The location of this property is superb… just 2 mins away from piazza navona. Castel san’t angelo is 10 Mins away, pantheon 8 mins away, trevi fountain around 10-15 mins away. There are supermarkets and lots of restaurants around. No need to worry about taxis as they are always lining outside the hotel ( was surprised about the taxi fare in Rome, it is not that expensive to get around the place). They also have a terrace restaurant to enjoy the view of rome whilst having some drinks and food. Try the Rosamunda resto just beisde the hotel their food is amazing!!! Very casual on the go pizzeria but they have seats as well inside. My bedroom is spacious, bed is comfy and they have a mini fridge inside the room as well. Oh and they have a lift but only 3 pax can fit in there at a time 😀

I did not like that i was checked in 30 mins late than usual because they are still cleaning the room. I encountered another guest at the lift as well and she mentioned she was checked in a bit late as well. The only little thing that i did not like about my room was the portraits lining on the walls…haha! I mean maybe they can change it cause it can be a bit creepy sleeping with a portrait infront of your bed holding a skull?hahaha. I mean i understand they have this renaissance vibe of the room but maybe the hotel can change some of its painting decors in the room…😀

Location, Location, Location is everything and this hotel is walking distance of basically everything one would want to see. Lungotrastevere (Tiber River) is just a couple minute walk from the hotel. From there one can cross over the bridges to the other side where many other attractions are located. The terrace is a fantastic place for breakfast or an afternoon aperitivo. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is clean. I like to listen to city noise when falling asleep so the noise from the street did not bother me as I keep windows open at night. The elevator worked but I always take the stairs for extra exercise! The room was cleaned everyday. There are great restaurants nearby. I was a solo female traveler and felt entirely safe at the hotel and surrounding area. Bus stops not even half a block away.

The ONLY complaint I have is the breakfast is far from appetizing. The fruit looks like it was previously frozen and then thawed. The breakfast is set out way before breakfast opens up at 8:00 a.m. and just sits there.

Everything was perfect! Clean, tidy, enough bathroom supplies - such as soap, shower gel, toilet paper, towels etc. Staff was wonderful, always willing to help, we had to have the check-in later and one of staff was waiting there for us. The room was something else! We didn’t know what to expect at first, since we have never had this kind of historical apartment, but it was lovely! Location was absolutely amazing, close by feet almost everywhere (we used metro only twice). Taxis were all around the hotel, so there were absolutely no issues with finding a taxi to get to the airport (Ciampino) for 31€ only! View from the rooftop was lovely. Overall, we definitely recommend staying in Antica Dimora!

It wasn’t something to dislike as such, but when we were looking for the hotel, it was a bit hard to find on the street, since the sign is quite small. We have to emphasize that it was around midnight when we arrived, but found it within 3 minutes (pictures helped)

This hotel is in an amazing location. We were able to walk to all the major sites and take breaks at the hotel when needed. Our room was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the safe and refrigerator in the room. The rooftop bar is gorgeous - the garden is outstanding.

The bathroom, although clean, looked like it could use a deep cleaning along the grout. The air conditioning was regulated by the hotel, so we couldn’t change it. Though the room was cooler than outside, it was not as cool as we preferred. Unfortunately, the drinks on the rooftop were very pricey.

We had a fun view down onto the street and across to the roof tops next door. Location is great, can walk easily to all of central Rome if you are reasonably fit. We walked to the Vatican, to Trastevere and to the Coloseum. The view of the roof tops of Rome from the roof top bar was wonderful, great place for an evening drink (Probably recommend not buying food here, quality average). There are some terrific restaurants in the streets and alleys nearby. Some amazing churches and palazzos within a block. Plenty of cafes nearby for an espresso and cornetto breakfast too. Decor a little toward bordello which was amusing.

Room was a little dark, brighter lights would have been helpful. Bar food not great considering the quality we could get for much less in the streets around the hotel. Just buy a drink, enjoy the views and then head out to the local streets.

The room was super clean. The moment we entered the room we smelled the chlorine. They tidy the room every day. The location is perfect. I suggest you dine in the rooftop at least once during your stay, and try the carbonara and risotto or just enjoy a glass of wine. Don’t forget to ask for the main door code as it may be locked at night.

A few minor issues are that the nightstands are not nightstands per se, the wallpapers could need a redo, the room is a tad dark, and the closet was missing a handle. Truly minor issues that didn’t really affect our stay.

It was a convenient location, within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go in Rome, right around the corner from Piazza Navona. From here we walked to Castel San'Angelo, the Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Foundation, Roman Forum & Colosseum. We enjoyed the lovely rooftop breakfast, with a spectacular view of Rome.

It was difficult to find at first. The room is quite small, but sufficient. It was unfortunate we had chosen a non-flexible tariff as we needed to change our plans and lost money on an extra night. Might have been cheaper to pay extra for the flexibility!

The location, just steps from the Piazza Navonna is excellent. The staff are friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and a decent size. The decor is really special - no, I wouldn't do my living room up in this style, but it is fun and really creates an atmosphere. The breakfast is great and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking.

Only small things really. There was an issue with our shower drain, but it was fixed immediately. The rooftop could benefit from a bit more shade (we travelled in August).
