The staff was excellent. Food was very good. Location is perfect, away from the street so you enjoy peace and quiet but also walking distance from the mall and beach.

I really enjoy the food but wish there was more variety.

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are large clean and with a balcony. The location is excellent. Close to the beach lots of great restaurants and a supermarket. The housekeeping staff is very good.

The breakfast was not great and restaurant staff very glum. There is a set menu for dinner which was limited but good. Unfortunately we were caught in the storm so had to do with the lunches n dinners the hotel provided. We are grateful for that though. We also had a failure of water n electricity for a full day and this was indeed a difficult experience. There was no proper backup.

We liked the hotel very much. The receptionist was very good, kind, considerate, pleasant, and beautiful manners. Nothing was too much for her. I don't remember her name. All the security staff were pleasant.

I didn't like how the breakfast was. I think the buffet style should let us take the breakfast ourselves. Also the glass for the juice was too small, you had to take about 6 glasses. They need to find a way of doing the toast because you select your breakfast, by the time they do your toast, the breakfast is cold. Plus, they do not have to slice it in triangles. One particular member of staff was very rude. She needed to be in school to learn professionalism. Otherwise all the members of staff at breakfast were very welcoming.

Small and friendly,quiet, comfy bed, spacious room, lovely pool,very good food , breakfast included in the price and very good value for money.

No fridge in the rooms, insufficient sun beds and brollies. Just 2 umbrellas over tables. The bar closed really e@rly most nights 8.30 - 9.00 as it was a training hostel and students had to get home and no other bars near by. There could have been support staff on duty till normal closing time. The service at breakfast was intermittent and varied every day. Some days tea/coffee was served at the table, some days self service from urns, some days served at the food counter. Even though we came to breakfast at 8.30 quite often certain foods had run out without being replaced. The students should be trained in getting the basics correct.

Ok this hotel is actually a school (institute to train hotel staff) but they are really doing their best. Location is excellent as 5 min walk to beach, allowing them to be much cheaper than most of overpriced hotels on frontside. Breakfast despite quite "slow" was good. WIFI/TV = excellent. Room = top clean and comfortable. Pool ok. Did not try other options.

Only 3 chairs at the pool side, so if you are a group...it's tricky. Not that easy to find if you don't have a GPS...would recommend a sign at the entrance of the street, from main road.

Several staff were friendly & obliging, interested, chatty, helpful. Close to the sea, short walk, although you had to walk to Rockkey beach to swim.

Remote on TV did not work. On telling reception she said she'd see if anyone was availabke. Nobody attended. No call back to update me. All she had said was : "its not really our problem!" So that was that!! At breakfast toast was never offered. Had to ask for it. Lovely juice. Some staff very friendly & helpful, others looked completely bored. Some reception staff again friendly & helpful. Others were less so. Seems swimming at the beach is not permitted. Would have been nice to have known this vital information in advance!! Room was nearer to stairs/lift than requested, but it was comfortable enough.

Staff were very friendly, helpful & polite - particularly the cleaning ladies, security & serving staff at Breakfast, they were all lovely & helped to make for a very pleasent stay Room was clean, comfortable &, most importantly, had air-con! Had everything I needed Breakfast was good, selection of hot food, cereals, yogurts, fruit & juice - service a little muddled at times, when it got busy, but not a major issue & as mentioned the staff were always helpful & polite

A hotel that’s also a hospitality college for local students. Rooms whilst basic are very clean and tidy. The staff at this hotel are always smiling, friendly, engaging and happy to have you stay with them. The gourmet dinner is a chance for the students to put into practice their skills from food prep to front of house and service. It was fun to be a part of this. The small pool on site is good and it’s an easy walk to the sea / main road.

Would have liked a kettle in the room but we brought our own.

The rooms were very clean with excellent maid service. Bed was very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

The pool area looked lovely, it was a sun trap and there were no umbrellas for shade so we did not use this area, sadly. It was fabulous to have air con in the rooms but we were unable to sit on the balcony due to heat from the unit being emitted. A fridge would have been nice in the room, however we did make use of the ice machine and being able to top our water bottles up was great.

We stayed in a queen room for a week in February, and had a most enjoyable time. The hotel has a total of 20 very similar bedrooms, situated on 2 floors, all with balconies looking down the street towards the sea. Our room was very spacious, had a large comfortable firm bed, and good air-con. Everything worked well. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area with very little traffic, yet only 5 minutes walk to the seafront and a selection of bars and restaurants, and regular buses along the coastal road and to Bridgetown. It's a further 20 minute walk along the boardwalk to the spectacular Rockley Beach, which we visited on several days. The hotel has a large pool which was excellent for swimming; most of the time the pool was deserted - it was like having your own private pool. Breakfast usually consisted of 6 cooked items plus fruit, cereals, yogurt, toast, jam etc. The scrambled egg was excellent. In the evenings a limited dinner menu is provided - we enjoyed eating there and it was good value. The gourmet meal which they offer on Friday nights was excellent. The hotel is attached to a training college for students in hospitality, consequently the service at breakfast and dinner was rather haphazard due to the staff being a bit nervous and inexperienced. A bit of patience and understanding helped smooth things along. The hotel has a very peaceful ambience and the bar/restaurant shuts early in the evening. If you're wanting a lively time you need to look elsewhere!

1. The rooms do not have fridges, which is a nuisance if you want to keep drinks or food cold. 2. The pool area could do with some brollies and more sunbeds. 3. Information about the restaurant menus was inadequate, making it difficult to decide in advance whether to eat there or go elsewhere.
