The proximity to the beach was mindblowing. This is what we loved the most. It was just a few steps away from the room and we could hear the waves even as we slept at night. Simply perfect. The breakfast was delicious. A different thing everyday and always fresh fruits and juice. Eating while watching the waves and the sun reflecting on the blue water was simply magnificent. The staff were understanding even when we were late they still saved us our share. The beach was amazing. It was clean and peaceful and we sat there till early in the morning listening to the waves and it was the most romantic thing. The safety was another thing we appreciated alot. Being on the beach till 3am watching the stars without a care in the world is irreplaceable. We felt at home both at Jambiani and in the surrounding areas. Paje town was close. It had more restaurant variety and we appreciated that. We had the time of our lives and it will always be an extra special memory. Would reccommend and would go back again.

We would have liked more closet space in the rooms.

Location delightful on Jambiani Beach, with a very small number of rooms. We had an ocean view room with wide picture windows. Very comfortable with great bed, air con, fan, fridge, own bathroom. Staff were super friendly and owner-hostess warmly welcoming. Amazing massage by loca;l Zanzibarian masseuse. Good range of tasty, reasonably priced food choices.

Power failures - a feature of Zanzibar. Being hassled my "Massai" youn men on the beach to buy / buy / buy or sign up for activities. This facility does not sell alcohol (Islamic) but several outlets 2kms towards Paje village.

This place is Halaal, has good breakfast and fresh fruit juices the best on the island. The rooms are cleaned every morning fresh and cute bedding design changes with flowers which really just make your day. The young staff keep the place bubbly Ibrahim and muddy really were great tour guides. Always on time and never in a bad mood. In fact this place surprised me every day it gets even more beautiful

The beds make a lot of noise during sleep moving around it wakes you up every time, you also sink or roll to the middle of the bed. It’s not comfortable at all. The toilet seat was loose which they replaced during our stay which I was grateful for however the whole toilet moves when you sit on it and waking up at 3am to do se the toilet and forgetting might just fall.

Quiet discreet charming and right on tge beach.

Very good value for money, we received exactly what we expected. The location is great, the beach in front of the bungalows is great, breakfast was very cool with big portions and variable extras. Lots of great places to eat in the neighbourhood, attentive staff, comfortable bed. It was a very pleasant stay.

We were generally satisfied with the room. Pillows are tiny bit uncomfortable and sometimes it was a little noisy in the morning with people shouting in the garden.

We had a beachfront view and loved the sunrises. Breakfast included was nice and the daily cleaning of the rooms was appreciated! We loved being able to walk right out to the beach within seconds of leaving our room.

Being beachfront I was looking forward to sitting on our balcony a lot, but unfortunately the sellers on the beach were constantly approaching the fence a few feet away from us. Anytime we went out there we were interrupted

The room was as expected, clean, simple and perfectly located on the beach. The food was also very good, with fresh fruit every breakfast and a good variety of dinner alternatives. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, and a great driver who actually followed the rules and who made me safe in the traffic. The stay met my expectations to the full!

Difficult to walk on the beach without being approached by local offers, all the time. Ok the first few times, but a bit too much after the first day... Nothing related to the hotel!

Good location next to the beach and within walking distance of many good restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

The property could use a facelift. There were visible tarps on the thatched roofs. The rooms are in need of some general maintenance, eg., toilet was loose, window screen had holes, the railing was broken, we were without water a couple of times. This was often resolved within an hour.

The hotel is located at one of the best places in Jambiani, with a nice white sands beach (the name says it all) that has low and high tides, watersports available on the spot and most importantly in a quiet environment where there is still a vibrant life in the village behind. The good thing about Jambiani White Sands Bungalows is that the chefs in the restaurants are really good, the food is tasty, the prices are fair and the portions big. The workers are friendly and always ready to assist you. Thank you Diana, Suleiman, Rashid, Jacob, Izak, and all other friendly staff! The lounge area makes it easy to make friends and relax in the afternoon when the sun is bright. The best thing about the place, which you wouldn't say at first, are the windy evenings. It makes life much easier when there are no mosquitos around! The rooms need some renovations as mentioned by other guests, however if you are looking for a comfortable stay with a touch of coziness/sociability ('gezelligheid' is the right word for it actually!) this is a good place to be. All in all great place to spend your holidays.

The rooms need a bit renovation but it doesn't bother much. There are some small things like a wardrobe for guests who stay longer, that would be nice. Sometimes the electricity goes off in the area which makes it hard to make use of the water for example, but these are things that happen around the island I learned.

The staff has always been super helpful, they helped with all our requests (from taxi service to excursions and change of room). Special thanks to Diana for her patience! The location was exactly what we were looking for: in front of the beach with beautiful view, close to other hotels, restaurants & bars but yet very quiet. The restaurant was amazing and the food always delicious! We have always dined here even though we didn't book the half board option :)

Matress is hard, at the beginning we found it a bit unconfortable but by day 3 we were used to it and actually helped with back pain! Only "no" note for me is lack of hot water most of the days. Probably could be fixed if you ask every time, but for us it was not so cold that we couldn't shower so we only asked once and the fixed it immediately. Besides that, I would only probably add a wardrobe or something to arrange clothes in the rooms, that we had to keep in the bags and on the table.
