The property has charm and character with all the modern touches to make your stay comfortable. The check in is efficient and thorough and Mark messaged via text to make sure we had all we needed in advance of arrival. Breakfast was really delicious, and the quality of the produce was really impressive. The room was spacious and bright and the honesty bar a lovely touch, with ice and a slice available from the front reception room self-service bar.

Great location, beautifully clean, lovely hosts, more like a small hotel than a b&b. Beautiful views from the sea view rooms. Honestly bar is a great touch, good quality coffee and tea in the room. We have been coming to Cowes for years this is definitely in our top two places to stay, and considering the price this will definitely our new go to place to stay. A small fridge in the room would have been great.

The staff were so friendly, available, and helpful even late at night, beyond reasonable working hours! There was a point we needed more toilet roll at around 1 in the morning, we messaged the owners to let them know, and they responded and resolved the issue within about 5 minutes. The room was VERY clean, and that's coming from a clean freak! We loved the guest basket, which gave us access to many useful travel amenities, snacks, drinks, toiletries and to my pleasant surprise, a shaving kit with shaving cream, which I had to purchase as I forgot mine at home. The Caledon is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, by a long shot. They're doing it right. The owners are intimately in touch with what people would want from a hotel/guest house. They provided everything you could ask for and more! Breakfast delivered straight to your room, tailored to your requests, is also a tremendous treat! Not a bad word to say about this wonderful place! Choose this one! Stop scrolling!

Great communication, instructions for self check in very clear. Very well thought out with online breakfast ordering and the honesty payment system with QR codes for items. This does however require at least one person having a smart phone.

Should you choose to park at the guesthouse, there is a small chance of getting blocked in if guests don't use the car key boxes or they're not available to move.

Everything about this guest house was excellent, from location, room, breakfast and the relaxed vibe the hosts have developed.

The only small negative I had was, once I had booked accommodation ‘with parking’ this turned out to be tandem parking and might have been an issue (if you don’t want to leave your car keys at reception). Visiting in November I was able to find parking round the corner, which won’t be as easy in the summer.

The Caledon experience is so flexible - if you don't want or need to you can get in, check in, get your key and go to your room with no interaction with the (very friendly) staff or owners at all. You can even enjoy the snacks and drinks on offer using the trust bar and online payments. If you prefer to speak to them, then this is possible as well. And Andrea and Mark are very friendly and helpful. Oh, and the breakfast.... Wow!

Cannot fault the experience at all.

Breakfast was brilliant and very tasty. Easy access. Great for bikers and everything you needed was there. The guest house was very clean and tidy. Well kept and all neccesary facilities were available considering we booked it just 2 hours before arrival :)

Clean, comfortable room with lovely view of the Solent. Trouble free checking in with plenty of information for our stay. Many delicious choices for breakfast and although we didn't use the mini bar and thoughtful extras, we were very impressed. Never had hair straighteners before in a room, thank you.
