Exceptional service and communication. Spotlessly clean. Quirky, interesting artwork and decor. Cozy, chic, well-priced suite with an extremely comfortable bed. The Armstrong provides adorably packaged ear plugs, with the inscription, "Silence is Golden," which I promptly swiped but did not use. The moment the train whistled through, I fell right to sleep. The staff is amazing and the location is perfectly situated between Old Town and CSU campus. Highly recommend!
Change-of season issues - It was super chilly (40-50-ish?) and the split-system heat was not on/still set to cool when we arrived around 6PM. I thought we set it to warm up before going out to dinner nearby, but returned about an hour later to a still-chilled room. The room phone did not connect to the front desk, so I texted (awesome feature). Ed's response was prompt, and we had the room heated up quickly with his help. It also would have been nice to have a pocket or barn door to close off the main sleeping area from the living area. All that was minor, however, and the service/comfort more than made up for those notes. I would LOVE to stay here again and will make this my go-to spot if my son ends up at CSU.

Great location to enjoy old town in Fort Collins. Stylish, clean, and special rooms. Tiled bathroom and old town feel. I could sense the wonderful history of the area in comfort. There are ear plugs in the room and a white noise radio device just in case guests can't sleep due to "downtown" noises (neither of which did we need to use). We heard the train pass by once, but only faintly. Slept solidly. No complaints! Front desk staff especially Trie were welcoming and kind. Bathroom amenities felt luxurious and smelled subtle and lovely. I am happy to see you use refillable bathroom amenity bottles to reduce plastic waste. Plenty of AC and clean, soft bedding. In-room Nespresso machine produced strong, delicious coffee in the morning. We appreciated our first, long-awaited experience at the Armstrong!
Can't think of anything.

We loved the location in Ft Collins as we were able to easily access great restaurants, craft beer bars, CSU, and a network of walking/biking trails on foot. Additionally, there were breweries, golf courses and other activities within a few short minutes by car. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we also loved having the restaurant and cocktail bar right there at the hotel.
The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but by no means a deal breaker especially in a vintage building like The Armstrong!

I was upgraded to a king bed which was a wonderful surprise. The room was beautiful and cozy. Loved the decor and style. They had a sound machine playing chirping birds when I walked in which set a lovely ambiance to the room. The cocktail lounge/ restaurant was great! There was a live pianist which set the mood. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming and the cocktails were unique and delicious. I lived in Fort Collins for many years and was back visiting. I decided to treat myself to the well known Armstrong Hotel and I'm extremely glad I did. I would definitely stay here again!
Nothing.

Lovely hotel - excellent location and it was a very clean spacious room. I didn't realize it was a dog friendly hotel until I saw a number of dogs there but it was fun to see them. I would definitely stay there again.
The train sounded its horn and woke us up twice in the middle of our first night but to be fair they had provided ear plugs which we opted not to use. We didn't hear the train the second night. Only other issue was that the body wash provided ran out in the middle of my shower.

We were staying for one night at the end of a 3 week road trip, before flying home from Denver the following day. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was in a really good location, with dining, bar, coffee bar and self parking lots, within very easy walking distance of restaurants in the downtown area. On arrival the staff were very welcoming. Ed upgraded us to a king room, which was exactly as expected, clean and comfortable. We will stay again if we’re in the area and flying from Denver.

The design and artwork were really cool. The staff were the best in the business. Rooms were a bit on smaller side but were absolutely perfect for what i needed. Felt more like a home than a hotel. The attached ace gillet restaurant had a speak easy feel. Very cool all around. And the location is the best in Fort Collins. I could walk to see my daughter on campus at CSU and walk to old town. Perfect!
There was not much i didn’t like. If there was anything it would be the size of the rooms but for one or even two people it’s perfect.

The rooms were clean, spacious enough ( not huge for the type that I purchased), bathrooms were well appointed and modern, all had vinyl and a record player which was really fun. Nice little sitting area with pretty good views from the 7th floor room we had. Top deck with pool, hot tub, synthetic ice rink and bar was fantastic. Great view. Pool heated just enough to cool you off from the hot tub and the hot tub wasn't too hot, enabling us to enjoy it for over an hour on a cold night. Very fun. The all day and night fancy coffee service was great, and the 3-6pm Happy Hour with all you can drink, basically wine and beer, was a very nice touch. The white was really good for a freebie! Location is FANTASTIC for walking the shops and the holiday market which was open while we stayed there. You are right next to a ton of restaurants and Whole Foods, as well as shops and the Cherry Creek Mall.
The valet parking was 54/night. That is outrageous! The other options were not appealing at all, so I just did it. But that takes a nightly rate and adds on another 20% or so to the rate. I guess the Happy Hour and coffee service made up for that rate.

We loved staying in this hotel. You could not ask for a better location. It is easy to park and walk around for food, entertainment, etc. Tons of restaurants, cafes, stores within a few steps from the hotel. The hotel also has food and we had a small meal that was very good. The hotel is also super cute and provides easy parking.
The hotel stairs could have been cleaner. There are places along the baseboards, etc. that need to be repainted. I don't think they were dirty but they look a bit worn. I'm sure that that type of upkeep is a constant in an older hotel. Our room faced the street so it was loud. Earplugs and a sound machine were provided. I both liked and disliked the noise.

The area is perfect for a stay in Fort Collins, walkable to many bars, restaurants and venues in the area. We have stayed her twice and both times the staff have been fantastic. The text service they provide to be able to conveniently make requests is great, and the front desk are always super helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated.
The rooms are a little on the small side, and for a couple of nights we were given one of the family style rooms with the adjoining door, which makes for a lot of noise from the next room (and I'm sure they could hear us too!)
