We had the most delightful stay at this charming hotel in Lucca! Luca, the host, offered attentive service and fantastic recommendations for things to do around town. The hotel itself is special—there’s a unique charm that makes you feel right at home. Our room was spacious, clean, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast each morning was amazing, with a great variety of options that catered to every taste. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the heart of Lucca, making it easy to explore all the sights while enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. And there‘s free parking, which we found a great asset.

We had a great week at this property, it's in an excellent location for Lucca town centre (5 min walk away), but also if you want to explore further via train (20 min walk) or car. The host Luca was also great and very helpful for any requests we had. Pharmacy nearby, a few restaurants also close if you don't want to venture into the walled city. Also there are only 7/8 rooms so you receive a bit more of a personal service. 20min drive from Pisa airport.

The softness of the bed was not to our liking but Luca fixed this and there was a bit of minor noise from the shower next door otherwise it was very quiet. Driving into the car park is tight so hire a small car.

i would love to give more Stars for this...we loved our stay in Luca's Villa. It's a beautiful and special place...all decorated and furnished with love and sense for a really good style, which reminds you of the time of the 1920s...but it doesnt look old though...it comes across modern in a different way and clean anyway. Luca and the staff are so Kind, the room was clean and especially it was wonderful decorated...the breakfast was very good too, Luca tries to give you everything you want and helps you with any Kind of question. the location is perfect too, you walk 5 Minutes to the wall and the historic Center. So i can only highly recommend this place...Grazie Luca.

We strongly recommend staying here if you are ever in Lucca. Our host, Luca, was exceptional. His warm welcome, friendliness, and helpful nature really made the stay special. The attention to detail was impeccable - candles lit each night, lovely scent throughout the property, bug spray put out in the garden each day - just to name a few! There was secure parking that was free and easy to access. The breakfast served each morning (in the garden) was perfect and lots of coffee options were great as well! Wonderful room with a nice view and modern bathroom. Fully stocked mini fridge and an aircon for the hot summer nights. Finally - the room was absolutely spotless. Couldn't even find a speck of dust anywhere! WE WILL BE BACK!

This is a great choice if you love historic villas and look for something very close to the old town. The staff was very friendly, we loved staying in the villa and having breakfast outside in the garden. It is also great that there are bikes on the property, which can be rented for a small fee and that there is parking available in the garden or around the villa. The room was clean and spacious.

During the night there was an ongoing noise that could be heard in the room, possibly from the AC in the rooms above. Maybe check when booking if you have a light sleep.

The property is easily accessible from the autostrada and a just a short walk from the city walls. We loved our room with its tasteful decoration and original shutters - lovely! It was cool and comfortable, and had an en-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries. Luca was very welcoming and gave useful information about how to access the main points to visit on our short stay. Unfortunately, we couldn't do justice to the amazing array of breakfast options, but we enjoyed eating in the garden surrounded by all the beautiful plants, flowers and the perfume of the jasmine! There were so many little but thoughtful additional touches that added to the ambience and to the pleasure of our stay. Highly recommended!

Luca is a very kind and helpful man, the place is lovely and very cosy. He is doing everything for his guests and contacted you by text messages before arrival to make sure you arrived to the right street for the parking. The surrounding are kept nice and clean and the way the breakfast is served is perfect. You choose what you want and it is all placed on a tray and the lady helping comes with the tray to where you sit. We were sitting outside in the beautiful little garden. Really a nice little paradise where everything is done to make you feel like home.

I have literally never stayed in hotel so well run. Luca, the manager, is a star — he goes out his way to plan every little detail and moment of your stay, from the feast-like breakfast to the preparation of the room. The place is a perfect blend of high-end hotel pampering and local homestay feeling. The location is great too, 5 minutes walk from the historic centre yet private and quiet. Great value for money and overall one of the best experiences I had in 40 years of travelling.

Superb Host! Luca (host) is just one of his kind. Very kind and generous man. Made us a great introduction to a city of Lucca in which we stayed for about a week, told us many usefull things about the coast, Lucca tourism seasons and restaurants. We were amazed by the level of hospitality and kindness we experienced. About the apartment - super clean, spacious and quiet. Parking - just great. Breakfast in the garden - omg, it was amazing to have that every morning. Thanks so much for the stay and see you next year! We will be back for sure!

Excellent location just outside the city walls, and an easy flat walk into the centre or to the railway station for good connections to Pizza. Also a good choice of restaurants within the city close by. Lovely breakfast, served by Luca, which could be taken in the beautiful garden on fine mornings. Most attractive old villa which was easy to find, aided by excellent directions from the owners. Probably the one most important facility for us was secure parking in the courtyard for our classic car which was our reason for booking, and proved a splendid choice in every way.
