Breakfast at Aviator was good. The room was as advertised online. Spacious and comfortable. Good TV selections. The view was perfect. Ocean side 5th floor balcony. Exactly what we were hoping for. The staff through out the hotel were all wonderful. The pier was beautiful too.

The dinners at the Aviator was not as good as the breakfast. But the service was good.

Great location. When you first walk in it was very impressively decorated and smelled so clean. The fish tanks were gorgeous and exceptionally clean.

There was nothing about the property that we did not like.

Very helpful front desk service from Chris, Jemimah and Lesley. Very professional. Also, the Aviator restaurant provided good meals and courteous young ladies who served us. Kudos to the restaurant manager and chefs! Staff on our floor was also very helpful. Must put in a good word for Patty who worked on the Kitty Hawk Pier. Very nice lady. Our room was very clean- and our ocean front view was excellent as was the beach for swimming.

Elevators not always working properly for our four- day stay.

The beach was semi busy, but quiet. Easy access to the beach. The hotel was clean and up to date.

The bottom floor beachside has no view and no privacy. The sidewalk is In Front of the patio. If you like to be social the bottom floor is great. For me I could have been up a floor. Privacy and maybe some type of view besides the sidewalk and pool.

My family and I loved the location, it’s proximity to the beach, pier and highway. We loved the Tiki Bar and Grill outside for lunches. We enjoyed breakfast inside. We liked the option of both an indoor and outdoor pool along with the tables outside by the pool.

The temperature of the outside was a little warm while the indoor poor was super cold. The floors near the inside pool were also very dirty. The water in the outside pool was super cloudy and filled with bugs and other garbage and we never saw anyone cleaning it. Several times my kids and I looked for towels and there would either be 1 left or none. Also several of the lounge chairs were either stained or dirty.

I liked that the pier was free for hotel guests. My wife loved the heated indoor pool. The hotel was very clean. I liked how there was a full menu available for those that wanted to sit down and order in the food area of the lobby.

I know it's a nit picky item, but the trash cans in the room were tiny. If you're going to fix meals in the room with the microwave, food boxes and such will fill those cans in no time. Also I would have liked to have a small selection of breakfast items available that were included in the room price.

The location is wonderful. You can't beat having the beach and pier right outside the door. There's restaurants and stores close by. The lobby is really nice and we enjoyed breakfast downstairs. The hotel serving breakfast was convenient for us because other restaurants were jammed packed. My family and I really enjoyed our stay.

The room itself was nice but the sheets on one of the beds had stains and the pillows could be better. The bathroom needs to be renovated and wasn't cleaned very good. Hair was everywhere in the bathroom I don't know if that was from the previous people or the hotel cleaning staff. If you don't redo the whole bathroom please do something about the tub and shower it really needs repairs done. The money spent we as customers should have a better bathroom that you feel comfortable in and shouldn't have to clean it yourself like I did. I'm not saying don't stay here because you can't beat the location and they have everything you need the beach, pools and a pier. The bathrooms just need a little upgrading.

We loved the Hilton Garden Inn's location. We loved all the amenities including direct access to the beach as well as access to the indoor pool & fitness center. We also loved the acceptance of family pets, their cleanliness, the staff friendliness & ongoing support from Raven.

We didn't like that there wasn't a free hot continental breakfast option. We also didn't like all the sand in the indoor jacuzzi.

We had the side view of the ocean and southern OBX. It was March, so not a full hotel. They had our room on the inside looking at the rooms in the other building, so I asked for one on the side with a view. We were on the 5th floor. Loved the outdoor sitting areas, both in the chairs looking at the beach and the outside gas fire pit with rocking chairs at night. It was a warmer night for March so we took advantage of it. Beds were comfortable.

I didn't care for the bathroom! It was very outdated, old tub and wallpaper, etc. But the worst was the lighting in the bathroom. It was blinding!!! It would have been nice to have to sets of lights in there. The light was also too bright at the hallway door where you hang your clothes outside of the bathroom. That was blinding too. Breakfast was okay, average quality and not much to choose from.

Breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly. Oceanview walk to beach.pool clean towels provided. Umbrellas for beach at a cost.Best location to see all the island has to offer. We loved our stay.would reccomend it .

Flys in dining area.breakfast and dinner. Visited their 4 times. Flys are a problem. Dinner is prepared like a cafeteria experience. Was there 8 nights. No one cleaned the room floors are laminate.
