Breakfast was £7.50 a head and first class , room was lovely and bed comfy.had meal at night in hotel choice was great and food was great . Sum up for the price it was well worth the money there where four of us up to fish on the North esk and would highly recommend the hotel all staff were friendly and helpful 👏🏻

Actually it was first class I’ve payed a lot more for hotel and been let down , we all thought it was well worth the money.

Well, this was a bit of a last minute booking as i was on the TGO. Was happy that something was avaialble in Edzell. These guys met my requirements, but after a long day and a few nights of a tent anything was good. I will say though that the Bathtub was a wonderful bonus, I ended up falling asleep for a good 45 minutes in the tub with a hot soak! So a great finish to a long grueling day..

Dinner on the Saturday night was lovely with everything fresh cooked and was a good price. The breakfast on the first day was lovely.

There was no note of breakfast times in the room and we were not told at check in, so we went down at 9.30 on the second morning & breakfast was finished so we had to go out.

Very comfortable room & bathroom, nice complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits. Excellent food & drink in the bar. The Panmure Arms is quite simply the best hotel for miles around & I hope to visit again next time I'm in the area!

The wifi works but isn't great - but you are in a very out of the way place here. It's to be expected & really no issue at all.

I booked via booking.com and paid £130 - breakfast was an additional charge. Had I booked directly with the hotel I would have paid £120 and breakfast was included.

No grab rail over the bath, shower dripped all night but this is being resolved with the replacement of a new shower.

Staff so friendly and helpful. The location was good and the area pretty quiet. We enjoyed dinner on the premises, which was great and good value. Breakfast in the morning was well priced for a cooked option. (Set price)

A typical nice pup hotel, good food, nice room, reasonable price, value for money and all staff friendly and trying hard, I’ve already rebooked and will use regular from now on I’ve stayed a few times before and it doesn’t disappoint, well done to the owners and staff.

Nothing, it’s not five star but great value for money clean homely hotel, Wi-Fi could be stronger in the room but apart form that I couldn’t fault it

Wonderfully old fashioned hotel in a beautiful old fashioned village. Friendly helpful staff, delicious home cooked food. Very generous portions!

Bathroom needs to be updated and the fan needs a wee clean. Bigger tea cups would be good-don't need saucers just coasters.

The beds in the Panmure are really comfortable and cosy. All the staff were extremely friendly and approachable. Carol who helped at breakfast was lovely, and smiley and got our day off to a fantastic start. The food was delicious too.

The bathroom is looking a little tired but it was spotless.
