Spacious cabins. Very clean. Well presented, perhaps recently spruced up so in the main looks new. Cutlery and crockery for 5 people - as is the accommodation. Nice clean, big barbecue on the front verandah. (Saw a pair of Pacific Bazas up close being all lovey, dovey - which I have not seen before.)

Nothing really: as far as I could tell there was no WiFi (they might have had it, but I never got around to asking because we were only there one night.) But hey, you are out in the bush, and you have the birds as company - you can go without Facebook for a night or two, or go to the pub 3 km down the road, mingle with the locals and do your WiFi there.

good location in out of town and in the bush. Lack of wifi in the cabin meant that family got to spend time together rather than everyone self isolating with their devices. Great to sit on the verandah watching the birds coming and going early in the morning.

This location offered the experience of cave tours departing from reception - The tour price was quite steep making it prohibitive for us to participate. There did not appear to be a cheaper option to see these caves.

Cabins were well equipped, clean and spacious Every utensil was in the kitchen including egg cups this never happens Full size fridge Tea Coffee biscuits milk tissues and toilet paper all in good supply Air con was cold and worked well Set in nature and secluded yet close walk down to reception and tour area. Coffee was delicious and we loved the cute bat cookies. Staff were amazing, friendly and informative made us feel so welcomed and included Tour of the caves (cathedral tour) was phenomenal and our guide was so passionate and clearly loved her job the science week activities were fantastic

Honestly nothing Exceeded expectations

Loved the lodge - super clean, really well resourced kitchen, very comfortable beds and a good bathroom. We loved the balcony outside, great for sundowners and listening to the sounds of the woodland around us. It felt very special and we loved our stay there. Pool was very nice and a welcome addition. Did a trip round the caves and really enjoyed the adventure.

Staying right at The Capricorn Caves themselves in a lovely bush setting (complete with a wallaby with joey!) was great! The cabin could accommodate 6 people and had a large kitchen and sitting area. There was also a big deck with dining table and BBQ at the cabin entrance. Parking was right next to the cabin.

With only the 2 of us, the accommodation was a little expensive, but for a family or friends group of 6 it would work out very at a per person rate. However, if it is a group of friends, then bedding configurations could be an issue - there is a room with a queen bed and then another room with 2x bunk beds. Maybe scissors, paper, rock could help decide who sleeps where... I also couldn't get the microwave to heat anything. I couldn't find any instructions to help out either... And be warned - with all the beautiful greenery around there are also hundreds of mozzies! Remember the Aerogard and "avagoodweegend"!

The cabin were very clean and tidy, kitchen is well-equipped. If I have to pick on anything it would be the bed, it was a tad hard and only because I love a softer bed. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and cheery. We also did the cave tour and totally enjoyed tour. We had no internet connection, but for us that wasn't problem. 😊❤️

A very large cottage in the bush with a large terrace and barbecue. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bathroom, well-functioning air conditioning. Quiet place, it's good to come with shopping to prepare a meal. Nice service. There are many beautiful birds around, an interesting bush tour explaining the plants and animals found here. Most importantly, right next to the very interesting Capricorn Cave. You must visit it.

Weak wifi, but it's not the most important thing.

Great staff, loved the caves tour and high quality BBQ on the deck at the cabin. The mosquito coil meant we could enjoy being outdoors. The cabin had a generous size which was nice.

There was no reception or WiFi in the cabin itself however you could walk a few mins to reception and use the free guest WiFi.

The location was excellent, the cottages were comfy with a few resident lizards which was amusing. The wildlife was great. The bush turkeys were really entertaining. The cave tours are amazing!

The wifi was a bit shy of great, especially when night time hits.
