Easy access to check in desk in this site which needed outside approach. Well lit parking and generous width parking slip

There was no added door safety cross bar, no snack machine to get pastry, crackers or juice. Sweet n low is out of the question for most who use artificial sugar. Needs at least Splenda or Equal. Metal bed base responds noisy with movement. Despite my not being heavy or tall

We stopped in town on our way to Cherokee to rest for the night. Our remote was confusing to us so the gentleman who works there helped my husband figure it out and he was soooo nice and so patient. The room was perfect, cozy and clean. All we needed. My son and I even walked through town and there was a band playing by the riverside. Apparently they do it every Friday night. Really great stay. Will definitely stay again

This is an older hotel but clean as a whistle! I've been in 4 star hotels that weren't this clean. The owners are the sweetest people. They go above and beyond and are so genuinely nice. Will probably be our little Go-To place from now on when we're not in a secluded cabin. You can walk to downtown Sylva but you're tucked away on a nice flowing clear creek. The only reason I put nine Stars instead of 10 was because the drink machines did not work and all the stores were closed when we realized it. Will definitely be back again and again.

Apartments down past the hotel a little loud but nothing major. Drink machine didn't work.

Close to the road but it was surprisingly quiet. Can’t help the location as it is obviously an older establishment but so clean and updated.

Our family (me, my husband and our 4 young adult children) stayed at this motel for WCU family weekend. The lady at the counter was so nice and welcoming! The rooms were very clean and the beds were SUPER COMFY!

The rooms were on the smaller side but the beds were so comfy it didn't even matter!

Very clean and beds were super comfortable. I think this is what some refer to as a “gem”. Doesn’t look great from the outside and inside isn’t fancy. Clean and comfortable are what I look for. Other places were charging twice as much as these folks. We stayed in Room 316. It was on the end of the building. laminate floors instead of yucky carpet. There is a railroad track right in front of the building but it is no longer active. There is a nice park across from the motel and also the main traffic road. We never heard any traffic noise. Owners and staff we very pleasant. You cannot check in before 3:00PM. I would definitely stat here again.

One of the beds was tight going around it to get to the sink.

Convenient to WCU, downtown Sylva, and Dillsboro. Great stream runs right behind the motel.

The parking lot entrance was awkward. The only USB port near the bed had no power going to it.

The place was very convenient to everything we had going on during the weekend. The rooms were very clean. The creek behind the place was beautiful. It was WCU Graduation weekend and all the other Hotels raised their rates so this was very affordable. I will stay here again.

We were so active this weekend that we were not in the room much. If we were needing to be in the room all day it was a little small. But it was nice.

Right next to the river was very nice and close to downtown.

Everything was excellent except for the bed. The Bed was a little hard.

Really nice people. Excellent location.

Thin walls. We could hear every conversation and the televisions on either side of our room.
