Brilliant location right on the clean beach with friendly attentive staff. Safe and secure with security controlled gates on the entrance. We booked half board, meals were freshly prepared and made to order with lots of options including a buffet on some days as an option and freshly squeezed juices. Breakfast was enjoyable, fresh fruit, local and continental style buffet. Additonal food is priced competitively in comparison to the surrounding hotels. We booked all of our activities through the hotel, which were priced well. The designated driver for the hotel drove safety, was very knowledgeable, friendly and spoke fluent English. The room for a family of 5 was a good size, it was cleaned daily, had high hot water pressure on the showers and the beds were larger than the average. We extended our stay and ended up staying for 6 nights instead of 3 nights. Our 3 children had an amazing time especially in the hotel swimming pool, pool table, loungers, snorkeling and safe hotel grounds. We met lots of other families with children of similar ages who all had hours of fun together. The hotel uses a percentage of its profits from the bookings for increasing charity projects in the local community, such as an orphanage it has built and accomodated children which we visited, providing access to fresh water to the surrounding homes and local community to name a few as part of their long term well structured vision. We would definitely recommend and we will be returning in the future! Me and my family planned to stay here just a few nights but ended up staying 22 nights! The bad reviews this hotel had historically definitely deserves an update because we totally fell inlove with this hotel that had everything we could have asked for and more! Before we came here, we stayed in several other hotels that were much more expensive, with less facilities (TV, functioning Aircondition, breakfast buffet, wifi in the rooms, refrigerator, hot water in the showers etc.) and did not have a complex as large as this. In this hotel the rooms were big and clean, every room had wifi, aircondition and a refrigerator, the complex were safe with guards, the pool were superclean with a poolguy working day and night, the food was affordable and delicious, the staff were service oriented and totally fantastic! This is a very friendly hotel especially for families- it´s soo peaceful and we all had the time of our lifes! Our son had so much fun with the staff that invited him to play, run, laugh and feel free as a child. This made us parents feel safe and relaxed as well. We know alot of hotels that doesn´t appreciate kids which can be exhausting. We never had the feeling and urge to control our son, keep him silent and look for him 24/7 because the hotel were very safe and friendly. The feeling was instead that all the adults (the staff and we as parents) were a team, got together and helped eachother out. This experience was completely different in contrast to other hotels! Another great thing was the location. The hotel, which is right on the beach gives you plenty of choices, a range of food, activities and nearby excursions. Our favourite activity nearby was the white, crystal sandbank- you don´t want to miss this gem! In conclusion- this hotel is the reason why we definitely want to go back in the future. The food was very nice and well cooked. The fruits excellent. Staff and people around were very friendly. Value for money. Pool was very clean.

The road to get to the hotel is very bad and not clear. The beds or mattress not comfortable. No wardrobes to pack clothes.

Well located big hotel by the beach and in close proximity to shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Big swimming pool wit a view! We had an ocean view room and ended up staying one month, cause it was so convenient.

It is a bit rustic and old, hot water was not always available. House keeping needs better management and breakfast could be improved! A locker in the room would be a big plus! More clean mats for sun beds needed!

The staff was so hospitable. They also were really lovely to my wife and I and my in-laws as we did a family-moon after our wedding. The Hotel made sure our rooms were decorated with romantic messages!

I believe the food options and the entertainment could improve. There were times when items on the menu weren't available. The kitchen staff was lovely and welcoming but we always felt like we had to go elsewhere to find the food we wanted.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our early arrival was not an issue because they provided a temporary for half the day until we could properly check in. Everyone took the time to learn our names which was a nice touch. The staff were also helpful with organizing our activities. We felt right at home in the bungalows, which were cleaned every day during our stay. We also loved our room's proximity to the ocean, being able to sleep and wake up to the sound of ocean waves on the beach is always soothing.

Towards the end of our week long stay, the restaurant menu started feeling limited with options. Some dessert options were consistently not available, and their beef supply ran out

excellent location - private access to the beech which was my biggest plus point - good value for money - the best pool in the area (based on size and cleanliness) - very friendly staff - presence of owner at the property gives the extra touch - great to hear that some of the profits from this property go towards funding a local orphanage

the property could do with some renovation but then again it's current price based on location clearly outweighs this downside

The location is ideal, right on the beach with a beautiful pool and attractive restaurant. The staff was great, and we loved being in Jambiani

The room itself was very basic, with some staining on the ceiling/walls, and nowhere to unpack a suitcase.

Hotel by the sea. Very nice staff. The rooms were cleaned every day. Beds are super king size and very comfy. Receptionist Ismael has been very helpful in many of the questions for which me and my husband are grateful. Thanks and to Waziri . The hotel does not sell alcohol. If you like western life, you should choose another place. Breakfast is vegetarian - pancakes, eggs fried, boiled, omelette, several local dishes.

If you will do a booking in this hotel, I advise you to choose rooms with a sea view as the bungalow is very small.
