The Leaf was just perfect. We had contemplated skipping Da Nang and heading straight for Hoi An but really glad we didn't. The hotel is directly opposite the beach and slightly further north of the main hotel strip. We were a little disappointed not to get a view from our room but the comport was excellent. The beds were divine and room has great aircon. Wifi was also good. Staff were always available and eager to help. Breakfast good but a little limited for western options. The staff made a point of seeking feedback which was great and hopefully they will add more fruit and yoghurts. The location suit us just fine and an easy Grab to anything in the city. A minimart is located next door. Sitting in the restaurant watching the city go by was fun and there are lots of sockets if you choose to plugin and clear emails after breakfast. You'll be a brave soul to swim at the beaches around here as they're full of rubbish. That said, they appear to be cleaned each morning and the sand is lovely. You'll see plenty of local groups net fishing with their traditional basket boats. Fun to watch as they bring in their catch.

Not a major but there no real privacy in the bathroom. Watch your head as you navigate the towel rail in the toilet, its a designed for anyone over 180cm. The 12pm was great but allow plenty of time if you're planning to get away to the airport. It took us over 30min but were in no real hurry.

I love my room so much! It is so cozy and beautiful! Love watching the sunrise every morning straight from my bed. The mattress and pillows were super comfy! I don’t want to leave the room! The staff were very kind and helpful. Lovely ‘Anna’ was amazing, she provided useful information and recommendations and even texted me on her day off to make sure that everything was going ok with me, so impressive with her good care. ‘Eugene’ the front office manager, he was so attentive and has a great service mind, always make sure that all the guests were well taken good care of. The crews at the bar and kitchen were excellent, they made refreshing juice and good breakfast. Housekeeping girls were so lovely and they always make sure that my room clean and tidy. Basically, everyone was super nice! Keep up the good work! Definitely come back!

Nothing. However, there are just some concerns that might be useful for whoever is looking at this place: there is a street infront of the hotel so it might be quite loud but I always travel with earplugs so this matter didn’t bother me. The location is slightly far from the city but it is perfect for whoever wants to take a break from a busy city like me :)

Incredible view of the ocean. Lovely breakfast buffet. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Beautiful rooms in excellent condition. Absolutely loved staying here and extended my stay for 3 extra days because I enjoyed being at this hotel so much!

Had a delightful stay in The Leaf. I join the upvotes of other reviewers on the excellence, attentiveness, warmth, and kindness of the staff. Their friendliness was genuine. They are the hotel's best assets.

The noise level in our floor was intolerable. Other families probably thought no other guests were in the floor. They were shouting and conversing loudly well into the night, I checked the time once and it was past midnight. I think the hotel should be stricter in enforcing quiet time especially at night. Also while we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, we stayed for five days and the nearly identical and repeating menu became a bit tiresome. I suggest a greater variety so we don't tire of the same food choices.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment which was perfectly appointed & roomy for a family during the wet season. Excellent beds (the most comfortable we slept in while in Vietnam) & great showers along with a beautiful view of the beach - perfect for watching sunrise & sunset. Staff were beyond helpful - always asking how we were (by name) & if they could assist. Very caring & attentive to our child who still talks about the team two weeks post stay. We loved the pool with the view & swam everyday even in the rain. The lobby is a gorgeous place to sit, have a drink, enjoy the delicious food prepared by the chef & watch the world go by.

The apartment just needs a few touch-ups from continual use - very small in the grand scheme of things.

It was literally beach front and was pretty quiet. Anne was most helpful. She arranged our tickets to Sunworld as well as the transport services for our group of 13. Even when we had an unfortunate incident with a rude driver, she immediately found us a replacement. Everything we needed, she was able to assist us. When we had to book half day rooms on our last day as our flight is still at night time, she was able to arrange that for us seamlessly. The rest of the staff were great as well. Anne just stood out.

Limited breakfast options. It takes a while for the food to be refilled. It was the same everyday so on our 3rd breakfast, you kind of want something else. Very few dining options around but taking Grab to spots is easy. Delivery is an option, too. The pool only had a few chairs to lounge on. If you’re there to just look after your kids, you won’t have anywhere to chill at. Also if there’s another group already, you won’t be able to go as the area is small. It says “bathtub” as an amenity but there wasn’t in any of the rooms we booked even at the 2 bedroom units.

The room is clean and provide with all necessities. The bed is comfy and clean. the family suite is spacious outside. the breakfast is very good and the hotel is near to other seafood restaurants (especially near to this famous "Be Man seafood restaurant" and road-side snack shops at night. it's a quiet and great beachfront. The swimming pool has a great view. The staffs are so friendly and helpful with the direction and provide us with attraction places. There's a convenience store beside the hotel so we could get local snacks with great price.

We booked a family suite with a city view, but it's at 3rd floor so our view is the back of the building behind. There are 2 rooms and one of the room is quite small that it's hard to use the wardrobe. There's only one mirror stand in master room so we were 4 girls and it's a bit hard to share among us. There were noises at night and in the early morning from other rooms.

Love the ocean view from the room. Staff were nice and helpful. Anna was outstanding!, Rose, Eugene, James and the rest of team were excellent!

The first time I stayed at the leaf, there was a lovely welcoming card placed on the bed which was impressive, however there was nothing this time. The bedding was not clean and neat. I chose to stay here to celebrate my mom’s birthday and wanted to show her how lovely the leaf was and it seemed like the room was not well prepared for welcoming us which made me feel a bit disappointed and failed to impress my mom.

Love love love the spacious and cozy design of the room! It was like an apartment with how large it was. There were even 2 bathrooms, which was really convenient. Breakfast was hot and delicious! Would like a better variety though.

It can be cleaner. Generally no visible stains or anything, but we kept killing ants while sitting on the sofa and it felt a bit dusty overall. Furthermore, the view was meh. We kept our curtains closed because we could easily look into people's houses and vice versa.

Had an amazing time, the beach is right in front of the hotel all you have to do is cross the road. Beautiful hotel rooms and exceptional staff. Sam was awesome! she’s at the front desk and made my stay great. she very kind and helpful. She let me check in a little early and allowed me to leave my bags at the front desk while I ran around exploring D Nang. When I came back she made sure my room was ready and the AC was on blast! Made my stay in Da Nang better. Next time I come back I’ll stay here for sure! also, great pool. Great hotel room views made waking up in the morning wonderful.

Not a super walkable area. I had to walk quite some time to find a convenience store and purchase sunscreen. When I finally found the store they only had one type of sunblock, very low spf and a skin whitener component :( The sun is super potent here so bring your own!!
