The room and views were amazing. Even though the weather wasn't the best when we arrived, the view was spectacular once the clouds cleared. Views of Hanging Rock are fantastic. The breakfast supplies were wonderful although we really only had toast rather than the full bacon and eggs as we were going to a lunch which we knew was going to be substantial. Decor and ambiance were all faultless.

We could hear conversation and tv noise from the room next to us but not sure if they had their tv up louder than usual or the walls may need a little bit more insulation. On our second night we didn't hear anything!

Breakfast/lunch provisions including bacon, eggs, sourdough loaf, cherry tomatoes, oats, cereals, butter, milk and spreads. Other snacks included mixed nuts, crackers with cheese spread. The bed was super comfy. Modern and spacious room. We made use of the table and chairs outside the suite to watch the kangaroos, enjoy the views of Hanging Rock and eat some of our meals. Kitchen items provided including induction cooktop. Additional teas, cocoa, fruit and biscuits provided in large dining and lounge area at the entrance to the suites. Excellent communication from property manager with updates re total fire ban days, places to visit, eateries etc. and replied in a timely manner to any matters we raised. Plenty of space to wander around the property with outdoor BBQ area and art installations.

The location is fantastic. It is very private and the room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. A huge bonus for us was the wildlife - loads of kangaroos and a family of deer to watch with morning coffee.

The room allows for self catering, which is the main reason we booked this accommodation. Unfortunately, the work space for preparing any meal is very limited and becomes very cluttered. Even preparing the breakfast (from the generous quantity of ingredients which were provided) was a bit of a challenge with the limited power points and bench space. That said, the stay was very enjoyable and we did manage to self cater.

Excellent ingredients were provided so that we could make our own breakfast, using the excellent range of cooking equipment provided. I particularly liked the the set up whereby there was a very comfortable private lobby area which was available to guests, in addition to the very well- appointed bedrooms. The extensive views looking on to the very large property, with a large mob of kangaroos arriving right outside the window every night, was a real bonus. Absolutely every piece of equipment that you could possibly need, was provided.

It was hard to identify anything I didn’t like! I like a flatter pillow and if I had one suggestion to make, it would be to provide two different pillows to appeal to all comers.

The location is absolutely beautiful, we saw the sun rise, & then set, amongst beautiful grounds with about 100 kangaroos whilst staring directly at Hanging Rock. It's amazing. Breakfast was beautiful & plentiful, bacon, eggs, delicious sourdough and lots of other nice things to eat too. The fire pit is a hit, what a beautiful place to stay. The property itself is exceptional. The views and tranquility are superb. As a photographer, I felt spoilt by the location along with the 300 odd Kangaroos who seemed so peaceful in my presence. The accommodation is exceptional- living up to all expectations plus more. The hosts have thought of everything- the attention to detail is greatly appreciated. The bed is immensely comfortable and the electric blankets make it very cosy. The kitchen works beautifully for a small space and all things one reaches for are there. Apart from the above, what I really appreciated was the cleanliness and hospitality. Since Covid lockdowns, I’ve spent much of my budget for international trips on regional ones and this particular place is absolutely wonderful. You won’t regret staying here, it’s perfect :)

The Roos!! And the view from the room is amazing - both mornings we wake up to an open plain dotted with numerous Kangaroos grazing. On a clear day, I bet we can see all the way to the Hanging Rock as we could see the property as we hiked up to the summit. The room is modern, clean and cosy. The shared area of the kitchen and living area is comfortable and warm. The property is huge and you can take a stroll to the cascades at the back, or also do a 2km hike, or just say hi to the Roos. Too bad we couldn't make time to enjoy the open fire and cook a meal with the huge BBQ at the communal Gazebo. It's just perfect for a mini get away from the city. (We've got an upgrade and were staying at the King Suite)

Lovely location with serene views across the countryside. Very well appointed, warm and very comfortable. Included breakfast was plentiful. Shared lounge area was very nicely furnished and encouraged relaxation. Contactless check-in and departure was most efficient; good communication from host. Loved the views of the kangaroos around the property.

Minor issue -Tap to the bath was broken and water didn’t run hot sufficiently to fill.

Loved the small details that made our 4 nights feel like home. Breakfast was lovely but was not delivered daily as we had presumed. Bed and pillows were heavenly. Bed is on the medium - firm side of comfort, which we prefer. TV is great for a movie night and can be mobile from its wall mount to watch in bed. Overall we loved our stay.

Minor issues with air-conditioning unit not cooling, but management are aware and sorting this out. Accommodates outside smoking and has ashtrays and small table and chairs on private patios. This is confusing as several memos and house rules state no smoking and no exceptions. However, management had confirmed via messages that smoking was accommodated outside

The place was spotless, everywhere was gleaming and fresh paint, everything. So well equipped, even left fresh fruit in the lounge. Outside was immaculate, well looked after and so many places to sit in the shade and take in the breathtaking scenery. Kangaroos came right up to our wee porch.

I can't think of anything, cleanest and best equipped place I've stayed.
