that mattress before you.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at Cove Haven for our anniversary, and it was great! The food is always delicious, and the activities are fun—a great place to reconnect with your partner. Entertainment every day/night.

Our favorite CXO - Billy O, was not there this time. He is the BEST CXO and always has fun activities for couples. It was disappointing that he was not there over the 5 days we were there. Also, Spooner's closed super early every night, at 9 PM. It was difficult to enjoy all the activities, with breakfast ending at 11 AM and the activities not starting until 12 PM. Also, at night, after dinner ended around 8 PM or later, there was extremely limited time to have fun and enjoy the games and activities, with everything closing at 9 PM. Spooners should be open until midnight at least.
