What a warm welcome from the receptionist on check-in. She made us feel at home and she offered us welcoming drinks which we felt very welcomed.The place is beautiful it indeed a 4*

The treatment of Black to black service is disgusting…e.g the cleaning lady ask my children if she can clean their room with a funny face ,she was bored , instead of her doing what she is supposed to do.The waiter on breakfast refused to assist us when we were changing Tables ...We had to remove our own stuff and the treatment they were rendering to white people was totally different from us that got us very upset.This is a 5*we are expecting more .

As I stepped into the hotel, I was immediately welcomed by warm smiles and offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The attentive staff quickly assisted me with my bags, guiding me through the main entrance and into the hotel's exquisite gardens. After a long day of travel, I decided to order room service and was delighted by the delicious meal that arrived promptly. The room is comfortable and quiet, perfect for a restful night's sleep. The suite was meticulously clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated with ambient lighting. I was particularly impressed by the thoughtful layout of both the room and bathroom. The suite was also equipped with amenities including a coffee machine, mini fridge, TV, laundry service, and plush bathrobes. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will happily return.

The WiFi can be slow and spotty, and the single room is designed for those who prefer to dine out as it doesn’t include self-catering facilities. The door rattles in heavy winds which can be startling especially during the night.

We liked everything. We first stayed here in 2018, just after it had reopened following the devestating wild fires of 2017. Everything was brand new then, and 6 years later, the same high standards and quality have been maintained. The only difference, the gardens have now matured and are beautiful.

Only one niggle, I am dairy free, and usually opt for a vegan dessert, there was only 1 option on the menu.

The estate was well laid out. The small details were excellent. I particularly loved the L'Occitane bathroom products. I wanted to keep washing my hands..🤗 the capsule coffee ☕️ machine in the room another premium touch. Also the thought to put an umbrella in each unit, which helped during the rain on the day we left. Beds were comfy with good room lighting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the grounds are well maintained.. would have loved to stay longer.. Indeed a special place. Would highly recommend it 👌

Absolutely loved everything about my stay at this fantastic resort!!! The staff made me feel at home with their warmth, hospitality and friendliness. Dane and his team went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. The apartments we stayed in were well decorated, super clean, and well laid out and made for a wonderful stay. The amenities in the resort met every need, and the swimming pools in the summer would be fantastic. The gardens were well maintained and added to the charm and character and made it a tranquil place to enjoy and relax. Location is excellent with everything needed within a few minutes drive. Overall a fantastic experience and I cannot wait to stay at this resort again! Well done Hollow Country Estate for an excellent experience!

It was a lovely 2 days spent with you. We particularly enjoyed your restaurant and the food. It’s great to be able to enjoy a glass of wine, and not to have to drive anywhere afterwards. The swimming pool was a most welcome addition in the hot weather.

We stayed in chalet number 18. While it was absolutely lovely, and well appointed, comfortable and gorgeous, there is a pool filter shed behind the room, and it made a sizeable noise all night. That is the ONLY complaint we had.

Some of the staff were not friendly They also told us at 10 pm no staff will be around No security only the gates will be closed No service or front disks so if you were outside for any reason or stuck with no key you might not be able to find anyone which made us uncomfortable

Beautiful rooms, great breakfast and the staff were really friendly. The bungalow cottages are set in beautiful gardens. Great value for money too.

We would have liked to play some padel but the courts were really busy the weekend we were there with the local team playing. It would be great if some time could be reserved for guests, as we didn't know we should have booked in advance. Just a very minor point, we still had a brilliant stay.

Facility is really beautiful and peaceful, and nicely tucked away from the cbd. One can rest and recharge without needing anything from the outside. I had the balcony room where I could watch the birds in the evenings. My son and loved that he could get a bike from reception and ride around the property! I will definitely return.

Extra blanket or suitable winter duvet would have been a appreciated , considering there was no electric blanket. A little bit of variety on the restaurant menu would have been great. The shower took too long to warm up

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here. The grounds are quite incredible. The room itself was enormous, with all the amenities you'd expect along with a huge comfy bed. The on site restaurant is brilliant, to the extent you don't need to leave the site to eat if you don't want. The staff were the friendliest we'd met in a hotel and couldn't be faulted. Would highly recommend to anyone if in the area.
